It is what I expect from a store with "no frills" just your basics with pretty good sales prices. So 5/5 for a discount grocer 3/5 if you were looking for a deli, instore bakery, etc

It'll do like most NO Frills, the staff is good, BUT the outside at the front & around the rest of the plaza is a pigsty! It's filthy & not great upon entering or exiting the store!

We have been shopping at no frills for 18 years. The quality of vegetables and fruits have become horrific. I will rather pay more so that we discard less. I have been shopping a few times at Walmart and find that they are only slightly better. It is true, you get the quality when you are willing to pay the price. Overall, the cost to feed a family of two is outrageous. I am unable to conceive the horrendous cost for those families who consist of three or more.

Pricing is as good as it gets in these times, so if you're on a budg, t this store is a good place to shop.

Every time we buy meat from here, it spoils within 2-3 days. Other grocery stores' meat stays fresher for longer. It must be a cold storage issue or a supplier issue.

First class assistance from staff and cashier. People were eager to help with holding doors open and my efforts to get items enclosed in cold cabinets.

Searching Last minute baking products and an associate help me quickly and directing to right aisle. Clean place and COViD protocols in place.

Rep at this store advised me to follow up regarding my points. At a different location when this happened they put it on manually

I was not happy to learn on my way out of the store that the staff are no longer cleaning shopping carts.
I am not sure when this practice stop but there were no signs telling customers this.
The store has the right to make changes but they also should have the courtesy to inform their customers with proper signage.
I.e. At the cart pickup location.

Always find the produce and prices worth the trip. Excellent prices and fresh produce get me there almost weekly.

Favourite staple grocery store not far from home. Clean store, well stocked, friendly staff working here. There is a hand sanitizer station and wipes to ensure that the carts are sanitized.

This is a formal complaint to the management at Nofrills. I’ve been a customer there for years now. Not sure what is happening but twice now I’ve purchased chicken which was spoiled way before the expiry dates. The first time I let it slide not wanting to be bothered by it ($15 down the drain) the second time I brought it back, in it’s packaging, sticker with expiry date still on which was days from now and they refused to exchange because I simply had no receipt. This has become unacceptable to be quite frank, why would I buy chicken from another grocery and come complain about it to you? (Which I left there after they refused to exchange because Im honest and it was their product). You have now lost a customer and trust I’m really good at boycotting whoever does me wrong. You are not the only grocery store in town and I will be glad to go elsewhere and not play Russian roulette with my chicken. Thank you for reading this, Regards.

I drive right past this location and head all the way to the Guelph Line location because it's actually faster, when you consider the long lineups. There is no direct access to self-checkout, so you have to wait in line and be called to use the self-checkout, and then be led there in groups as though you're on a field trip. If I wanted to be treated like a baby, I would go back to kindergarten.

This place is very close to my house, however I don't like to wait 22 minutes for checkout (Feb 24 around 2: 40pm).

I like this store best. Always organized, clean and stocked up. Never any wait time. Overall, my favorite.

It's a great place to go get food.
Food is always been stock fresh.
You can almost find everything you need here I'd you like to cook. If you need something fast to make this place will probably carrie what you need prices are great too for the most part.
Most of the time is pretty clean.
The only reasons I don't give it a 5 star is cause prices on meat are more than what I think it should be and they don't carry some of the raw condiments that I use for cooking over all is great.

THIS NOFRILLS LOCATION SELLS FAKE PREPAID MASTERCARDS! I bought one as a Christmas gift and the recipient couldn't use it. It turned out to be a fake card, and when we went back to the store (with a receipt) the manager refused to take responsibility. I wish I could put 0 stars for these scammers.

Great price, great selection. Only thing is mostly they have one or two brands of the products.

The check out aisles are disorganized, you have to line up in the same aisle for both unless someone points it out! I didn't see anyone outside wiping down the return carts and no sanitizing bottles at the entrance unless I missed them!

We purchased a pre-paid mastercard as a gift in this no frills location that ended up being a fake, making us lose out on $100. When we were purchasing it was activated bh the cashier and everything, but when we tried to use it it turned out to be fake. When we approached the owner, he claimed that it wasn't his problem and raised his voice at my mother, and also refused to check the other gift cards his store was selling for fraud because he was busy restocking. How can you not care that your store sold us a FAKE prepaid MasterCard? The owner doesnt care that his store is selling counterfeit prepaid gift cards, and even recently I have seen produce that had gone bad laying out on the shelves without being taken away. The management of this location has gone down significantly so stay away if you can!

Probably the worst run store in the GTA and if I could give it 0/5, I would. They treat customers like kindergarten children, which just goes to show what kind of management and employees work there. Unnecessarily long lineups all the way to the back of the store, self-checkout is off limits, you gotta get to the back of the regular lineup in the back of the store first, even though the self-checkout is empty. Sure, makes good sense - let's make the lineup go all the way around the store. It is so ridiculously inefficient, but the worst thing is that those people think that they are so good at it. I'll never enter that store again.

I have been shopping in the WRONG grocery stores! The prices in this store has such good prices. Gotta wake up and keep track cause it actually does make a difference where you shop.out of convenience.

I prefer to go here over Fortinos just because the prices are so much better (I end up spending $40+ less here) and it's usually not as busy during the day. It has been clean every time I have been there the last few months. Seems to be staffed well through the pandemic, they are able to move the line really quickly when you are cashing out. My only complaint is that I wish they sold Coffeemate creamer and veal scallopini also the music they play with the cheesy rap about low prices is pretty horrible but I'm sure that's more of a corporate decision? Otherwise it seems to be well stocked, clean, cashiers are friendly and fast.

As one other customer notes they went back to a one line for all system. It worked much better with separate line ups for regular and self-check out. However, it being a small store the self-checkout line extended into an aisle which is still better imho because its not a very popular aisle with baby products. It sucks having to carry your stuff across the store, passing multiple people just to get to a line in a section of the store where you didn't need anything.

Happy that the staff are checking people in store for masks as well the entrance. Most big stores like Walmart have a lot of people pulling their masks down after entering.

Very pleasant self checkout girl. Some good deals. Only negative was having to use a quarter for the shopping cart during these pandemic times.

The general store was good.
The cashier was nasty when I asked her for my bags, and told me next time speak up, when I told her that I said yes to bags when she asked me the first time, she didn't hear me (my boyfriend was a witness), and proceeded to throw the bags at me. My boyfriend was the next customer, whom she made sure, very loudly, to ask for bags.

This store doesn’t want the business of customers with cars. They have tow trucks on site towing cars. We were there for a total of 20 minutes, stopped in a Tim Hortons went to do a full shop at No Frills. Car was towed in that time, $300 charge to get it back. Had to wait in line for several other families in front of us who had the exact same thing happen. I will NEVER shop here again, and I will not shop at any of the other businesses in this plaza.

Won't be shopping here anytime soon. Made a purchase and 14 minutes later my car is being towed, because I walked to the convenience store. Nice Customer Service. Maybe you should be more transparent.

No frills, but it works. If you park in that lot for too long you are almost guaranteed to get some dings, as a lot of elderly drivers park there.

The fruits were ready for the garbage can!
The store is in need of a good clean.
Half the price signs were missing!
Won't be going back!

I enjoy lots of produce in my diet, I know I can always quality products at great prices.

Always has great sale prices, staff are friendly, busy (shows they’re good), and has a nice selection of items I haven’t seen at other stores before especially the bakery isle!

Very clean and organized. Fully stocked shelves and not overly busy for a Monday morning. Quick and easy check out with very friendly staff

No Frills is the only grocery store downtown for people who do not drive, so at least that is a Plus. I have been shopping there for over 15 years. My only complaint is not being able to reach the top shelves and cannot usually find anybody to get the item down. I have asked a tall customer on occasion to help me and I was told in no uncertain terms, "I don't work here and I suggest you get a paid staff employee". And perhaps mention to management that he doesn't have enough staff. The staff are friendly and usually helpful, the prices are very reasonable. The store is clean and the selection of food items seems to improve constantly. I notice that seniors are treated with a great deal of respect and I think that is wonderful.

Always a great shopping experience. The staff is very friendly, especially Charlie. He is always helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with!

Very friendly/helpful staff. Great sense of community in this place. It's clean, and easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are fair, and I've never had a complaint. Cashiers are all quick and efficient. Only thing that makes me sad is that they now close at 9pm as opposed to 10pm, like they used to. Great place nonetheless!

Great for cheap groceries. Expect to buy bags and pack your own groceries and to encounter the Walmart population of Burlington

This used to be a pretty joyless destination to do one's shopping, but renovations and the expansion and re-merchandising of their stock has made the business more palatable. Very pleased with the addition of a natural foods aisle and self-checkout. 90% of the time the service is pretty good-friendly and helpful. Today I actually got an eye-roll and an exasperated sigh from a young guy stocking stuff when I politely asked him where something was located. He nodded in the direction of the Thing I wanted, and that was it. Hm.

So much better than many of the No Frills I have been to - this one is so we'll stocked and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Very friendly people at the checkout and good shelf availability. Disappointed that this store installed so many self checkouts when a lot of the clientele are mostly elderly people and the machines do not seem to affect checkout times during peak hours.

The store never seems to stock the product's they have on sale plus the day before the start of the new flyer they are always out of the sale products mmmm
