I want to give no star. Came into the Oshawa location today as I want to buy a leather jacket for my birthday next month. As I walked in I was approached, I said I wanted to browse for now. I was approached 3 times in 2 minutes! I will not tolerate shopping bullying, so they have lost a $400 sale from me. Learn some customers like browse your goods!

First off I love the smell of the store. Leather is absolutely intoxicating. The merchandise is absolutely beautiful and the store is clean and well lit. Always seem to have very decent sales and do sell not just brown and black leather. Staff is always a bit hit and miss and aloof.

Their store posted a sign that they r taking a break and will be back in 10 mins. I have been standing at front of their store for more than 30 mins. My very reason to visit oshawa centre was this store. Very disappointed right now.

Got a nice black Danier leather jacket 20 years ago.
I've conditioned it 1-3 times per year pending usage.
The interior liner wore out after 15 years and I had it replaced by a tailor with some high end silk.

The leather itself is still in excellent condition even now. And after 20 years of love, anyone who knows leather at all says something.

The jacket is still in incredible condition after two decades.

I still have the original Danier hanger and the quilted liner that came with the jacket originally.

Will never part with this jacket.

Bought Roxanna winter jacket. After few wear the zipper got damaged. Took it to repair but OMG over a month I still didn’t get yet. Since mid December I have no winter jacket because they keeping it to repair. Maybe another month. So sad because today I have to buy another jacket as the weather got colder. I am very disappointed with their services.

Purchased a beautiful camel coloured winter coat. Friendly staff and I found my coat on sale. I just love it. It matches everything and is a classic style that will last for years to come.

Waaaaaay overpriced. Recently left the store as a result and found a local, custom leather tailor and designer who created a perfectly fitted, high quality jacket, exactly the way I wanted it. Took 3 weeks and 1/2 the price of Danier.

Custom made attire used to be far more expensive than readily made retail garments because the purpose was to create a “perfect fit”. Funny how times change. Wouldn’t you rather have a gorgeous, custom fit and made jacket/coat for half the price? It’s a no-brainer in my humble opinion.

Not what it use to be. Too expensive for what they have. Which isent really much for the sq ft of the store. The older store my have been smaller. But they were priced a little more reasonably and the staff was nicer.then at the newer store. Not at all the same!

The store is clean, the staff is friendly, but the coats are just so expensive. I have a leather bomber from here, I've had it for 12 years and it's still in pretty good shape, so the quality is still there but unless you've got 500+ to drop on a coat.

Horrible, rude ignorant staff member made sure I will no longer shop at Danier ever again. Bought a duffle bag at their Niagara location and was told no problem to return it if I changed my mind or didn’t like the bag after I got home as long as I had my receipt. Well, not so much at this location, Kelly, which should be spelled with a C, tried to make it so difficult to return the bag that I almost gave up and left - this happened after the store manager in Niagara told her on the phone to accept the return. Finally, after 45 mins of her nonsense which included insinuating I was a liar, claiming it was now a “used” product and asking “ would you buy a used bag? ”, ignoring me while she trained a staff member on the cash register and giving us dirty looks she processed the return. I feel sorry for the other staff who have to work with this person who should NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ANY JOB.

Not the same as it was before they were bought out and changed the name but still got a nice wallet for my friend cost just under 100$ and seems to be pretty durable so far! I like how nice everyone there is. Only thing, the staff look like they are about to get on the runway and it's a little intimidating.
I like how nice they are but they look so fake and like they hate there Jobs/lives

It feel likes it's a Sephora situation where they have to look like models and dress in black to keep there job.

The sales staff is a little pushy but very knowledgeable and honest about pricing and when sales are coming up

I love supporting Canadian made stores.but nowadays most merchandise are made overseas.

I used to visit their location on St. Clair, Dixie Outlet Mall and Square One for their sales, purses, wallets and belts. I have 12 Danier leather jackets, 5 belts and 25 of their purses.

When I saw a Danier store in the mall, I dropped in and was very disappointed with all items made overseas. Yes, their designs are nice but I can tell the stitching and quality is no longer worth my business.

In my opinion I rather give my business to an independent Canadian made quality.
