We shopped around and decided to go with Darmaga. The engineered hardwood floor is high quality/very beautiful, and price is reasonable. Brent is always so kind and helpful. It's a pleasant experience to do business with them. Very much appreciate it!

If you are looking to have wood floors, vinyl floors or anything in between I would highly recommend Darmaga. From the moment we entered their showroom the staff were there to help guide us to the perfect flooring solution. Everything went very smoothly and whenever we had any questions their staff responded immediately. Installation was completed in only 1 day, that included laying down a subfloor and the detailed adjustments since our floor was not perfectly level. The installation team was friendly, polite and clean. We are looking forward to our next home renovation and will be choosing Darmaga when the time come.

Why 3 stars when this company has a rating of 4.4 at this time, I’ll explain.

Had them come in to measure my house, agreed in price and ordered wood also charged me to move furniture as I lived in the house.
Had to wait a long time because was on back order…. Not their fault.

Wood finally arrived and booked a date, they showed up, after about half an hour they saw my closet
with the carped removed and they said this is not in the price given…. How can it be, they said it’s not and even if we wanted to add it in we don’t have enough wood.
Called Darmaga and they confirmed that they didn’t price that although I told them to when they came in to measure.
So now THEY MEASURED AND ORDERED THE WOOD FOR ME.
They did the install, left quite of few blue marks in my freshly painted walls and chewed up the first step of my freshly renovated stairs and didn’t miter all the quarter round…. Oh I also moved about 80% of the furniture and was told because they touched 20% of they still had to charge me full price….

Ok I said I’m not going to be too picky with the marks on the walls and first step etc, so I left it.

Now for the 3 starts…. I finally got around to install the wood in my closet, I waited a few months because I had to cut the wood and leave garage door open didn’t want to do it inside.
They ordered 3 boxes of wood and I only used 2, I have 1 unopened box, now remember they measured and ordered the wood for me.

So I called them and explained that I had a box left and THAT they measured the closet so I asked can I return it……they said NO it’s a special order so we can’t take it back (they can sell this in a minute since there are on back order for months).
I explained that it was them who measured NOT me…. They said it don’t matter because it says special order on the invoice.

They have been around for many years and personally I think this is not very good customer service, they should have taken responsibility for the mistake and authorized the refund.

I for sure will not be recommending them or using them in the future.

Daramega has changed a lot since 2009.
I bought a house in 2009 there daramega installed my flooring which was a great flooringi.
I purchased a house in 2020 built by Vogue Development there daramega installed flooring so.i was happy because daramega was installing the flooring.
But it was totally different experience
Horrible flooring named superior flooring lot of shotcuts while installing them.
Worst experience

Andy was great from the months in advance of finding the hardwood product I needed all the way to the end. The end was the most relieving part, where I didn't plan to deliver the hardwood to my home and got ahead of ourselves by bringing an SUV for 30 boxes of hardwood - big mistake. This was 9AM and luckily Corey who was working the warehouse out back made himself immediately available after clearing it with front office. He showed up no later than 25 minutes to Scarborough. No contractor was left dissapointed that morning so thanks to Corey and Andy for saving the day.

Corey delivered the flooring today. He was efficient, pleasant, hard working and explained all that he delivered.

As a Custom Home Builder, I am very cautious as to which suppliers and materials are used for our projects. The team at Darmaga provides exceptional service and quality right from the first encounter. Paul and Mike always work with our clients and our team to assure the best product for the job. Cory handles all our deliveries with care, respect, and professionalism. I would recommend Darmaga flooring for all your flooring needs.

What a great experience dealing with Darmaga, right from the start in dealing with Andy to the delivery by Cory. Friendly and helpful, will use again for next project.

This was our second time using Darmaga to provide the wood for our floors. The first time we bought oak hardwood by Superior. Excellent experience! This time we went with ash by Superior. Paul was our sales rep both times. Paul is professional and knowledgeable of his products. He suggested ash this time since it is stronger than oak but the grain looks very similar. Well done Paul!

Corey delivered our order. He single handedly unloaded over 100 boxes of wood super fast. (Approx 2000 sqft). He was polite and courteous and professional.

Also a shout out to Andy. He helped out in Paul’s absence during covid.

These guys know their stuff. I trust them to provide me with the right product, and delivered on time.

Do not buy more than you need. No returns on some type of flooring even left over is over 100 sq.ft

Great local company sourcing quality Canadian woods. Friendly staff and well organized. I had visited approx 9 different flooring stores around the GTA. Many were trying to sell me Oak hardwood grown in Russia and then manufactured in China, then shipped here to canada. I held samples of the overseas product and the quality is no where near what I receved from Darmaga. I'm glad I didn't cheap out and went with a local and reputable flooring company. Thank you Darmaga team.

Great products, very reasonable prices, a team of knowledgeable staff that are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want. I wasn’t the easiest customer as I was short on the amount of flooring I needed.twice. Both times I called they were able to facilitate getting me more product in a very tight timeline. Again thank you to everyone for your patience and hard work during these extremely difficult times. I understand how much more different it is to operate a business under the current restrictions but you guys hit it out of the park. Will refer many people.

Look these pictures of daramega poor installations! Daramega did a horrible job installing hardwood flooring in my brand new house built by vogue homes. Also the flooring was installed by daramega is one of the worst flooring in canada called superior flooring.
Vogue showed us a very quality flooring at the decorate center and installed a very cheapest superior flooring

Builder rep told these flooring installed by darmaga.very disappointed the way it installed.
May be daramega has some bad installers too.
Worst part Is builder showed me a flooring and installed another one.
When I had s pdi inspection I pointed out over 30 damages on the flooring.
The installation proves not proper install tion.cutting corners

Sales staff are very knowledgeable and patient when trying to decide on a product and colour not to mention they have good quality and high end products that are safely made (not from China). They let me have a sample of my flooring to take home and delivery was smooth and respectful. I have used Darmaga twice now and both times I have been very pleased with their service. Definitely would recommend this store.
