I Just had to pop on here and write a review about my Awesome experience at Dave & busters Oakville. Our server Mara M was so lovely, she was very attentive to the table, had some great recommendations and overall was so genuine. The Customer Manager Asha came over and greeted us
She was super friendly, helpful and accommodating with our request.
Def a fun place to go for some good food goodtime. Whenever you go just ask for Mara M or Asha they both knows a lot about the menu and will guide you through. My overall experience was 10/10 and would definitely go back!

Don't go here unless you plan to spend 2-3 hours having a meal. The service was terrible, they were short staffed and the staff could care less to service you. We asked several times to get our bill even giving advance notice when we ordered dessert to bring our bill and it still took her 45 minutes to bring it us. We were there with 3 children who just wanted to play the games and sitting there for over 2 hours is just not acceptable. We didn't ask for the manager but the server brought him over as we weren't happy. He was no help and all he could say was that they had a big hockey tournament and that he couldn't do anything. Didn't offer to pay for the game tickets or even dessert. He's by far the worst manager I've ever seen and didn't care to listen. Worst customer service.

Another thing to note is that he was using our server to clean up other tables when we were sitting there waiting for dessert and waiting to get our bill. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing as he should have servers, serving the customers.

I will never go into any Dave and Busters again!

Honestly, it's a cool idea and generally a decent place. I would not go out of my way to return.pricey food (although tasted good) so crowded, games not working right, and problems with service people. We will go somewhere else for a family night out!

Overall good place to bring the kids to run around do their thing. Food and beer was good, better than what I was expecting tbh.
Excellent chicken burger & above avg fries. Mixed drink on the other hand was very disappointing as seen in the pic. Now I'm not expecting pic colour quality drink but it looks like pink lemonade. Draft beer was cold and tasty

Loud, obnoxious atmosphere. Most games are rehashes of mobile app garbage (cut the rope, fruit ninja, etc.) and are not fun at all. Remember when arcades were fun? ! Food is pricey for what it is. Service is slow (and it wasn't terribly busy).

Dave and Busters is pretty awesome. They have a great variety of arcade games, they also have a bar restaurant inside, the food doesn't dissapoint, and neither does the drinks. It's definitely a great place to spend some time with friends or family.

Sat at the bar tonight. The bartender Kim was so amazing. She was kind, full of energy and overall an excellent bartender. Will definitely come back to dine and have Kim again!

Some dude came up and just grabbed my arm and didn’t let go. Strange experience. USA is better.

Went for a date with my husband. It was my first time there and it was awesome. I'm not really a gamer but we had an amazing time. Definitely will be back

Fun place to take kids. Games are half price on Wednesdays. Food service, however, is on the slow side. Second time I went, we sat at the booth for 20 minutes after being seated and the server still had not returned. We ended up leaving to eat somewhere else.

Had so much fun there with my son. Love their selection of games; Minecraft dungeon, Hungry hippo, axe throwing, even VR game. Although we didn't have much luck with the tickets but we had fun there.

Friendly staff, games were great and reasonably priced. I was very disappointed in the lack of food options, although that could be because of Covid. Food did not taste great. Wings and nachos were very disappointing. We'll return for the games, but we'll eat somewhere else.

I recently attended this location after experiencing others in Vaughan and Detroit. While I was disappointed to learn there was no more ear and play combo, our host Ray was very helpful in helping pick out the best values in chips and deciding on the right meals. His recommendations seemed very personal and honest and when the food arrived, he couldn’t have been any more accurate. We also received very attentive service from Ms Lisa, who absolutely went the extra mile. This location quickly became my new favourite!

Good time, arcade is fun. Even adults can enjoy this, not just for kids. Menu is actually really good and surprising. Was actually impressed since its not my first choice of dining. Pleasantly surprised. Wear running shoes for the arcade part and dress casual, you’ll have fun.

Ride guys at the front literally threatening to get kicked out for asking question waiting 20min for a drink while everyone else is getting served reasonably place was dead pretty dead aswell

Games are VERY pricey so it's not a place to go often. But for a once im a while splurge.perfect!

Staff is amazing and environment is extremely fun!

Had a decent time. Some of the games were malfunctioning when issuing tickets and when I spoke to staff personnel working in the rewards area he seemed frustrated that I was bothering him about the issue even though my complaint was valid and I wasn't being awarded tickets. I ended up having to ask for assistance on 3 or 4 separate occasions for different games. It's as if I did not pay my hard earned money for the service. Anyways he apparently fixed the issue. Just a bit stumped that I was being frowned at so just a heads up to others who go here. Look out for that. I work in customer service too and it sucks being treated funny when obviously u did nothing wrong.

Good place to have fun. Only problem with the restaurant side of it is that they are very slow at serving you and the utensils/glasses are not clean enough. Apart from it the atmosphere there is lovely!

D&B is a very fun place with an excellent selection of electronic entertainment. However, not recommended for dinner. The food was not very good and boasted to be. The overly-salty food probably was meant for selling more drinks.
Disappointing.

Staff is rude and impolite. No care on the world about service - waitress said she can't clean the table for at least 15-20 minutes, I asked one of the managers to clean the table which he did promptly.of course, waitress at that table didn't want to bring menus afterwards so I asked someone for those.she came n left the menus. Had to seek someone else for the order.

The staff should be agnostic of money spending clientele (we were 5/6 orders along drinks etc plus play cards - so we were willing to spend money).

People will come for the fun regardless of service. But that's not how brands work. Very disappointng.complete opposite of Vaughan location. Grow a thick skin if you want to visit this location.

Terrible service our waitress forgot about us. I know that happens so that’s okay I guess. Three of our glasses weren’t washed. Unacceptable. And then food was cold! I believe they were understaffed heavily or a new waitress or possibly someone who isn’t a server.

Had a blast at the New Year's family event. It was lots of fun, the staff made the celebration great for the kids. The games were great and there was lots to choose from. Only thing that was not so great was the food. It wasn't the best in taste, lots of kid favorites but it didn't taste great. But I would definitely go to this event next year and recommend it to others.

Service Needs to Improve

1) Food was over 1 hr wait - first manager we talked to had many excuses and didnt acknowledge the problem. After while they told us there is a party upatairs.if there is a another party either limit ppl going to restaurant, hire more ppl, or let the the guest know its going to be a long wait so they can play. 2nd manager (bar manager I believe) was very calm and tried to rectify the problem. If he was the only person we had to deal then I wouldnt date it so low.

2) Food was terrible. Ordered medium rare and got well done.

Here is a tip: Have those buzzers that tell you when food is ready. That way people can play instead of waiting over an hour at the table getting frustrated. Suggest giving them free 1 hr play card when wait is long.

I am sure D&B's would be a great place to go if you were under 40 but I'm not. We were able to eat in a slightly quieter section but the constant noise from the arcade and video interactive games was a bit much. When they made announcements, they had to do it at such a high volume that we jumped out of our seats. Again, if you like noise, that would be fine.
The waitress was very accommodating in helping us find what we wanted to eat. In my case, I wanted the quesadilla without spicy peppers so she was able to modify the order and it was perfect.
The guest we met there suggested that next visit, he would drive further to somewhere quieter.

If you like the wild, have fun. Went as a fun date, but it was a little much to handle at times with all the noise, people, and lights. If you like Timesquare you may like it here.

First time going to dave and Busters, probably gonna be the last time. Tonight the food wasn't fully cooked it was cold in the middle for some of us, the other half of us had over salted food.the staff service at the bar wasn't the greatest one of the ladies working there kept my change saying that i told her she could keep the change which was a bs lie.the drinks were a little over priced, last thing is half the games weren't even working! Which really sucked honestly if you really wanna play games you should save your money and go to playdium.than hit up a bar after. I'm honestly really disappointed about tonight because i heard a lot of hype about this place as well, so i said why not give it a try, well i wasted my money tonight.

I have been a couple of times and the food and drink specials were great! They have a good game selection well. Felt there was not enough wait staff working both times so wait times were a little longer and a lot of games seemed to be out of service but, these were minor details in the overall experience.

Nobody ever seems to pick up the phone at this location. I am constantly getting their main menu loop after choosing to speak to an operator. I hear three rings and then get pushed back to the main menu.

Update: finally got ahold of a manager who was willing to honour the promotion in question. D&B still had a lot to do to clarify us promotions vs. Canada promotions.

This one-star review is specifically for the restaurant/dining area of this establishment.

The one star is due to the fact that we were seated and waiting for at least 20 minutes and no server came by even just to take our drink order.

To be fair they did seem to be understaffed on this particular evening - however, it wasn't until a member of our group went and asked the hostess if a server could be sent to our table that we were even acknowledged (the hostess came by a few minutes later to inform us that our server was finishing up with some other tables). After we waited a little while longer, we decided it wasn't in the cards for us that evening, and decided to dine elsewhere.

Great place to grab some food and have drink while playing arcade games. Unfortunately, it does seem as if the games are recalibrated often enough, either that or I am always in there just before they are recalibrated.

Horrible experience.came in for a company party and ALL of us had either the orders messed up or cold food. Like how on earth can a “cook” mess up chicken fingers which are definitely frozen and pre-made already. That just goes to show how long those must have been sitting for them to be served cold.another person from my group wasn’t even served a side with her burger.and when asked the server said we don’t offer side for the burger “its separate” in disbelief we asked another server and said yes we do and said thats odd for the other server to say that. After that for my entree, it was FORGOTTEN about how is that done? When every single person on the table was served and the dish i ordered (bang bang chicken) had 4 orders on the table but only 3 came out. When talking to the manager he came to me and told me the dish wasn’t made, 20mins after when everyone else was served and almost finish i get my dish. My girlfriends order was a cold bangbang chicken but in the end of it all they only gave me 50% off one dish.when i was expecting at least both being 50% off or not being charged at all for it. As it was not only a 1 or 2 problems but EVERY SINGLE ONE had something wrong with the service and it was a group of 12, so 12 mistakes all at once. Get this fixed if you want to stay in business, and looking at the reviews im not the only one complaining about cold food or ordered being forgotten. Not going back.

This place was amazing 10/10 love these guys. Their staffers were super helpful and informative. They have good food that fills you up, drinks that are really good from adults to children, and games that will have you feeling nostalgic for days. Definetly would reccomend for a first or fiftieth date. This place all around is a spectacular venue. (oh and the buy in is super cheap. So it's good if you're on a budget too.)

We went on discount Wednesday and the computers kept shutting down. Reason for the 3 stars is because the staff refunded our money for the power card.

Had a fun night here. Did have some issues with getting our cards to play the games. The first set we got did not have any token credits on them but the staff resolved the issue. We ordered food as well but got the wrong sides but were compensated for them. Overall there were a few mishaps/mistakes but the staff were very good at handling them and correcting them. Overall had a great time. Would go back again.

Love this place. I have been to many locations in US. They all are great. We took 40$ card and played almost all the games and still had few $ left. Great place for family outing, date night, friends, everything! Good drinks and food options as well. They gave a separate seating as well, if you and sit away from the crowd. We ordered Long island and Strawberry watermelon margarita. Both were perfectly for us.

Lots of fun for the kids but expensive for credits. We took the option of paying $5 extra for unlimited 'blue' games (they don't give tickets) which made it much better.

Awesome atmosphere especially if your into sports. They got TV's everywhere. Recently had my work Christmas party here. Food was amazing and staff was really polite.

Arrived around 11 pm food came out late and cold. Food had to be returned when it did some of the order didnt come and waitress claimed order wasn't placed and spoke 2 different managers where they didn't seemed to care didnt really apologized or sincere about the situation. Ended up leaving.

I usually love this place, but there was a horrid little witch bartending and she kept looking me up and down because I was in sweats and everytone else was dressed up I guess, she refused to serve me and then a nicer girl came over and apologized for her, stating that she does that a lot. So to the woman with the "russian-eske" accent, with the badly drawn on eyebrows and even worse attitude.you lost your bosses the usual $1500 I spend there with my kids, because we left right after you ruined my night. Not going back.

P. S. To the owner, check out a girl named ANFISA on Youtube @ 90 day Fiancee" Then you will know EXACTLY what wretch you employ that I am speaking of. I would fire that woman if I were you, because she will only lose you more and more money with those terrible people skills.
