Wonderful book store, a hidden gem for collectors. They held a book for me for several days until I was able to collect it, that’s service!

The coolest bookstore EVER. Such a hidden gem. The owners are so kind and friendly. The moment you walk in, you’re met with this incredible view of rare books on these awesome shelves. It smells so cozy too (this might be a weird thing to say but it’s true!) They’ve got an awesome collection and I even found a few forgotten titles that seem to have been erased from history. They’ve got all kinds of books in different languages too. However, the highlight that takes the cake has to be Henry. What a sweetie. I asked if I could come back just to play with him and the owner was kind enough to say yes. I’ve never met a friendlier cat in my life. AND HE LIKES BELLY RUBS 100% going back there the next chance I get.

Wonderful book store. Great stop for the bibliophiles out there. Good selection and friendly staff. A very unique space worthy of a visit.

What a gem of a book shop - friendly and helpful staff, a marvelous collection of antiquarian and rare titles, and a lovely cat to boot! I'm so glad I popped in.

Henry is the best! Very social and curious of where we were going at the store. Very hard working, making biscuits nonstop while we gave him scratches. The store has a wonderful selection of rare books that you might not be able to get anywhere else. The shopkeeper was also very friendly and sociable, we didn’t give him any scratches though.

I didn't feel welcome. The lady asked what I wanted and I was a little embarrassed and I left. I'm giving 3 stars because the cat is cool and he talked to me.

It's an absolute hidden jem of a book store It's a jaw-dropping experience to walk in the door for the first time.

There is no better place to be than David Mason Books. It's always a wonderful browse, and I never leave empty-handed. I am especially thankful to Norm for his excellent service, fine sense of humour, and in-depth knowledge. And, most of all, heartfelt thanks to David for his thoughtful tutelage over many, many years, and for taking time out of his day to speak and reminisce with me.

This antique book shop is legit. You get what you pay for here. The collection is extensive and they have many vintage art prints for sale as well. It almost feels like a museum. The shopkeeper was extremely nice and helpful. They have a friendly cat who minds the shop.

I just bought two books and magazine. I want to say how much I enjoyed coming here, especially how welcoming the owner is, even the cute kitty was very welcoming and friendly:) I would give more stars then five because of the communication, welcoming overall how you can find very good books. I highly recommend this place.

Everyone here is so nice! I was able to find a child's book in my price range and it is Timeless. So glad I choice to visit here while I was in Canada
