The staff at this location are very friendly. I went in with a dress that I needed altered. Renee in the alterations department was fantastic! She was patient and kind and you can really tell that she’s trying her best to make the dress perfect for you. If you need a dress altered…. Especially if it’s delicate, you’ll be in good hands with her!

I just completed an appt at David's Bridal for my 3 bridesmaids to get their dresses. It was a great experience from start to finish. Diana helped us and all 3 of the girls were successful and happy with the dresses they chose. Diana was very professional and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend for any wedding or bridal dresses. Definitely make an appt.

My experience at David's Bridal in Scarborough was absolutely amazing. I started my journey on my lunch break, which wasn't enough time, however Carla went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed the experience, and made it back to work on time. I returned a few weeks later with my mother to make the final decision. Due to my schedule I had to work with Ms. Renee for the second appointment. She exceeded my expectations and created a memorable moment for mom and I. Renee suggested a dress that wasn't on the list, which turned out being the dream dress. They have a great team at this location, thanks ladies!

It was an awful experience. They made me feel fat and it was honestly one of the worst "woman to woman" experiences. I feel worse about myself than before I came in. Im sure theyre nice people but it was handled unprofessionally, no sort of compassion or effort. It was basically, your midsection is a problem and shoulder shrugs we have nothing for you. No compassion or anything. Just, youre too big. So thanks guys! That felt awesome.

Amazing experience! All the ladies who were in today were so helpful and truly love what they do! Not only did they help me find a beautiful dress, when we were undecided and they didn’t have a size of one for me, they found another of their locations locally to help me ensure I made the best choice! I ended up back in Scarborough to purchase the one we saw there and am so in love with it! I can’t wait to wear it on my special day! Thank you to all who helped today!

Had a great experience later in the day on Sunday. Was able to walk in, and have the lovely Diane help us at the Scarborough location. She was right there as soon as my bridesmaids came out in their dresses. She clipped them into place with every dress they tried on. She was great to talk to and very helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful and I wanted to have a more relaxed time doing this and I did!

Amazing customer service today with Arsho in alterations. She took her time to make sure my dress fit perfectly. Making sure I was completely satisfied. Karen helped my best friend and her mom find their wedding gown/ mother of the bride dresses. Going in to see the dresses was so easy and fun and Karen was so helpful with all of us. Giving us tips and tricks (especially for me as MOH needing to know how to do up the dresses etc). Such a warm and welcoming space!

Bad customer service, Overpriced bad material no name dresses, Also no sizes that you looking for most likely they will need have the size sent from a different location. All the styles are out of date and cheap looking anyway I wouldn't waste my time in here, I have no idea how they have this many "good" reviews from people. If you look at most of the photos you can see how cheap looking the dresses are with huge price tags on them.

I rarely write reviews.but I had to because of the fantastic customer service. I have to let everyone know about Renee in alterations. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Weddings are stressful enough and everyone wants their dream dress to be perfect! Renee helped make that vision possible! She ensured my sleeves came in on time and never got frustrated even if I called her a million times. My dress looks like it was made for me!
Renee, if you see this, please know how much your amazing service, kindness and execution of my vision meant to me! I'll never forget it!

Oh and if management sees this, please give her a promotion! She is highly skilled and I know she would train others to provide this kind of service!

Thanks to Violeta (and my MoH), I now have so many beautiful photos in a wedding dress that adore. We had originally planned for a small low-key wedding, so I was very reluctant to even visit a bridal store since I was worried I’d either be wasting my time looking for an inexpensive dress or be pressured into buying an extravagant dress I didn’t need. On the contrary, I had a very pleasant experience at David’s. Violeta stayed positive, even as I said “no” to dress after dress for a myriad of reasons. All the stylists in the store offered helpful suggestions for possible alterations and additions in order to help make each dress into what I was looking for. In the end though, I was astounded to find a dress that I loved so much that I just took as is. After searching in regular stores and online, I didn’t expect to find this perfect a dress in 45 minutes at David’s Bridal. Overall, I am super happy with my experience at David’s and would recommend a visit to all brides-to-be.

It was the best! They have plus-size everything. Prices were amazing. They had a wide range of colored bridal dresses as well! Shaggy was the sweetest, and the manager was very kind and involved. They made me feel special. This Eglinton avenue east location had a lot of options.

Don't let the appearance of the store fool you. It's very busy and loud, but my overall experience was good. There were many lovely bridal gowns and the prices were great. My consultant was very nice and was knowledgeable and helpful. My wedding isn't until next year and I have appointments at a few other bridal salons, but there were two dresses at David's that are definate contenders.

I want to say a huge thank you to Jean who was my stylist today! She was so amazing, she wasn’t fussy or pushy. She was funny and made my experience so amazing. She let me and my friend really wear the dresses and have fun! I felt so relaxed as Jean is such an amazing chilled out person! In the end I said Yes to my dress! Thank you Jean!

Had an amazing experience at David’s Bridal. My wedding is in 2 weeks and they worked with me on finding something off the rack that I absolutely love. I had no idea what style I wanted, but they really listened and observed on what I liked and didn’t like and made recommendations on dresses.

David’s Bridal was amazing in helping me find my wedding dress! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Renee Hakim, the alterations manager, was to deal with. She customized and fitted my dress so it fit perfectly to my body. She was so kind and easy to work with and made great suggestions to make my dress even better. I am very happy with the final result! I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day.

If I could give Pav 1000 stars I would, she was absolutely wonderful. I found my perfect bridal shower dress at the last minute with Pav’s help. I bought 4 others that I was not too sure about but I finally found the one I LOVE! Not only did Pav make sure I made the right decision, but she also helped me complete my outfit with the perfect shoes, earrings, bracelet and the cutest hair clips! Now that’s how you up sell. I’m really happy with my service I received at this location from Pav. This is truly a one stop shop!

Out of town bride to be visiting family in the area. I had several salon appointments booked, including one at David’s Bridal. I unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to scheduling but then we had some time after my first appointment of the trip. We decided to stop in and just browse as there were no stylists available. After browsing, Gloria checked in on me and my aunt to see if we needed anything. I happened to want to try on an off the rack dress and we were ok to do it ourselves, but Gloria and a couple stylists with time between other appointments all jumped in and helped me with the dress and also brought us some other options. They picked out a dress that made me have major princess vibes, was really close to my budget, and found me the accessories to complete the look. I didn’t want to take it off, so I knew it was meant to be! They made the end super special too… I actually got a little emotional which hadn’t happened with other dress ons. I walked out with “the one” and cancelled the rest of my bridal appointments. Now I just get to enjoy the rest of my Toronto trip with my family!

I found my dream dress at David's Bridal and I couldn't be happier. My stylist was Jean and she did amazing. She answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me finish the entire look. I felt so comfortable and felt finding my dress at David's was a team collaboration amongst the staff. Thank you for making my family and myself special

I had the most AMAZING experience today at Scarborough David's bridal. Jeen was my consultant and she was absolutely fantastic, she made this experience so much FUN. Zero pressure, zero judgement, lots of laughs and she even teared up with me when I decided on a dress!

100% willl be returning to see Jeen in December to pick out the bridal party dresses.

In comparison to other boutiques I've tried recently, this experience, by far was the most positive I've had!

I went there with my stepmother to find a dress for my wedding and she found one that she liked. However, the sales rep was pushy and the rep didn't feel genuine regarding to how the dress fit my stepmother. It felt like the rep wanted to sell us more items then what we came there for. She said all styles look great on her, which was far from the truth. We almost left with out the dress because the vibe wasn't right and they didnt take the time to ask us from the beginning of the appointment what we were looking for. For me, it's the small things that count and I felt sales rep fell short on this part. I've been to other David's Bridal location and had a better experience there then at this location.

Horrible selection, unorganized and even worse customer service. If you are looking for helpful staff and lots of options in your size.you will be disappointed. Also why is the Canadian website such trash?

Admittedly, I had negative experience with this location in the past - but a friend and I went to find a last minute bridesmaid dress.

Not only did they accommodate us without an appointment, but the service was incredible. Megan was so helpful and patient with us. She had a ton of great recommendations and overall, made our experience so positive.

We will be back!

Roya was very attentive to my needs and vision for the dress. I really appreciated how she explained the process and what additional options were available to me beyond what I initially envisioned. Picking up the dress was a smooth process, the woman (I'm sorry I'm terrible with names) was very polite, attentive and accommodating.

I am so happy that I got my wedding dress from David's Bridal Scarborough today. I only have 2 more months until my wedding day, despite having such a short notice, I was able to pick my beautiful dress with the help of Sukannya. Suki was very patient, helpful, and went above and beyond. I was able to try on multiple dresses in a span of an hour. The store is huge with a lot of stunning gowns to choose from. The staff were all nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend Thank you so so much Suki.

I got my Wedding dress in 2019 at David’s Bridal and Covid happened. I’ve gained some weight during the pandemic and the dress was so tight that I can’t sit down.

Even though there’s very little fabric to work with, David’s Bride Alteration made it happened! I love the all-in-one bridal dress service. I don’t have to worry about my dress at all. I would 100% recommended to any other bride-to-be.

We went for a special occasion dress shopping and Sita was assigned as our sales associate, she was so helpful and so professional, she let us take our time between every dress star to finish. Thank you so much for the great experience we had at your store:)

We found that the bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride dresses very outdated. The store needs to bring in more modern selection of dresses.

When I booked my appointment I was very clear about what I was looking for and that I specifically wanted to try on sleeve options for my dress. The employee happily booked me in for the appointment and told me to browse the website so they could easily pull items for me during my appointment. Upon arrival I am told that what I was looking to try on is not something they carry in store. (Something they could have disclosed on the phone) Furthermore, the seamstress only presented me with 2 options for having sleeves made. Overall the appointment was extremely disappointing and a waste of time. We also looked at bridesmaids dresses which was a joke since the selection was outdated and made me feel like I stepped into 1990.

We went bridesmaid and mother of the bride dress shopping - David's Bridal was great! Violet helped us pick out styles, offered suggestions when we were unsure, and was just all around lovely. Highly recommend.

This was a very very good experience.and I wasn't even there to buy any bridal gear. I was advised by a friend to go here for a formal dress.and I was so glad that I did. They have a fabulous selection. Not only that, but we were assigned our own consultant, who was very very kind, helpful and attentive. All of this, and we were only looking at dresses in the range of $200. So very happy with the experience ️

I had a wonderful consultant who made me feel very comfortable. She was honest, quick and very focused on my taste and preferences. I was quite anxious going in to try on dresses but she made the day so worthwhile. My bridesmaids and mother also enjoyed her expertise and customer service.

If you are looking for a quiet and intimate experience this would not be the appropriate place, however the selection of dresses met my standards and I found a beautiful dress which was affordable and exactly what I had in mind!

I had such an amazing experience at David's Bridal. This was my second time there and both times Grace at the Warden and Eglinton location was such a GREAT help. She listened to me and what I wanted and was very patient with me. She kept providing me with different suggestions and ideas and let me try on any dress I wanted in the store. I am very happy with the service. If you go to this location ask for Grace!

David's bridal was the second stop on my dress hunt today and I'm so glad I saved it for last. The ladies at the store were absolutely incredible, they gave me honest opinions and helped me see what the alterations to my dress are going to look like by layering pieces underneath the dress. They pulled dresses that were exactly what I was looking for and let me shop around on my own to see the dresses too. I'm pretty positive I've found my dress at David's Bridal and I can't wait to wear the dress on my special day! THANK YOU SO MUCH to the ladies working December 18th evening!

Prices are great however choices are limited if you're looking for a mermaid or a-line silhouette. The lady who was helping me seemed distracted and wasnt as hands on. The alterations lady was more knowledgable and was super sweet. Recommend this store if you're shopping on a budget but make sure you know exactly what you want before going.

The stylist helping me out was Silvia. She was super helpful. I had a style in mind but she recommended for me to try other styles on as well which was great because I got to see what dresses suited my body type. I really enjoyed my time at David’s Bridal. The staff were super friendly. Prices for the dresses were super affordable! I told her my budget was $5000 and all the dresses I tried on were below $2000 which is amazing! Great prices for such beautiful dresses! I found one that I really really liked but did not say yes to the dress yet because I have other appointments, but it’s definitely on the top of my list. Highly recommend booking an appointment here.

They only have few dresses to choose from, ridiculous price for the style of dresses and quality that they carry. I was so unimpress. Jean was friendly and nice and she really tried to help me but it's even difficult for her to help me when there isn't enough dresses to choose from.

This was by far the worst bridal appointment I have experienced! The "stylist, " who was assigned to me was unprofessional, condescending and no help at all. Karen did not seem like she wanted to assist me in finding my wedding dress! Karen seemed frustrated when I asked her to show me a certain style of gown. When asked where these styles would be, she told me that "she already showed me where they were. " Did not expect this response for someone trying to assist with an important day.

She did not offer any assistance, and quite frankly did not seem like she was familiar with the gowns, designers or what the store really had in stock. When I described what I was looking for, she didn't seem to listen or care, seeing as she did not show me ANY gowns.

Frustrated and fed up, I advised the Manager that I would be leaving, as I was not receiving the help needed to find my wedding dress. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to any bride trying to find the perfect wedding dress, or looking for a positive experience. I would never go back as they have quite low stock on products, and Karen did not make it seem that this location would be receiving more stock in wedding dressed.

My Bridesmaids and I joke that sometimes out of horrible experiances you get funny stories. We definately bonded over the horrible experiance we had at Davids Bridal this past weekend. That was the only good thing about it.

Our appointment was supposed to be at 1: 30, which is when we checked in. We were told to browse for "a few minutes" and our "stylist" would be with us soon. After half an hour of waiting, we went back to the front to see what was happening. I was introduced to the stylist about 5 minutes after we went back up, and again, we were asked to browse and wait. This time, we were at least given a change room (1 room for 5 bridesmaids) where we could put down our coats.

Fast forward another 20 minutes, and our stylist finally comes over. Not to help us, mind you, but just to tell us to move our stuff to a different room (she said because the new room is much bigger than the one we had, even though they were exactly the same size), and to let us know in the most condescending tone ever that the dress one of the bridemaids was looking at was only special order and would take 14-16 weeks to get here.

We kept looking on our own, and brought a few dresses over to try on. When the "stylist" finally joined us, she did not help at all, but just sat at a computer saying what was on "special order". She offered no assistance in finding what was available sooner, or finding sizes, or anything else. Instead, I (the bride) basically had to do her job for her - looking for sizes and styles that were available to order online, and pulling options for my girls to try on.

There was one dress the stylist said was in stock that a bridesmaid loved, so we asked how to purchase. She started telling us how there were only 3 of that style in my colour. I told her I only wanted one (they were not going to wear the same style, which she would have known if she had taken 2 minutes to ask about the wedding). According to the stylist, she had to call and "get a quote" for the dress, I asked her what the quote was for, since the price was on it and she had said it was in stock. I never got an answer. I asked her to get the quote, and she started talking again about there only being 3, and never actually did anything. At that point, we got frustrated and left. The "stylist" - Jean - asked if we were not going to order anything, and I told her that, no, we were not, because according to her everything we looked at was on special order. I was actually able to find the dresses to order online (in stock, to be delivered in 2 weeks) so I don't know why she couldn't source anything.

The DB "stylist" obviously did not care about the event or our experiance. She didn't even point out the accessories, which I had said I needed when filling out the questionnaire as we signed in (I think she did not even look at the questionnaire). The only time she seemed midly interested was when she realized we were going to leave without buying from her, and at that point it was obviously too late.

The dresses were nice, and there were a lot of options, so we ended up finding ones everyone liked. DB is a good option for dresses, just, go shopping at a different location to save yourself some fustration.

Jessica was lovely, the dress is beautiful. I just wish we had been on a Canadian site with Canadian prices as all dresses far more expensive than anticipated. I also wished that I didn't get 5 emails about great deals on dates I couldn't attend because it's hard to coordinate people's schedules and I had already booked the fitting date. Even 10% would've made the difference.

I had an appointment on Dec 15th/18 with Shelly. And she was absolutely amazing. I'd recommend her to everyone. She knows what she's doing! She has an immense knowledge on the gowns which was demonstrated while helping me chose my gown. She guided me through a case selection of gowns that helped me pick 'the one'. Excellent customer service and attitude. I'd give David's bridal 10/10 with the service provided by Shelly. Thank you for helping me chose my gown.

Today I went to David's bridal in Scarborough and had the most amazing experience. The consultant I had was Shelly and she was so knowledgeable, friendly and so much fun. I was able to say yes to the dress thanks to shelly.

My experience here was okay, not horrible but not amazing. My consultant started off good, but didn't seem very happy to be there. Just not very cheerful which kind of put a damper on the experience. She also seemed very interested in making a sale. About 3/4 of the way through my appointment I told her I wouldn't be buying right away because I live in Alberta, and she pretty much disappeared after that. Didn't offer to take my measurements or anything. I also asked if one of my bridesmaids could try on a dress and she didn't seem to like that, even though we were the only ones in the store. I don't plan on buying my dress from David's Bridal.

I ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses in April online. My MoH was from another city and tried on the same dress in another colour before so I know I ordered the right size. Two days before my wedding when my MoH tried on the bridesmaid dress, we discovered that the electronic tag was still ON the dress! This was an online purchase and they sent me a dress with a huge plastic security tag on it. I had to drive all the way to a Davids Bridal store the day before my wedding to get it removed. That was such an inconvenience with all the other things that you can imagine needed done. I am very disappointed in a reputable store such as David's Bridal to make such a huge error. I'm fortunate I live in a city with an actual DB store, I can't imagine how it would be like if I lived in a rural area.

My friends and I had a terrible experience. Our appointment was for 1: 30 and we got assigned a "stylist" over an hour later. The "stylist" did not pull a single dress for us nor offer any advice. She stood at a computer outside of our changeroom discouraging us by telling us items on special order - not once did she direct us to dress IN stock. She never bothered to ask what we were looking for or type of wedding. She also clearly did not look at the sheet the bride filled out as we were open to getting some accessories, but we had no desire to spend extra time in the store by the time we had settled on dresses which we are ordering online because of the poor service we received.

We also had one change room for 5 bridesmaids. If we had known we were going to be pulling all of the dresses ourselves, what did we need an appointment or a stylist for? ! We also could have been done a lot sooner. I was also visiting from across the country and this was our only opportunity to do this as a group. Extremely disappointing experience.

I normally don't like to be negative about anyone working in retail or customer service. It's a tough business, and you never know what kind of day the other person has had. But after seeing several other reviews of women who had a similar experience to mine, it's safe to say this wasn't an isolated incident and seems to be an indication of how David's Bridal conducts its business.

I had made an appointment for 3pm over a month in advance to look at bridesmaids' dresses and had indicated that there were three women in my wedding party. The woman at the check-in was very friendly, and said that my "stylist" (I really hesitate to use that title with her) would be with us momentarily and that we should start looking at dresses. Roughly 20 minutes later, I was called back to the front and notified that my stylist was here. I can't even tell you her name, as she never introduced herself. She just roughly stuck out her hand with no attempt at a greeting.

After pointing out a few dresses we liked, she said she had a bride she was still looking after and would be back with us shortly. It was another 20 minutes before my maid of honour finally went back to the front to ask what happened. Our stylist returned five minutes after that with no apology, saying she had to clear out a dressing room for us. We were only given one dressing room for three women (again, I had indicated well in advance how many would be trying on dresses). It took her over 20 minutes to clear out one dressing room, and she never once attempted to communicate with us where she was or what she was doing during that time.

Besides actually going to get dresses in sizes, the stylist offered no help whatsoever, including any kind of suggestions. My bridesmaids had to find clamps themselves and were pinning their own dresses. There was a bride trying on dresses right next to us, and she was in the same boat. The same stylist would bring her a dress, and then abandon her. The bride's friend was clamping the dress, and the bride was asking us what we thought. My sister even suggested for one dress trying a belt with it, which my sister-in-law grabbed for her. When the stylist finally returned and saw the bride now with a belt on the dress, she replied somewhat rudely, "I've never seen a belt on that dress. "

To cap all this off, the stylist bluntly told my sister-in-law that she was a size 16 (this is in street clothes, not any kind of bridal or formal wear sizing). My sister-in-law handled it very well, and said she had never worn a size 16 in her life but was willing to try it. Sure enough, she was swimming in the dress and it looked ridiculous on her.

Overall I'm just utterly disappointed by the entire experience. People rave about David's Bridal and I was excited to try it. But it doesn't appear that they're interested in giving anyone an enjoyable experience. They expect you to buy something because of the name behind them. I'm glad to see others have had an enjoyable experience at the store, but I would not recommend this location to anyone.
