Dr. Li is the absolute best and the selection of frames here are incomparable. Gorgeous shop, professional staff, and warm atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place enough.

They fit me in for an eye exam when I wanted but the most surprising of all was that the their front secretary was actually nice. The same goes for Dr. Bethany Ho. She was thorough, took her time, and I didn’t feel rushed. I was amazed at her “bedside” manner when so few seem to possess them in her field. I will definitely be recommending Davisville eye care to everybody I know. Some things to note:
- the eye exam is $210
- there is limited parking available
- they have recently switched addresses from Davisville to Mount Pleasant
- they do direct billing

Very happy with the service. Brenda is my doctor and all staff is great! I got 4 pair of glasses in June and every pair is amazing, specially sunglasses with prescription. Love, love them! Been with them past 3 years and highly recommend them!

Dr. Cassandra was absolutely incredible. She walked me through each moment of the exam and made me feel so comfortable and looked after. Their retail and admin staff is also so kind and very informative. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone! Especially if you're a little nervous when getting your eyes checked.

Davisville Eye Care knows how to make you feel supported! Laura helped me find the perfect frames, Daisy creatively problem-solved an issue with my contacts, and Dr Li keeps my dry eyes healthy! The new office is beautiful, and the team are second to none. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

I came here for my first eye exam in years and to update my glasses prescription. I was very impressed! The staff are friendly and helpful, this place is super professional and organized, they value your time, and they charge a reasonable price for their services. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're in good hands, and considering this is your eye care we're talking about, that counts for a lot! I will definitely be coming back for my next eye exam.

Fantastic place to get your eyes checked! We saw Dr. Ng and she was lovely - very good with kids. The rest of the staff was wonderful, too. Highly recommended!

The doctor is really good, lovely and knowledgeable, but too much over priced for eye exam and glasses

I have been going to Davisville Eye Care for many years and have always been impressed with the professional, compassionate and knowledgeable service they provide. Of note, Dr. Li helped transition me back to wearing contacts with multiple fittings to make sure they felt perfect - and Dr. Yamamoto took care of an eye issue my 5 year old daughter was experiencing with thorough examinations and multiple follow ups to make sure all was well.

Highly recommend Dr. Yamamoto. She examined my eyes carefully and patiently and the staff of Davisville eye clinic were great.

I had an eye exam with Dr. Yamamoto, and she was fantastic - professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and was patient with answering my questions. The clinic was very clean and followed all covid-19 protocols. Overall a very positive experience.

My eye exam with Dr. Yamamoto was quick and seamless. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and followed strict COVID-19 precautions. Everything was sanitized after each use and they provided tape for the nose bridge of my mask so that it was properly adhered to my nose. Great experience and I’ll definitely come back here for my next exam!

I went for my second visit in December for my annual eye check up. Dr. Ng was personable and seemed knowledgeable about her assessment. She explained things well. She updated my prescription but unfortunately made an error in my eye reading. Fortunately, my optician (at another location) caught the mistake when filling my prescription with new glasses. I called Dr. Ng to let her know and she acknowledged she had made a typo with my eye prescription and sent me the new corrected prescription. Thankfully my optician caught Dr. Ng's mistake or else I would have paid a lot of money for my glasses that were prescribed in error.

I came to see Dr. Yamamoto as a new patient. From the point of my initial email inquiry to the fitting of new glasses, Dr. Yamamoto and Davisville Eye Care excelled at the service they provide. Even more, I felt very comfortable with the management of their office during COVID-19 and I felt safe at all times during my visit. I would definitely recommend their services.

Had an excellent experience overall with my booking and appointment. Was able to give rough dates through their website and got a quick response back on suitable times.

My appointment with Dr. Yamamoto at Davisville Eye Care was pleasant and timely. I was able to get an early appointment on my requested week and Dr. Yamamoto was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my questions and concerns. The visit was very thorough for both my elderly mother and I. We were both comfortable with the active Covid screening and care all the staff took to ensure everyone’s safety.

I particularly appreciated that all the testing was explained, showing me what the screening looks for, etc.

I had a great experience using Davisville Eye Care! Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and Dr. Yamamoto was extraordinarily helpful. She walked me through everything she was doing and explained what she was testing for, which really helped me understand the process. She also provided tips on how I can maintain my eye health and truly went above and beyond.

The COVID procedures were also very thorough and I felt quite safe during the entire process. I highly recommend to go and see them!

I came to see Dr. Victoria Sin for my routine eye exam. The exam was concise and thorough. Dr. Sin was patient with me, and listened to my concern regarding early thinning of my retinas. She reassured me that the retinas were in good shape after dilating my eyes for a more in-depth observation. She followed up with me by email after our appointment to summarize the visit, and included the steps and signs to keep in mind in case things were to take a downward turn. Highly recommend Dr. Sin, who is a patient and attentive optometrist.

The clinic also takes good precautions during this pandemic. My temperature was taken when I entered, and all equipment was sanitized prior to usage, and after. I felt safe throughout my visit.

I was interested in getting a pair of prescription sunglasses and a new pair of glasses. Ada, the optician, was very helpful. She recommended a few styles, and all glasses were sanitized before I tried them on, and were cleaned after my use. I did not end up committing to the new glasses right away, but she gladly included the information of my top 2 choices for me to take home and consider. Overall, great customer service!

It's been a very long time since I've had an eye exam and this experience was great! Everyone there was so nice, and the precautions taken to keep everyone safe were top notch. It was also my first time needing glasses, and they helped me pick out some unique frames that really suit me. Great place and I would highly recommend them.

I had my first appointment at Davisville Eye Care with Dr. Sin recently. It was such an easy process with all the prior communications filling me on paper work and health regulations. The eye exam was very thorough and Dr. Sin explained each step of the eye exam process and also answered all my questions. Their clinic was very clean with the proper protocols in place to ensure visitor's safety. They also showed me some good selection of frames and sunglasses. Look forward to visiting them again for my next eye exam as well.

This was a great experience especially during COVID. When I called I got an appointment booked within a week. Before the appointment they made it super clear what their COVID procedures were via email and also sent me a form to fill out my insurance so I didn’t have to fill out any forms in the office and they already had all my info so it was as easy as just paying at the end. Upon arriving they strictly followed distancing and disinfecting procedures the whole time I was in the office. The staff themselves were super friendly and Dr. Vickie was awesome. She actually took the time and explained everything from a medical perspective to make sure I understood options and made great recommendations to reduce some eye fatigue. Best eye exam experience I’ve ever had as a lifetime glasses wearer. They are also super queer friendly which was a big added bonus!

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and great with my kids. My son has a moderate autism diagnosis and Dr. Victoria Sin was able to maintain his attention and accommodate his needs while keeping him entertained throughout the checkup.

We had a great visit to the optometrist last week for our kids. It felt very clean and safe. Staff were friendly and professional. The optometrist was very patient with my kids and took extra time to explain everything to them too.
