Dawson Dental Cambridge

I had a great experience, even though I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year. All the hygienists were so friendly and explained everything as they did it.
They even have TVs on the ceiling to distract what's going on in your mouth.

I will no longer put off going to the dentist once a year.

If you haven't checked out Dawson Dental I highly recommend you do. Very friendly and accommodating at the Cambridge location. Shout out to Tammy she is an amazing dental hygienist. The whole team is amazing.

Extra special mentions for Tammy because she’s the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She is very thorough and takes extreme pride in her work which is so rare to find these days! She is genuinely excited to watch the progress happen / figure out what she can do to make things even better. She doesn’t settle for Mediocre! Her bed side manner is top notch and her personality is warm and friendly, I can’t say enough good things!

They are so kind and understand of our kids fears. They are gentle and get the job done well.

Oh boy. Let me tell you my experience. Went in for a toothache. Told me they couldn't fix it, and they would have to pull it. Well, that tooth was infected, and instead of putting me on anti-biotics to rid the infection, they pulled it anyways. Within 12 hours of getting it pulled, I was in the hospital with Myocarditis. The infection spread to my heart. 5 days in the hospital, and a month off work. Would not recommend this place, as they don't care, and the simple fact they almost killed me.

A giant thank you to Tammy and all the team at Dawson Dental for putting me at ease. I'm always a nervous customer at the dentist, so I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to my next visit!

This was my first visit. Staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They are very upbeat answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.

Fantastic service!
I called this morning because a piece of my permanent retainer broke off and I needed someone to fix it asap. I called 3 other places before someone referred me to Dawson Dental.
First of all, it's barely 1pm and I'm already home and my problem is fixed - that was so incredibly fast!

Secondly, the staff was AMAZING! Reception, the admins, the hygienist, and the dentist were all SO welcoming, and friendly, and kind and just so overall pleasant. I have bad anxiety and I felt so completely at ease here. I don't even know what to say, I was just so beyond blown away by how lovely everyone was here. So accommodating, so helpful, so understanding!

Thirdly, the office was immaculate. It was so clean and pristine! So bright and elegant! I felt like a VIP in the waiting room and was so comfortable in the exam room! They even had a TV mounted to the ceiling, which was awesome, because I had something to focus on that wasn't ceiling tiles, haha.

Overall I'm very impressed and blown away, and I will definitely be coming back!

I don't leave reviews often, but this one of the friendliest and cleanest dentist's I have ever seen. They really know how to treat their patients!

I recently had my wisdom teeth extraction done by Dr. Barkin. The team was very polite and accommodating from the get go. The ladies on the desk are very friendly to their clients. Thanks to Asha who worked around the schedule in order to fit me in for the removal of my sutures. And also thank you to the lady who helped me calling my insurance company (I’m sorry I didn’t see your name badge clearly, I guess I was so anxious that day for my oral surgery). I have received a couple of confirmation calls and they even checked in on me the day after my surgery. Overall, it was a nice and smooth experience. Everyone was able to make me feel at ease for my oral surgery.

Without hesitation, I recommend this dental office for their friendly staff, their immaculate office and their COVID-19 precautions. They prioritize your safety and ensure that you feel safe all while receiving excellent dental care. I especially recommend Dr Shen, she is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She is gentle and ensures that you feel comfortable during the encounter.

Amazing service! I needed my wisdom teeth out ASAP and my previous dentist had more than a month wait. I contacted Dawson through their online form and within 5 minutes I had a response and an appointment set for two days later. They went above and beyond to get my into an appointment with the oral surgeon at the earliest date. Fortunately, there was a cancellation and I was able to get in less than a week after my consultation! I will definitely be staying with Dawson Dental! The friendliness of their staff makes dentist visits that much better!

I called to book an appointment to see a dentist for myself, haven’t seen on for awhile.

The lady on the other side was extremely rude, unprofessional, judgmental and outright disrespectful.

I highly recommend Dawson Dental! I've been to a few dentists and I have never felt so comfortable and at ease as I did at Dawson Dental. I am sooo impressed. Dr. Shen is well-mannered, kind and most importantly so knowledgeable and skilled in her field. Clearly, her main priority is ensuring that your teeth and smile are happy and healthy. Also, the dental assistant and receptionist are so friendly and greeted me with warm conversation. Last thing, their office is clean with modern designs and their equipment all modern. I wish I could give them 10/10 stars!

Worst dentist ever dont trust them they destroy your tooth when they fill it dont let your kids go here they will cause damage purposly to make you go back continuously they destroyed my tooth its been months evil dentists dont go here i rather go to a crack head dentist doesnt deserve to be 1 star 0 stars seems right

Have been coming here for last 10 years after some bad experiences elsewhere. I was fortunate to have Jess as my initial hygienist right up to present day. Jess had her challenges with me back then but stayed supportive and helped me overcome my uneasiness back then. She is truly a exceptional hygienist who always makes me feel comfortable knowing that I trust her completely. She has been there for me and my kids while they were young, right up to the young adults they are today. My family is provided with exceptional service from a friendly caring hygienist. Thank you Jess for all you have done this past 10 years, and Dawson dental for your support and care.

Staff is great, both very friendly and fun to be around which truely makes the time fly by in appointments.

It's amazing! I love it. I loved Chole filling my front teeth becauae she was so gentle. And i don't remember the asian girl's name but ahe was super sweet as well! And they have viberating Chairs There that you could click on were you want it too massage you. And also chole had too have been my Fav there! Once again she was super nice she even put on My Fav Show. Nicky, ricky, dicky, and Dawn! Thank ypu guys for being super sweet and super kind. Chole was like a friend too me there.

Jess Belovari was born to clean teeth she’s amazing. No pain and your teeth are so clean after.

My daughter went to another dentist to get some fillings done. She had such a horrible experience there that she refused to go again and they were not able to get all the work done.
Yesterday, I took her to dawson dental in cambridge and she was very nervous, she started crying when we went inside. The staff here were amazing and very friendly. When we went back to the room both the dental hygienist and the dentist were very good with consulting my daughter about what they wanted to do and if she said no (which she did, to some aspects) they respected that and didnt do it. They did only exactly what they said they were going to do and only what she was comfortable with and agreed to (which was not the case with her previous experience at another dental office). So I want to thank you all for making what was a terrifying thing for her, a pleasant experience. She has gained back a bit of trust in dentists now because of how she was treated at dawson.
