The team is incredibly impressive, being engaging, friendly, and making me feel valued. However, the prices are quite exaggerated; $500 for a filling and $220 for a cleaning is astounding. It almost seems more worthwhile to travel to South America, get the work done for a fraction of the cost, and enjoy a vacation at the same time.

Dr. Ted Cox is a fantastic dentist. He’s taken good care of me for decades. I highly recommend him. The staff at Dawson are kind, courteous and knowledgeable - you are in good hands.

I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years even after moving to Scarborough and I only keep coming back for Danielle. She’s the best, kind, funny and makes the check ups way more enjoyable. Probably won’t come back until she’s back from mat leave (kidding, maybe).

Oh I also had my root canal done by dr Mateo, he’s a cool guy but not as cool as Danielle.

I was, very satisfied with the services they provided to me starting with the Receptionsts especially with the Hygienist. They were all efficient and professional in deaking with every customers.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank the entire team at Dawson Dental Rosedale for their fantastic service. I’ve been a patient here for 3 years and have had nothing but great experiences. I’ve received a variety of treatments, including implants, root canal, crown and cleanings. Special thanks to Dr. Carlo Brito and Dr. Mateo Cremonese for making me confident with my smile. And lastly, thanks to Abhjeet Karnik and the front desk staff for making every visit a pleasant one!

I needed overdue dental work and denture replacement! I found Dawson Dental at Rosedale. Best decision I have made in a long time. Such nice staff and thanks to Dr. Ted Cox and Denturist George Grivogiannis I can smile again.

I have really bad Dentist anxiety so haven't been to a Dentist in a long time. I recently had a cavity and went here and Carlos and Glory made me feel so comfortable during my filling. I have found a Dentist that will be my place to go to from now on!

The best experience I have ever had at a dental office. Staff was beyond helpful and comforting. Dr Matteo Cremonese is the best dentist I have visited so far.

My wife was having serious pain stemming from a cleaning received at Portrait Dental (also part of Dawson Dental). Dawson Dental Rosedale arranged an appointment on short notice (points for that!). After taking an x-ray and consulting with an inhouse specialist, the doctor concluded that she needed a root canal. He supported his claim with a (free) x-ray image. Given my wife's complex dental situation, the procedure was high risk and I was hesitant. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and we decided to wait until the medication was all done before proceeding further. The pain went away and no root canal was needed. It was concerning that they believed a root canal was essential, when it clearly was not.
On another occasion, I booked a 30 minute appointment for an Invisalign consultation and saw no one in that time.
3 stars because the facility is clean, staff is polite, and the antibiotics worked. However, I urge caution when accepting their diagnoses.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Carlos' and have nothing but great things to say about him and his team. The folks at Dawson found many things wrong with my teeth that my previous dentist missed. They were swift to schedule appointments and get it all fixed. Dr. Carlos himself is highly knowledgeable, has great energy, will always take the time to answer questions and explain things patiently, and will go out of his way to make the experience comfortable (and, believe it or not, fun). This office really goes the extra mile, and I feel great after every appointment about the quality of their work. Thank you!

Dr Brito is an excellent dentist, very calm and great at explaining especially if you have any dental anxieties. Just got 3 filings and the teeth are beautifully done. The best cleanings I have had in years from the dental assistant Florence. Due to gum sensitivities sensitivities would avoid the dentist. 5 stars to professionalism and staff experience

Dentists are glorified sales people and if you lack sales abilities then it becomes disgustingly obvious. Especially if you’re a driver and hate being sold to, by inferior sales people

Doctor Carlos and Matteo are amazing dentist! I strongly recommend everyone to book an appointment for your any dental issue. Abhijeet is a great coordinator. However, if you see Claudia at the secretary stand, I would suggest you to talk with another secretary. She is so nervous and stressed me out! I was expecting to see more smiles at secretary stand especially after treatment. Overall everything was great except secretary experience!

Hadn’t visited a dentist office in over a decade due to severe anxiety. Went today to have an emergency root canal and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Dr. Cremonese was professional and kept me up to date with everything he was doing, while also checking to make sure my comfort level was to my satisfaction. I would recommend this dentist to any and every person who struggles with anxiety in regards to their dental visits.

Finding this dental clinic was the best thing that happened to my teeth! They turned the entire experience of a dentist phobic into a pleasure. Dr Cox is an absolute gem who finally made me able to go to a dentist appointment without the fear that usually sits tight in my stomach, Dr Matteo made 3 extractions that resulted in 0 pain, even after the anesthesia wore off, and the entire nursing staff did anything possible to accommodate my discomfort and fear. Last but not least, the ladies at reception are very pleasant, efficient with my coverage claims, quick to book my appointments and made the effort to remember my name:)

This office is welcoming and warm. The front desk staff are pleasant and efficient. The office is clean and well managed. I felt special and comfortable, along with trusting my dentist and hygienist. I would recommend this office.

This review is for Dr. Cox and hygienist Danielle. My main reason for coming to Dawson is because of Dr. Cox. Dr. Cox is very professional, honest and knowledgeable. He also involves his patients in decision making for treatment which is greatly appreciated.

My girlfriend needed an emergency wisdom teeth removal but we didn't have insurance and it would've been completely unaffordable for us, even with the government assistance coverage. Himani, our treatment coordinator was sympathetic to our situation and personally helped us to accommodate our difficult situation.

My experience at Dawson Dental was a pleasant one. Himani at the front desk did an amazing job with getting all my benefits submitted and always called me the day before to remind me of my appointments. Dr Matteo is just wonderful! This was my first root canal so I was nervous! He made sure I was comfortable and ensured I was doing okay through the entire process. Thank you to the team for making me feel at ease through my entire procedure.

Our family has been going to Dawson Dental on Rosedale for a few years. I went for a follow up and received a $9000.bill. We trusted this dental team but they did not check with the insurance carefully that some service is not covered and they continue to proceed the work. At this difficult time I really don’t appreciate their lack of care and incredibly over charging. We are also essential workers as well.
We will stop going to this dental office.

So i was on the hunt for a new dentist and these folks are close.

Its 2020 and I'm less than thrilled with how the front desk staff handled my call. I mentioned my partners benefits and reception kept say "she", i corrected her and said "he" and she didn't correct herself. After referring to my partner as "She" again and again i said "He! My partner is male" (gay couple). She kinda copped and attitude about it and said "sorry! HEEEEEEEEE".

Like you're pretty close to the village folks, and i assume have a heavy flow of lgbtqia+ clientele. Lets work on possibly being gender neutral until you know for sure.or not giving attitude about it when your corrected.

I wouldn't give this place my business at all strictly based off that first interaction.

Danielle Z is the best hygienist in Toronto. She’s the reason I continue to travel to Dawson Rosedale for my cleaning appointments.

Finding a good dentist is like finding a needle in a haystack. You could not ask for better Doctors other than Dr. Brito and Dr. Matteo. They treat you like family! Every procedure carried out is well explained in advanced and done so painlessly! Don’t ever lose these guys!

Pros: Front desk team was patient and nice.
Cons: dental team isn't honest with their mistakes.

Eventhough the dentist Dr. Matteo was nice, he definitely still needs time to practice and learn more.

This is an accident, he had accidently cut my inner cheeks during the filling using the drill. I asked him if it was a cut and he said no, it is because the divider pinched it because my cheeks were "plump".
I trusted him when he told me that, and I do believe it happens once in awhile.

As I was leaving, I asked him again If I need to atleast to gargle salt water. He said no, it will be gone in 1 day.

The pain got worse and the wound is still bleeding. Ive gotten it checked again by other dentists and it is NOT a pinch, my inner cheeks And my gum beside the tooth has been cut by the high speed drill (photo attached).
It will take atleast 1 week for the pain to subside.

It's not about the cut that is wrong.it is the fact that he did not accept his mistake and disregard my after care.

This place is exceptional! Most often I have these two lovely dentist gentlemen fluttering around me, and their assistants, making me comfortable and happy. They are careful, attentive, give you nitrous oxide when asked, and for my root canal yesterday I asked if I could listen to my own music through my baby speaker, and my dentist even said turn it up! So that was literally the best dental procedure of my life so far. Go see these guys!

I came in for a consult with Dr Brito, and he suggested I would get 2 wisdom teeth removed. Him and Dr Cremonese were very friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed through the whole surgery. I had no pain or swelling during the recovery. If you're afraid of needles Dr Brito is your go to, I didn't even feel the anesthesia, he is very skilled! I highly recommend Dr Brito & Dr Cremonese.

ABSOLUTE SCAM. The clinic lost my xray forcing me to go through an extremely uncomfortable one at their sister location. When I asked for a refund, they dragged their feet for 6 weeks saying that it needs to go through head office. Thier head office is in TORONTO. I still have not seen my money come back. They keep telling me that they will call me back and have not done so even once over this 6 week period.

Overall, it was a great experience. The front desk staff (especially Karen) were beyond pleasant, both on the phone and in person. Dr. Matteo provided my care, and he was phenomenal (as well as his assistant who's name eludes me at the moment!). I ended up needing a root canal, and the procedure was as enjoyable as a root canal can be hahahah. But seriously, he explained the procedure and why he would be performing it, he made sure that I was comfortable throughout, and he kept the mood light and breezy! He took time with the procedure, and also arranged for follow-up care.

The only downside, which I will not deduct a star for because it isn't their fault, is the location. Being so close to Yonge and Bloor, getting there by car is a bit of a challenge (parking, traffic, never-ending Toronto traffic). Other than that, the office itself is clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend this dental office!

Have been trying to get in touch with this office over the phone. For 3 days nobody has answered even when I leave a message.

They have lost my business.

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Cox two times to date and with each exchange he was extremely helpful and professional. My appointment was with Dr. Cremonese today and he too was very professional and made me feel at ease with the procedure. I would recommend this office and either of the two doctors mentioned above.

I have always had an irrational fear of dentists and visiting them. A fear of being judged for not having a good enough dental routine of cleaning, flossing etc. But I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Ted Cox. He is empathetic, sympathetic, non-judgemental and aims to assist in finding a treatment plan that prioritizes issues to make them more affordable over time without coming across as condescending or patronizing. Highly recommended.

I've been a client at Dawson Dental for the past 4 years for my Invisalign treatment and I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Drimmer and Abhijeet, my treatment coordinator. Dr. Drimmer and Abhijeet are both very compassionate and caring health care professionals that earned my total respect. They truly wanted to make sure that I am happy with my Invisalign results and tried their very best to reach my expectations of a perfect smile. Dr. Drimmer provided me complementary bonding and whitening after my Invisalign treatment was finished and that was a very wonderful gift from her.

I just started for the first time and i am so lucky to get such a warm kind and skilled Hygienist.she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable and gave me an amazing cleaning. March 4/2020 - I had my first appointment with Dr. Laura Santoro of the Dawson Dental Bay Street location today and I was very pleased with my experience. She listened to everything that I wanted to discuss and went over all points with me, giving me several options to address my problems and concerns. I will be continuing to see her as my new dentist, as she is caring, personable and seems very capable as a practitioner. Thanks to Dr. Laura for a pleasurable experience at my appointment, which is really saying something for a dentist appointment!

Rana is a wonderful hygienist! She's very thoughtful and caring. You can tell she loves what she does and it is great to have someone that shows this enthusiasm and dedication with patients. Appointments are very individualized and always makes the person feel at ease. She makes the cleaning a learning experience as well. Recommend 100%

The dental hygenist Rana was amazingly professional and caring! The best dental treatment I have ever received in my life! My friends noticed my 'whiter' teeth right away! Also, the receptionist, Karin, was very kind and helpful. Kudos to the entire team for such a wonderful professional yet friendly environment! I find that they waste alot of time booking multiple appointments over several weeks. They dont do the best job because they will see you next time. It is a dragged on process. This is the most I have been to the dentist my whole life for a small issue that doesn't seem to be getting fixed. They are nice people, but the practice needs to work on its customer care and learn how to book appointments.
