Dawson Dental Scarborough

I recently started visiting Dawson dental, Dr Dan helped me fix my chipped tooth and did an amazing job, I am very happy with his expertise. Would highly recommend him.

Today was my first at Dawson, I must say, I was very impressed with the experience. Dr Dan provided great dental advice. He was very informative. Initially, I was very nervous but he made the atmosphere very calm and explained in details about the tooth extraction process. Going to the dentist will never be so stressful again. Highly recommend Dr Dan.

I have been going here for awhile. Irene is great at cleaning teeth. She is the only one I will go to. She’s taken a stain that other dentists never could.
Dr. Dan did a good job in fixing my chipped tooth. Its looks really good, there isn’t a difference compared to my other teeth. I could also, eat anything without worrying about breaking it.
I am in the process of getting Invisalign. They are easy to talk to and great to work with.

I went there for a filling, the Dr told me he has to put 2 fillings or DISTRACT the tooth! I went to see other dr at the same day, he put 1 filling for me and charge just 110$ which is reasonable price! What kind of specialist working there and give such a scary conclusion:) I am shocked.

Bernise was such a great hygienist! Extremely knowledgeable and loves to teach her patients. The care package was a bonus!

I love this place! I've had nothing but excellent dental care from the scarborough location. Everyone here is so kind! It's always such a pleasant visit!

Friendly and informative hygienist! Great loot bag filled with toothpaste, toothbrush and floss, also threw in some mouthwash. The cleanist bathroom and waiting rooms. Great staff and service.

I've been avoiding seeing the dentist for some time now for many reasons, from start to finish the professionals here were very friendly and understanding, from the receptionist to the hygienist/dental assistant and the Dentist, they made the whole process easier and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Gelfand made my husband very comfortable during our visit. Danica, was gentle doing the scan according to my husband and Clare very helpful to me in explaining things.
It’s our first time/ visit, a new patient.
Dr. Gelfand and his Staffs made my husband very comfortable, happy, less stress and less anxious to go through the process of getting his dental surgery done!
We are thankful to Dr. Gelfand and his Staffs involved with this.

I was a bit nervous but everyone was very nice, I appreciated that they explained everything they were going to do very well. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist!

Worst experience. Very disrespectful manger. Over charged me for one visit and kept on texting me and calling me which is harrassment. I reported them. Do not spend your money here. Do not give them your money they do not deserve it. Besides the fake paid ads on here$

Irene did an amazing job cleaning my teeth today with no pain on my very sensitive teeth. She was patient and explained all the procedures.

I am a new patient here at Dawson Dental, and I can say based on first impressions with Irene, Dr. Dan and the other staff that I have definitely made the right decision choosing them as my dental care provider.

I’m terrified of dentists, and haven’t had a cleaning in ages. But Shannon, the hygienist at Dawson Dental, was so understanding and made me feel comfortable. Her cleaning was gentle and thorough. Highly recommend this clinic!

The dentist doesn't want to tell the pricing for the dental care during visit. She directs patients to the front desk to ask about pricing, the front desk has nothing to do with this. How can you be trusted if you aren't transparent about the pricing and time and direct patients to the front desk for questions you don't want to answer? That means you aren't sure as a dentist what needs to be done. The dentist also has no card with her name, only the clinic's card is given. The person who is responsible for the work never gets checked. Full name of the dentist needs to be given to patients.

Yesterday was in chair for three hours of what to mee was complicated extractions inc lauding two old implants and additions of four new inserts.
That is a long appointment. All people extremely courteous.
Best news! This mornings discomfort is negligible. I expected a lot of bruising pain and have virtually none Thank you!

Very Accommodating!
I was looking for a consult for teeth in a day. I always hear about Dawson on the radio. I walked in to see if they can accommodate me since I was passing the area and I usually work crazy hours. Although the dentist is not in at that time, Clare is very accommodating. She take some time to show me in the brochure and in the models about all on 4. She knows her stuff, answers all my questions. She also scheduled me a zoom consults with the Doctor which is very convenient in my case

I am extremely happy and i extremely recommend Dawson Dental Scarborough.
The staff is very friendly and professional.

I did an extraction at Dawson Scarborough and I had an amazing experience. The Staff is very professional and accommodating.

Experience was great until I did not qualify for 50,000.00 financing. After that the plan to fix my teeth was not clear and no responses from messages regarding antibiotics. If I was spending the 50k it was fine to remove teeth but if am getting regular dentures it is no longer advisable to remove teeth.
Also next appointment is not available until Nov 5th that is a long time to wait to have teeth fixed.
Horrible place and they should update their advertising they do not have same week much less same day appointments.

On June 26 I went for a counsel and cleaning at the Scarborough location. All the staff were friendly courteous and informative. I felt like they really cared about providing the best possible treatment for me. I would highly recommend their services.

It was great experience with Dr Ben and he took only 5mins to extract my Wisdom tooth. Even i had bad experience with other clinic with fillings but he fixed it. Great Help and Highly recommended to go thr.

Hygienist Bernice was very friendly and thorough. She took the time to work out a quick plan for my future dental appointments. She was also very informative about how to keep my teeth as healthy as possible. My appointment was done quickly and all safety/sanitation measures were taken to follow along with covid precautions.

Pleasant experience with all we dealt with, everyone at desk very professional and helpful, special thanks to Aleatia for fitting me in for a much needed appointment today. And visits with Dr Naygeboren and Dr Cohen were both helpful and pleasing. Thanks to all and looking forward to future visits for our dental care.

Edit: . Put your foot seriously down if you're having issues. Don't let them refer you elsewhere to fix a problem they started. Everything's great, till it's not. Ex 3 year customer. Far better service elsewhere.

The service is amazing, everyone treats you very nicely. The patient care coordinator 'Aleatia Tiwary' is very nice, and offers you the best service. Dr. Cohen is very good, treats you like a family member, in addition to precisely explaining every thing you need to know about your situation and what must be done next.

I was pleased find someone on the other end on the phone when I called on a Sunday after my filling fell out. It was fixed first thing Monday morning. I travel from Oshawa to see Dr Cohen, he has been my dentist for over 30 years, he is amazing!

I had a cleaning today at the Dawson Dental at Victoria Park Avenue. My hygienist is Bernice and she is amazing. Such a personable and professional person. I'm always pleased with the services offered. Especially during this time of covid. The premises are very clean and a safe environment is maintained. I've continued to come in for my treatments since last year and am very happy. At the front desk Aimee-Lee was also a pleasure to deal with. Overall a pleasant and positive experience.

I have been a patient of Dawson Dental for over five years now and I won't leave! The reception staff, as soon as you enter, are so welcoming and positive. They are so helpful when scheduling appointments and contacting my insurance company, if needed, so that my visits are quick and painless. Bernice, my hygienist, has a feather light touch and leaves my teeth feeling SO CLEAN. Prior to joining Dawson dental, my husband hated going to get his teeth cleaned; now, he goes willingly without any reminder!

I absolutely love Dawson Scarborough even before the superb facelift lol I have always had friendly and welcoming service that has always been consistent. My dentist is amazing as well as all the Hygienist that I’ve had throughout the years. Last but not least, the front of the house team is always smiling and cheerful but most importantly they even remember me by name ️ when I walked in even though I haven’t been in quite a bit outside of today. I know it might sound small but in an industry where there are so many options the little things you do to make clients feel special goes a long way! Thank you and see you soon.

I had a tooth extraction surgery after which the healing time was much longer than expected. The procedure went average but when I asked for documentation to show my work and they kept on passing me around for weeks. I even reached out to the manager Diane and it still took me 3 weeks of continuous follow ups everyday after talking to her to get the required form. The form again was not adequate but I have no strength to follow up with them anymore.

My mother (Verna Smylie) has been seeing Dr. Cohen for many years and has found him to be one of the best dentists out there. I also used to see him until I moved out of town and would highly recommend him. He is highly skilled in his field and there’s no doubt we both feel we are getting the very best of care. The staff is very friendly which creates a welcoming atmosphere. We both highly recommend Dr. Cohen and Dawson Dental in Scarborough.

Rip off, i was told the treatment will done on call. Also the manager wants $150 deposit for no apparent reason.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cohen since I had baby teeth and have always been impressed by how quick and painless procedures are. I’ve gotten several fillings done without freezing with no problems. The staff are all really kind and friendly and we’re able to fit me in for a dental emergency even though they were fully booked for the day. They have clear COVID-19 guidelines and procedures in place and I felt very safe throughout my entire visit.

I wanted to thank Dr. M. Tuason for introducing me to Dawson Dental. I would highly recommend this clinic if you want good quality service. Thanks to all the staff and especially Dr. Gelfand:   because of you I feel confident to smile again!

The best dental practice out there is Dawson Scarborough. Dr. Ben has saved me too many times to count. And Karima makes the whole experience beginning to end such a pleasure. This dentistry place is absolutely so sufficient the most politest place and they're friendly welcoming resourceful I was honestly shocked that they were so concerned people just aren't like that anymore so it was really nice and Tiffany that works there is the best

My fiance and myself get our procedures done in our hometown, but we come here for dental maintenance. The hygenist Daniela is the only person we trust for our regular cleanings, the dental nurse named Mercy was incredibly helpful and pleasant to us. Claire, Karina and Tiffany went out of their way to make our schedules work out and were beyond kind in talking us through our treatment plans. I would recommend coming here for a dental cleaning to anyone, including friends and family.

First experience at this office given covid precautions was great staff did what they needed to do to keep everyone safe. Bernice and Helen were great to work with getting my next appointment and files from my previous office.

The dentists, hygienists and support staff from dental assistants to front workers are professional experts who take time to listen to your needs and provide collaborative solutions for dental problems and administrative matters! I've been going to them for 5 years now and despite moving to 4 hours away, still maintain them as my dental team. Would highly recommend.

I had not been to the dentist's office in several years, but it was a very pleasant experience to visit Dawson Dental Center at Victoria Park and Sheppard. An unexpected toothache prompted me to seek out dental care, and I discovered Dawson Dental through my University student union health network, and decided to give them a call. The lady on the phone was very polite, helpful, and professional and got me an appointment for the very next day. Once I got to the clinic, I was greeted by a warm and friendly front desk staff, and subsequently a very professional and amiable clinical staff. The dental hygienist was polite, professional and did not cause me any pain or discomfort during the procedure (which was done very well, by the way!). The dentist (Dr. Amlani) was clear, precise, and accurate with her diagnosis and provided me with a very appropriate treatment plan. She also has excellent bedside manners: made me feel comfortable, and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. A special shout out to Tiffany at the front desk, who tirelessly contacted my insurance provider to determine my coverage. And to Dr. Amlani's assistant Claire, for her care and consideration. Overall, I am very happy with the care that I received, and will definitely go back for further procedures.
