Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lindsay

This Days Inn is a fantastic hotel stay, up there with a Holiday Inn in quality. The service I received was first rate, notably better than at several other brands I've stayed recently (Marriot, Hilton and Holiday Inn.) Super friendly front desk staff, all five I interacted with. They remembered my room number, asked about personal details I'd shared the night before, and were caring and helpful. Truly a wonderful and clearly well-managed property!

Breakfast is included, and they plate it for you in the dining room, which is a nice touch (don't have to operate the toasters yourself.)

Clean, basic decor, with room to spare in the king room. Standard dresser, TV, desk, and walk-in shower.

Plenty of parking, which is included in the rate.

All the hotel amenities plus location. This hotel is the perfect resting spot between visits to lakes and parks! Only downside is always having to ask for swim towels.

Great place to stay in Lindsey, quick friendly service. Decent breakfast selection, coffee was actually really good. Rooms were excellent condition and clean as well (As expected obviously) but seemed they went the extra mile. Excellent bathroom and shower products.

If you need a place to stay in Lindsay this is the only one you should consider. From the front desk to the rooms this hotel is far better than any in the area. They serve beer, brunch and have a warm salt water pool. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and the air conditioner kept me nice and cool.

Superbly friendly staff, will give you recommendations about the area. Rooms were clean and spacious. My only complaint was the breakfast, you can't serve yourself (but having breakfast at all is a huge plus). For someone who is a bit finicky about food I didn't enjoy someone else choosing my portion size. The first morning there were no muffins or anything so as a vegetarian I just had a bagel and eggs (carton eggs but every hotel seems to do this). But overall I'd recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and modern the place was. The person at the front desk was very friendly & welcoming. I didn't catch his name but he was working on June 20/23 at 6: 00 p.m. When I checked in. I would definitely recommend this place.

WARNING TO ALL USERS OF THE TRANS-CANADA TRAIL NORTH OF TORONTO
I’m 55 years old, a doctor, and a serious cyclist.
I stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the Great Trail. I have never been treated more RUDELY in my life.
I overpaid for the room through a third party app. When I asked the desk clerk for assistance, he called me a “sucker” and declined to offer any advice.
I said I wanted to charge two cans of coke to my room and proceeded to a nearby fridge to get them. It was locked and he said “nice try”. I’ve never before been accused of stealing. I then sat in the lobby and placed one can of coke on the floor next to my seat. Loudly, the clerk told me to pick up my can from his carpet. I’m not a baby. He then displayed discomfort when I took my expensive bike to my room for security.
It’s a rude hotel. The experience ruined my day of travel on the Trans-Canada trail.

Rare in this day and age. All aspects of the Inn complemented one another to make it a go to destination. Good grasp of managing a complicated vulnerable business.

I am not a very tall person, so I found the beds a little high to get on and off other than that it was a wonderful stay
Being a diabetic, it would’ve been nice if there was some sort of bread or buns available in case of a low blood sugar late at night
Maybe a card being placed by the television to inform people that in case of an emergency bread or buns, are available through the front desk for diabetics

The staff is amazing, very helpful, very pleasant and very respectful. The room is very comfortable and clean. Loved the big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The breakfast has a variety from bagels, eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, etc, and is very good. My favorite motel for the breakfast. It was very close to where I needed to be for the weekend, go the opposite way up the road and you have all the stores, etc. Great location. I highly recommend this motel. Can't wait to go back next year.

Really great place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The shower water pressure was amazing! Service was very friendly, and the morning breakfast was pretty good.

Excellent front desk service, even with a later evening check-in. Clean rooms with everything you'd expect. Wi-Fi was a bit finicky but didn't bring up the issue as I just had a short stay. The shower had full size Dove bottles to use! Gym has filtered water available. Basic continental breakfast with tea/coffee available 24/7 and bottled drinks available for purchase.

Very nice hotel with cookies as you arrive and a continental breakfast as you leave. I will be staying here again.

We were just up there for a hockey tournament and have to say, this was one of the best, if not best places to stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. Sherry was the best! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great staff experience, clean and well maintained property! Easy to reach from hwy 7 and enjoyed their available amenities. It’s obvious they work hard and take pride in providing a great experience for each guest.
