Dayside Windows and Doors

The crew from Dayside did an exceptional job replacing our double casement arched window and installing a door window. We also purchased some glass panels that I will be installing myself. From the quoting and site measurements to the installation, everying went exactly as planned. The installers took care to clean up and you would never know they were here.except for the beautiful windows of course!

We obtained quotes from three companies before selecting Dayside Windows. They were not the least expensive but seemed the most engaged in doing the work. Jeremy Marlow was great to deal with for the estimates and assessment. Also, Holly, in the Head Office, was incredibly supportive through the process.
We saved some cost by doing the ground excavation ourselves.
The egress window required foundation wall cutting before the installation. The cutting crew were great, very professional, and wonderful to deal with.
The installation crew followed the same day and were also professional and efficient.
Both teams respected the property and were very conscientious not to damage anything. Very satisfied with the end result.
Both the egress window and the doorlight look great. Paid for by the moving company who had broken the window).
Very happy with the quality and service. The windows are wonderful.
Were there minor hiccups? Of course (very minor), but overall, a wonderful experience and would use Dayside Windows and Doors again in the future, without hesitation.

Absolutely the worst experience with Dayside. We had our second floor windows replaced in the Fall. Since November, the condensation inside the windows has been constant and they are dripping wet. This has caused the windows frames and ledges to develop mold. We called Dayside, and someone came to take a look. They said it is because we have California shutters and to keep them open. We never close them! They also tried to blame the humidity level in our house. Our humidity level is at acomfortable 30%. Which is below the recommended levels. We emailed and called to let them know that their solutions have not helped and that the condensation is still bad and that the mold keeps growing. It's actually starting to make me sick. No answer and no response. The worst experience and customer service we've ever received. We spent so much money on these windows.

Update: we've tried contacting Dayside 3 times now since they've been here to inspect the damage and not a word back! How is this acceptable!? ! We are trying to find solutions and speaking with the better business bureau. Do not deal with this company!

Response to owner: Are you serious? You clearly didn't read my review. I had stated that we don't close our California shutters, ever, so we know that's not the issue. In addition to that, we have a humidity reader and our levels are always between 25 and 30%, no higher. This is actually BELOW the recommended levels. We know that this isn't the issue either.

Please read my original review and do better with your response and a solution. This is unacceptable. If you own a business and your product is flawed, you find a solution to make sure your customer walks away satisfied. This is not a small purchase. This is something most people spend years saving for. Do better!

Update on February 23:

We have NO shutters or window coverings on this window (pictures added after mold pics) and our humidity is at 27%. The windows are wet and I have wiped them twice already today.
P. S.we had our main floor windows replaced by Gentek last spring and those windows are and have always been dry.
I have spoken to three separate window companies to investigate and they all stated that this is NOT normal.

We had 3 windows and a patio door and we love them. Service was great from start to finish and would definitely recommend Dayside

My home is over 100 years old. It had original windows and doors when I purchased it. Dayside staff were wonderful helping me with everything needed to bring my home new life.
They did a fantastic job installing the doors and windows. There was no mess or debris when they left.
If I ever buy a new home I will definitely have Dayside do the work.

Thanks to everyone at Dayside, excellent quality and service from day one, always prompt on replying to any questions we had very friendly. Excellent quality, it is so much quieter and warmer now with all new windows and doors and the installer was amazingly quick and friendly, very thorough and precise and clean.:)
