Dayspring Cottages

My husband has been going to this resort for about 40 years. I have been going for about 10 years. The new owners have done so much to it in the short time the have owned it, and plan on doing a lot more. The cottage we had (#10) was a little on the small side for a family of 4 (with two kids being 9 and 12), and the bunk hed was a little squeaky, but we made it work. We also didn't have a cooking pot but we just asked for one and Heidi gave us one right away.
The resort itself was clean, and had lots of activities for the kids. We love the location because it's so easy to get to and we love the size of the lake. Lots of areas to fish and swim. The Beach House activities was a hit for all the kids, especially on the cooler or rainy days where they couldn't really hang out outside.
We've already booked our 3 stays for next year (two boys weekend trips and a family trip for two different families), and we are all looking forward to it!

Just finished a week away at dayspring cottages, and couldn’t be more happy. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Awesome last minute find for us, cozy clean cabins with everything you need and an awesome view of the lake. The waterfront is very clean and the beach is raked everyday. Lots of options to get in the water or on the lake. We had a great camp fire each day to top the night off! Owners are great and can assist with any questions or directions. Looking forward to going back.

Our first time there, and we didnt want to come home. The cottage was very well kept and clean when we arrived. The owners, Heidi and Jason, were very friendly and accommodating. The resort was also well kept and clean. Will be booking for next year for sure!

This was our first time renting a cottage at Day Springs cottages. We are sad our week is coming to an end. We've had a wonderful time. Great cabins pet friendly and great swimming and boating. Very family oriented, Jason and Heidi are amazing owners. Definitely will be back. Keith & Terri and Zoe Molnar.

Definitely an amazing cottage to visit. Went there last weekend with my friends and the experience was awesome. The cabin we stayed at was comfortable, clean, and has a full kitchen. We had a hotpot dinner outside the cabin while enjoying the sunset view & great scenery of the Doe Lake. We went to the dock at night and see the night sky - literally a sky full of stars. I regret not bringing a better camera to capture it.

FYI, The cottage offers boat rentals. One of my friends was thrilled to learn about this and even obtained a boat license the night before (which is just a few hours of online course and ~25 CAD because it's on a promotion now). Unfortunately the weather is too windy, so we'll do it next time ;]

The owner mentioned that the cottage is even more spectacular during the fall season, which has me eagerly anticipating my next visit. Overall I had a wonderful time at this cottage and can't wait to return!

PS: Definitely try Big Doe Pizza if you got a chance - just a 3-min drive from the cottage. They made the pizza from scratch and it is absolutely delicious <3 (Meatlover is my personal favourite)

Daysprings Cottages are comfy, cozy and a complete get away from stress. Relaxed and family oriented resort with the most welcoming owners Les and Angela. We have been twice so far and each time it has been harder to leave.
