We were looking to sell our house, it needed some work.floors and walls were in need of repair. We spoke with DCI, they came to the house and we had a deal done within 30 minutes for a price we were very happy with. We were even able to leave stuff in the house that we did not want to take with us. Very easy to deal with apart from a couple of delays with getting the papers signed. Overall we were very satisfied with DCI.

I reached out to Mark at DCI because I needed to sell my dad's house that was in poor condition after he was transferred from hospital to long term nursing home care. Mark listened patiently and compassionately and was interested in helping me with a very stressful problem. Although, I recieved another offer and ultimately sold to another buyer, I would still recommend the DCI team. So if you have a house that's more trouble than it's worth, or its stressing you out, consider calling DCI properties and see if they can relieve your stress and help you out.

I recently sold my house in Calgary, Ramsay district to DCI properties. From the get go, I found them courteous, friendly, and easy to deal with. They offered us a good price for our home, and we were thrilled that the offer had no conditions as the house required a lot of work. Courtney and Chris were great to deal with.
The deal however, was not without its stressors. Originally, I mentioned that it would be ok that they proceed with the garage pad prior to the closing date. Then I received push back from the renters I had in place and stressed that they would seek legal action if I proceeded as it was a breach in contract due to the AB Landlord Tenant Act. Reading the conditions, and checking with my lawyer, for major renos, we would need to give the tenants 30 days notice. Hoping DCI would go by and speak / incentivize the upset/demands with my renters, their third party contractors proceeded to meet the renters themselves and intimidate them that they would proceed with their pad construction the next day. I did what I felt was right, and then stonewalled all renovations to be done prior to the closing date. I really did not want to do this and it was added stress that my wife and I / renters did not need.
Needless to say, I did not hear from DCI much after that until the closing date. Even at the close, there was no clear guidance on when to drop the key off and then I proceeded to deal with an ignorant contractor explaining that I screwed him for not letting him on the property sooner and how I was late with the key, and now he has to sleep at the property 10 days straight in order to get things done.
The experience could have been so much better. I have no animosity towards the company at all and I encourage anyone to deal with them. I would recommend that DCI send out a company bio PDF document, and perhaps a checklist with its customers to help them transition the sale process. Example of checklist questions could be: "what would be a good closing date", "would you allow contractors on site prior to closing", "is there any renters in place", "Is there anything we should be aware about the property or the neighbors", "what did you like about living at your property", "do you have a lawyer? ". And then perhaps send out a letter prior to closing stating that the key should be dropped of at a specific time, thanks for selling us your home, etc.

I think a personal touch can go a long way here.

Very sleazy company. Do Not sign with them. If you do, READ your contract Carefully!
They have a clause where, if you sign, you are bound, but they can back out anytime. They did this to us at the last minute and offered $50000 less than what was agreed on.

We contacted DCI when we decided to sell our home because we thought it might be a good option for us, since we were retiring and downsizing. The initial contact and the follow up from their representative at our home went extremely well. We had questions concerning the process and received answers that made us feel comfortable in dealing with DCI. We had a price in mind that we thought was fair, and in fact received a better offer price from their representative. We agreed and signed off. A week later we received a phone call from DCI, and to our surprise, was offered a little more money for our home. I would have given a 5 star rating but we encountered a minor issue that extended the closing date. This may not be a process for everyone wanting to sell their home, but I would encourage you to contact DCI and find out if it might suit your needs.

To be honest, I was somewhat suspicious when I found their pamphlet in my mailbox. I actually called just for the hell of it and to see what they would give us, bracing myself for a lowball offer, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was all soooooooo easy. No spending any more money fixing the place up to make it perfect for people to be traipsing through, no real estate fees and they catered to our terms and timeline. All the staff was respectful and courteous. I highly recommend this company and wish them well for their future.

Never trust this incredibly creepy, lying and unprofessional company. I just tried to work with this company to sell my townhouse condo but ended with a terrible experience.

Very easy and smooth transaction. Birtha was very pleasant to work with and Ryan answered any questions we had day or night. A great way to sell your home quickly and without dealing with the hassles and cost of using a realtor. We would do it again!

I came across DCI Properties add on Facebook. I thought that it was a scam but I wasn't in a place that I worried about that so I called them. I'm so glad we did. Our house needed a lot for work and I had to sell and mover across country to Nova Scotia to help out with my father. DCI treated us so good from start to finish. Our townhouse was in London, Ontario but we live in Calgary Alberta. It was very hard for us to sell this property living in another province. We found DCI properties through online search and left our contact information in the online form. Ryan gave me the first call to collect some property details. Then Birtha sent us the offer after visiting the property. We had long time tenants in the property and were worried about asking them to vacate the house but Birtha took this stress away by assuming the tenants in the offer letter. It helped us to close this deal just in three weeks. Courtenay was also very helpful in finalizing the deal.
