Been a good customer for a few years but very disgruntled right now, extremely expensive to fix a simple seal on axel, not to mention they were going to fix and charge me for second seal that wasn’t even leaking! Also failed to identify that my wheel bearing was kaput and I’ve been driving it when it was not safe to do so. Highly Dangerous.
Also, last year they put new tires on my vehicle, a brand I never heard of without asking or consulting with me first. No knowledge of the stats or performance/longevity details of them.
With all the money I’ve given them over the years I wasn’t even worth a shuttle service downtown (which I did not know they offered) and I had to beg.
I feel they are definitely not above board anymore, would never trust them with my chariot again.

Do not trust the amount of time they say your vehicle will need to be in the shop. I have brought 2 vehicles for more than 3 repairs and more often than not the return of my vehicle is delayed. Most recently, I was told my vehicle needed 2.5 hours of work, I left my vehicle the entire day and the work was never finished.

Update: After reading the below response, some corrections are needed. I supplied the airbags and prior to purchasing sent an image of the product with all the parts that would be included. Despite this, the shop was surprised that bolts were not included. In the end, I used other resources and found the "missing" bolts myself locally because D&D could not find the part within Canada.

My interaction with this shop was often unpleasant as I was constantly blamed for the age of my vehicle.

I asked for an estimate of the cost of labour to remove both exhaust manifolds and both turbo chargers and install new ones that I would supply. I was told that a free exhaust system inspection was required first and I made an appointment. I was provided with estimate, told when the work could be completed, and was informed that both universal joints were “coming apart”. I was very concerned about the universal joints and as I was not able to get an appointment for two weeks I took my truck to Canadian Tire. The CTC service department called me and asked “why I thought my universal joints needed to be replaced”. They had removed the drive shaft and told me there were no issues with either universal joint. The bill at Canadian Tire was $70. I took this bill to D and D, explained my situation, and asked them to reimburse me for the $70. The woman at the desk told me I would not be reimbursed and that I should have had D and D replace the universal joints. I explained that I did not believe I should wait for 2 weeks since the universal joints were in their words “coming apart”. The woman then asked Charlie, the Manager, to speak to me. He also refused to reimburse me and told me that they did not remove the drive shaft but the mechanic thought he heard the universal joints “squeak”. To me a possible squeak and “coming apart” are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Charlie then pointed out how they had performed “all of this inspection work at no cost “ to me. I did not ask for an inspection and it was offered free. Charlie still refused to reimburse me even when I reminded him that for $70 he would lose a customer and receive this review. Would they have replaced both universal joints if I had requested it, even though they were both fine? I will not return to D and D for any further service.

Friendly staff full expansion of problem and estimate of lowest price possible.pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably price. Definitely give star.

FANTASTIC SPOT! We brought our only vehicle because it broke down on the side of the highway and they had it up and running within a few hours. Extremely quick and efficient and did not come up with some bogus problem. Highly recommend!

D&D put a new motor in my car more than 2 years and 60000km ago. No problems.
