Back in August 2020, life threw me a curve ball. My employer announced its intention to terminate our work agreement by the end of that week. A meager severance payment was attached to the separation notice at no extra charge.

Attempts to negotiate a better severance directly with the employer failed; my demands were labeled as “unrealistic”. However, as I am writing this, in December 2020, a better settlement than the one I could not get directly is headed for my bank account.

Where do I start? I am so grateful for Alex and how much he fought for me. I was referred to Alex by a close friend when I got let go from my job.
