Great spot to grab an espresso and go.
Really good coffee, I had a cappuccino. Nice pastries. I had a creme brulee thing that was awesome!
The interior lacks a little in the way of comfort. Couple chairs round a table, and a bar at the window. No outdoor seating, bummer.
Staff was great. Pleasant and helpful.

A small cozy cafe with perfect espresso, but also interesting coffee drinks. Even though I was there for the first time, I feel that it is a cult place with a unique atmosphere. You can find here interesting and specific products more similar to trends in Europe than in Toronto. That’s why I added this cafe to my list ‘The Good Espresso Map’, check out my profile ;-)

Amazing taste of coffee, I tried the ice Americano and it needed no milk or suger, very delicious. It's very obvious they know extract coffee in the best way yummy

My drink was undrinkable. I had specified several times that I wanted it only very lightly sweetened. But it tasted like pure sugar and couldn’t taste anything else.

Also, it’s absolutely ridiculous that they have a different gift cards for online and in store. I’m stuck with an online gift card, and all I wanted to do was buy some beans. Now I’m waiting days for them to tell me that my beans are ready for pick up at the store, when the literal beans I ordered are just sitting on the shelf at the exact same store…

Great coffee, amazing hot chocolate, awesome food, but ridiculous prices. An almond croissant should not cost 7 dollars, nor should oat milk cost a dollar. It is what it is, but 21 dollars has never been spent so quickly.

The baristas know what they are doing and can really talk shop. Best coffee I've found in Canada! Thank y'all for being so welcoming!

I love this coffee and trying to do online purchasing with bulk bean for $130+ from online and got error using the discount code. Tried many times with discount coupon but the website is informing me that it has been used with my account with failed transaction. I called customer service and one lady picks up the phone. Lady on the phone cannot answer a simple question, but telling me that the transaction has failed and write a email so manager can investigate. I have asked another coupon that does 10% off, but she doesn't know about coupon nor any information. She insisted me to try another order yet again, I asked for another coupon code. Why would you even have a phone number if you cannot answer simple question regarding discount code on online service? Very disappointed.

So I tried with different email address and still getting the coupon code error. Not worth trying online purchase. I love your coffee, this is VERY Disappointing.

De mello cafe is just weird, several years ago this was the only place I go for hand drip coffee and they discontinued it. Since then I only go there for their Tiramisu as personally I think that is the best Tiramisu in town. Recently they stopped selling Tiramisu, so I have no reason to go there anymore.

Nice coffee and decorations. I bought a cup of cappuccino and Sat there for an hour, watching people pass by. What an enjoyable sunny afternoon. I bought a pack of "butterfly kiss" (light and fruity favour) coffee beans. There were lot of choices.

Amazing coffee with both light and dark roast variations. Their baked goods are delicious.

I visited for the first time after seeing all the positive reviews and loved the coffee. They even sell a variety of beans! The staff were very nice and answered all my questions. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because the staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed.

I recently visited this cafe and really enjoyed the quality of their drink as well as the atmosphere. They even roast their own beans and sell a variety of them. The only thing I noticed was that although the staff were really nice, they seemed understaffed and very overwhelmed.

Their light roast specialty beans are truly unique! I have tried a few other roasters, but none of them offered anything remotely close to what you find at De Mello!
Only downside is that staffs are overwhelmed with work and you may spend a surprising 10-15 minutes to just pay for a bag that you have picked up in 5 seconds.

A unique coffee shop with a one-of-a-kind interior. Nice little place to enjoy some chitchat with your friends, or just grab some coffee to go.

They also have a section in the back where you can but merchandise and coffee beans.

Staff are also quite friendly and welcoming.

Would highly recommend!

I've ordered coffee from this place many times. I usually drink flat white or light roasted black brewed coffee. The place is good. If you are a barista and know about coffee, then for you, as for me, the best would be the guy who has badges on his apron. This guy makes really good coffee. The rest are not bad but cannot be compared with him.

My goto place for coffee. Recently I bought bake goods for an office event, and it was a hit!

The butter coconut scones were yum!

I exclusively drink espresso as my coffee. I love how serious they take it here, it’s strong smooth and so far the best espresso I’ve had in TO.

The coffee is pretty good, the service is friendly if a little slow. The shop at the back is cute. The atmosphere is either funky or unfinished, not 100% sure.

Decent coffee. Probably the best option for this part of Yonge, given lack of any other good coffee options in the area. Coffee is usually not very hot, and consistency can vary depending on the person making it.

The coffee here is great, but seating is very limited.

There used to be seats in the back, but it's been converted to a shop to sell their beans and swag.
