Dean's Home Hardware

This is my go-to hardware store in Port Sydney. They have a good selection of things you may need, and also some cool home decor. Their customer service is top notch and employees are always available to help you out. I just wish they had lumber, but that's okay.

The 2 gentlemen whom I had dealings with today were wonderful. Helpful. Nothing but great things to say. They helped me out to my vehicle with my purchases etc. Customer service as it should be.

HOWEVER, the younger woman who was on cash stood there EATING while I had a couple of simple questions and required assistance. She acted as if I was bothering her! Unbelievable! Kailee is her name and I will refuse all future dealings with her. Did I happen to mention that 4 of the items I purchased (totalling over $200) were rung in at twice the price? Then? No apology. Again, she was ANNOYED WITH ME!

I spent hundreds of dollars today and I could not wait to leave as this person disgusted me so much.

Sadly, it seems that the younger generation has absolutely no work ethic. It's disheartening at best.

Awesome shop with small town friendliness and helpfulness, and if they don't carry they'll most likely get it for You!

LOVE this store! So helpful and accommodating. Saves me driving to Huntsville for bird seed as well. Dean and the staff are amazing.

This Home Hardware is my favorite. Just bought a hot water heater the other day here and was helped by the owner himself. Such friendly people here and I've never had an issue yet. Fingers crossed.

Eventhough it is not a very big store, the store carries mostly everything one needs. People are very helpful and courteous.
