Disappointed! Have had the couch for less than a year and the cushion has an indent and the pillow has balled up and is now useless. My old Ikea couch has held up better.

Purchased a leather love seat from DR in April 2023 and took delivery of it in late May 2023. Purchased from DR because of Canadian content and what appeared to be good construction and exceptional warranty. I gave this product a 1 star because the construction and fit was very good. However, during the first month of purchase I noticed that my brand new black leather sofa looked 30 years old.simply horrible and distressing. The leather on top of the cushions stretch beyond belief and the seating area started to ripple and pool. Reached out to S. L, the DR Hamilton area sales rep (this is what the store rep advised) and was told that the ripples, stretching and pooling was normal for the DR product and there was nothing he could do except for sending me some extra Dacron batting / filling that I would need to install myself between the leather and cushion foam. So much for the 5 year warranty and customer service. As a result of the poor response from the Area Sales rep, I cancelled a subsequent furniture order from the company. It was worth losing the deposit. Bottom line.distressed about the poor quality leather pooling / ripples. $2000 down the toilet and it is a look unacceptable to me.and only after 1 month. I have no option to sell it for $200 (who will buy it looking like that?) or give it away to a shelter.

Super positive experience with quality and service. Because things aren't always perfect, it is important to work with a company that stands behind the quality of their work and makes sure they rectify any customer concerns until things are perfect. When I questioned the difference in leather textures on my new sofa, Decor-Rest immediately and without question or cost, remade the cushions. They deliver 100% customer satisfaction.

I’ve had my Decor-Rest sofa since 2013 and love it so much. Just recently I ordered a matching end section to replace the chaise section. Visited Decor-Rest's factory in September of 2022 with Decor-Rest Sales Manager Sandy Anastassiou as my expert factory tour guide.

With Sandy explaining, it was fantastic seeing the traditional furniture building techniques mixed in with computerized leather-cutting lazers! With solid wood frames, quality sourced and tested leathers and fabrics, and the whole team methodically putting together chair and sofa, after chair and sofa of superior Decor-Rest furnishings, this was a great experience to walk through the steps of manufacturing quality furniture. The only letdown I had was I didn't see the sofa I had on order at the time being built while I was there! Though it did show up in time ;-)

It’s easy to support a Canadian company like Decor Rest. The quality and construction of their product is fantastic, the fabrics and leathers are gorgeous and they have a wide selection of styles so it’s easy to find something for a modern to traditional client. They’re make it easy and that’s why Decor Rest is my go to Canadian upholstery company!

Purchased a leather sectional couch (Decorest) back in 2018. We were told that the leather we were buying was good quality and would take a beating. 1.5 years later the leather stated to fade, become patchy and looks terrible today. We called to complain and they wouldn’t do anything other than give us the contact of someone who could “touch up” the leather. Compared to a leather IKEA couch we purchase in 2005, couches from this place is simply garbage. We are so disappointed.

Love their products and customer service.
We have had our couch for over 5 years now and it still looks as good as the day we got it. We have a dog that also loves the couch and basically lives on it. It is super easy to spot clean if needed.
Would definitely look to their products again in the future.

I have been sourcing furniture for my clients at Decor Rest for many years now. The styling, quality, selection and people make this a fabulous experience each and every time!

We purchased our new Decor-Rest Power Sofa and matching Loveseat with leather ottoman and LOVE IT! In addition, we purchased an additional sofa with a curved bumper and ottoman to compliment the sofa: "IT LOOKS FANTASTIC AND IS VERY COMFORTABLE". Overall, all the pieces are very comfortable and the quality is superb! My previous Sofa and Loveseat were from Decor-Rest and they lasted 15 years. The Loveseat is still in mint condition. If your looking for furniture, consider Decor-Rest: "You will not be disappointed". The quality is excellent and their products LAST!

My wife and I love all our pieces we have customized with the team at Decor-Rest. They are a team of true crafts people. IMO your team are true "Artisans" in the craft of comfort, design, durability, and lasting quality. A true Canadian gem and you have a faithful customer for life.

Quality has apparently gone down significantly during the last few years!
We purchased a custom Decor Rest sectional in our last home approx 5 years ago. It was so comfortable from day 1. We loved it so much that when we moved into our new house we ordered another sectional to fit the new space.

Once the order was confirmed we were told 4-6 months. We only received it almost 11 months later. Although it looks like what we ordered (colour and size is good) the couch itself is the LEAST comfortable couch we have ever owned. In fact, we have had guests comment on how hard and uncomfortable it is.

We followed up with the company to see if they used the wrong foam (firm instead of standard) But we were told that it was the standard foam and that the difference between this one and our previous one is likely that the foam doesn’t have a chance to breath in warehouse now before it is used - due to the supply and demand issues post Covid. Whatever the reason this is NOT a comfortable seat!
In addition, our previous throw pillows that came with were feather and great quality. The new ones are again hard and not comfortable.

We are extremely disappointed! Especially given the cost and almost 1 year wait - we were looking forward to having a comfortable sectional - we would have been better off getting a cheap one from a box store.

I do not recommend Decor Rest furniture. If you do purchase I suggest you only purchase the one you had opportunity to sit on in store (do not order custom or rely on the sample cushions in stores)!

Cushions ripped from the seam after only a couple of years. Already tried speaking to owners but no warranty and no help.

Very bad customer service experience and quality issues. Saved a lot to buy the loveseat and sofa from decor rest. It has some issues with manufacturing, been a month to have a solution for this, still waiting. Not happy and stressed each day. Have left you guys an email, hope we can have a solution

We are very disappointed with our decor rest sectional sofa, we paid a lot of money for a sofa that began pilling a few months in and hasn’t stopped 2 years later, garbage material and would not recommend this company as they refused to help us even after multiple emails and pics, people see it and are shocked, never again

I own 2 pieces of Decor-Rest furniture that I bought from from the Sears Home stores. I contacted Decor-Rest and explained my problem to them and they forwarded me to their customer relations department where I left a message detailing my issue. I got a call back the next day from the person that had been responsible for the Sears sales account. I was very surprised. When she understood my problem, she set about to solve it quickly and efficiently for me. I am sure I was well outside the warranty period but they stood behind their products. Their follow up during the process was impressive and they did what they said they would do and in the time frame they gave me. I am a very satisfied customer and will certainly buy their products again.

Took a factory tour today. So impressed with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail in every step of the process.

We bought a custom sofa from a company that went out of business shortly after we received delivery. We had an issue with the cushions being too firm and no where to turn so we contacted Decor-Rest directly. Ankush was was amazing. It took a while because of Covid and the lockdowns, but Decor-Rest came through. We love our sofa and love our new softer cushions. Decor-Rest makes such amazing products. My wife and I recently purchased 4 armchairs. 2 different styles. They are so well made. We are very happy with our purchase.
