Holiday party. Too many other functions that evening causing people jams in main foyer. Food was okay. Festive decor? Poor lighting to find entrance to parking.

My friend had a baby shower here, and it was a great spot. The staff was helpful and the food was great.

Was there for my friend’s debut (18th birthday) it was beautiful. There’s so many places to take pictures and halls for our dance practices.

It was a beautiful day for us to host our wedding day at Deer Creek. All of our guests were raving all day about how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the food was and the service! The team at Deer Creek is phenomenal.

Christina is definitely a rockstar! She has the sweetest personality and dealing with her put me at ease for the entire process. She's always very quick to reply - I'm the worst because I always think of questions at the last minute. She answered all of them quickly so that way I wasn't stressed! Everything was seamless and worked perfectly - there were no delays for anything. The day went off without a hitch!

I have loved deer creek for a long time but my last round yesterday was on Ruby and Diamond and I must say so many of the tee boxes were in brutal condition. Absolutely hacked up. On the south course also and uneven tee decks drive me nuts they need to fix that. Other than the mentioned I really do enjoy deer creek they just need to get conditions to a better place.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience with events at Deer Creek. I'm the director of events at my organization and have hosted corporate events/gatherings at many venues, and Deer Creek was unmatched. They were great to work with from the initial planning booking process, to planning the event, to actually executing everything. Ashleigh in the sales office and Melissa as the venue coordinator were phenomenal and so kind. Melissa went above and beyond to help me in the week leading up to our event to make sure everything was in place. The day of the event we had Pam as our maître d and she was so great to work with! She was super attentive and accommodating and made sure everything ran so smoothly. The bartending staff and the servers were professional and friendly. If you're considering working with this venue, I highly recommend it. Would book here again in a heartbeat.

First time at Deer Creek and I must say it was a beautiful experience. The room was spacious, the food delicious and the energy of the room was refreshing! Staff were so kind and welcoming.

Visited for a young woman job expo with my daughter. It was a wonderful experience. The whole property looks well kept and inviting.
The event was well planned out and ran well.
Did not have time to visit all the vendors but the ones we visited were amazing.

I am a wedding photographer that has working at Deer Creek multiple times. It is one of my favourite venues in the area and when it comes to the ceremony spot, reception layout and of course the grounds for photos, they are all perfect for photos. Can't wait until my next wedding in July that I will be documenting here!

Attended Connect Women Conference at Deercreek and it was fantastic. From the comfortable chairs, great breakfast spread and fantastic lunch. I have an allergy and it was handled very well with a delicious replacement meal.

It’s the first game of the season, the course was packed as expected. Conditions were better than expected with some bumpy fairways and tee boxes. Should be better in a month or 2. Perhaps many golfers were not in their A game as we had a few fly-over ball incidents that were too close for comfort. Pace was slow, a 4 hour 45 mins round was slow imo. But green fee was reasonable at $60 spring rate.

I have been so blessed during my career as a Wedding Officiant by the Deer Creek management and wonderful wedding staff in particular, but virtually their entire staff. I could never express properly how grateful I am to be a preferred vendor there. Thanks so much!

I was most recently here in May 2022 as a wedding photographer. It was the first time I've been back since they added a new ceremony area and renovated. It's such a beautiful venue and I would go as far as saying one of the best in the Durham Region. The wait safe and coordinators are so kind and helpful. Keep in mind because it is a golf course you are limited to where you can take photos due to safety. You have access to a golf cart to reduce walking time to different spots. Nearby photos locations are Greenwood Conservation Area, Heber Down Conservation Area and Imagination Park. Can't wait to be back!

We had our ceremony and reception at Deer Creek and were overall very happy with our venue choice. Since the venue is one of the biggest vendors you will be dealing with, we were very careful with this choice. We had toured and viewed a lot of wedding venues and decided to go with Deer Creek due to its ambience, cleanliness, package options, and responsiveness. Since our wedding was in October, we were looking for a ceremony space that had an indoor and outdoor option but still fit our vision. We fell in love with their colour palette and chandeliers and knew right away that this was where we were going to have our big day. We chose to do our wedding photoshoot here and the photos turned out amazing!

We worked closely with Madison during the whole process and she was very responsive, professional, organized, transparent, and made you feel really comfortable with any decisions that needed to be made.

The food served during our reception was pretty good. Great portions and options for your guests! The servers and bartenders were all really nice and respectful to our family and friends. One thing to note is that they do not serve shots, which a lot of people would usually expect at a wedding. This was not a deal breaker for us, but may be for other couples.
