Del Zotto Butcher Shop

Was there last Saturday to visit a friend in the area and ended up decided it to visit the butcher shop. We ordered some of the fresh sausages garlic and chipotle was the flavour we ended up going with. It bbq really good on the barbie. One of the staffs there mentioned Saturday November 25-26th they are celebrating their anniversary and having sale.
Will visit back and try out the Japan Wagyu beef.

Meat was spoiled last time I went there it smelt really bad the lollipop lamb chops he ran offered to give me a new batch that was coming in fresh in a couple days it was better now just went back today and got some horrible smelling fast fry’s and he tried to tell me they are fresh and that they don’t smell and gave us a hard time to get a refund disgusting will never go back there they don’t store their meat right how can they feel happy selling people spoiled product

Everyone who works there has been more than helpful. They provide me suggestions as to how I should cook various cut of meats.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. I try to visit weekly.
PS. The onion rolls near the cash register are off the hook. I use when making a steak sandie

Visited almost all the butcher shop near by.and finally got the spaducci.can’t wait to cook. Quick response over the phone and saved spaducci for me.

The only place I go to buy liver as I know their animals come from free-range and grass fed vendors that provide quality products from cared for animals.

The staff is very friendly and they work so hard (I never see anyone grumpy and not working at 100%).

This butchers was the best in town but they have changed hands and its the worst ove ever seen. Meat grey in color, way too much salt in their stuffed chicken legs. Steak tuff as old boots. Not a nice place to shop snymore

This location in particular is great as well. Excellent service with even the smaller and easily forgettable things. Can't beat the marinated steak from this place. Service has been great with each visit. My highest compliments to the staff and management.

Went in the butcher shop today and the staff is great very friendly great atmosphere. The meat unbelievable the size of cuts they give you are awesome. The deals are awesome too. If you want great meat go there

Definitely worth to try. Today i called and ordered fathers day special, but as i dont have big freezer. I asked manager if I can split the order for two week. He helped me and stored my half order at store freezer. Thank you so much. Very helpfull staff.

I have to say the atmosphere of the butcher shop is awful.

The meat looks worse than a grocery store. Ribs have little to no meat.

The staff yell at you when you ask questions.
They tell you that you have to order more (lb) than what you ask bc it's guaranteed to shrink.

I will never step foot in that store again.

Picked up meat here today. This place is always extremely clean and very well staffed. Everyone wants to serve you here and that’s a great feeling as it’s becoming harder to find such places. The quality of the cuts is great and the pricing while a tad high is still a good deal for what you get. Be sure to try the wings, its yummy.
They have this weekend BBQ pack that I buy and take up north before hanging with my friends. The quality is outstanding and love the location.

Amazing quality, prices and service. Everyone here is SO friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they enjoy working there which I love. 10/10 for everything! I won't shop anywhere else.

Reviews are bipolar with five stars and one star.

The reason being is that it is hit or miss with these guys. Sometimes I go in and the meat is questionable sometimes I go in and it's fine.

I go there for convenience, since it is the closest butcher shop to me.

One thing to know, is that no matter how fresh the chicken breasts are, the actual quality of the meat is poor. It doesn't cook well.

I am also convinced that anything that's about to go off, gets cooked in their Buffet.

First time I visited today.wow. I mean I wish I can buy all these delicious meat. I took a picture and send it to my wife and she got crazy.after a long time finally we got the best butcher shop in Barrie. Tried couple of meat.the cuts are 10/10.

They have got me has a customer great store clean amazing Meats and u must try there new coconut shrimps just out of this world

I bought a TBone steak there today, it was out of this world delicious and the prices are reasonable. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be back.

We ordered two tomahawk steaks from them last week for my birthday and few other items. Everything was beautiful, they were great and easy to deal with and our items were delivered on schedule. First time ordering from them, but will not be our last!

This place is the best! The quality of meat is unbeatable. Lots of options to choose from. They always have something new to try. The staff is friendly and always provide with great recommendations. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

It was my third visit to this place and i would like to say that they sell best variety of meat. I had family dinner last week and everybody loved the flavours and texture of the meat. There customer services is also very good, staff is knowledgable. Overall excellent experience, would definitely continue buying from them.

Amazing everything! Have bought their packages and they are great too, portioned how you want them and a great value. Both turkeys we ordered for the holidays were delicious! The service can't be beat!

Constancy is not there. I am unsure if there has been a change in ownership over the past few months but when they first opened it was my go-to place. Unfortunately that has recently changed. I have been disappointed on multiple occasions.

1. I purchased pre marinated spoiled chicken from them and didn't realize until it was cooked as it's hard to tell when there is a sauce on it.
2. I pre ordered 20 top sirloin steaks and they tried to charge me $6/lb more per pound than the actual price until I said something. Not to mention when I ordered them they asked me to call back and confirm with them in an hour? Then never answer the phone and when I showed up to pick up the order they did not have it started.
3. I pre ordered 40 pre cut pork cutlets. Thankfully I asked to see them before I left as I was very specific with the size I asked and they made them double the size, as well as half the cutlets were more fat than meat. I ended up only taking 20/40 that I had originally wanted.
4. I just went back in to get 2 thinly cut top sirloin steaks which I got that last week as well for $14.00. This week it cost $30.00. Just keep getting more and more disappointed.

Unfortunately I think this is the last straw for me. Which is disappointing to say as I was so happy with them months ago.

Just incredible cuts of meat, make for a delicious dinner every time! Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Will be back all the time!

Best burger I've had! Applewood smoked and so juicy! Steak sandwich was killer! Tender and so flavorful! And their sausages. Oh man! If you are looking for a great butcher, stop in!

We’ve also tried the rib eye steaks (amazing) and came back twice for the lamb spiedini. I highly recommend this butcher shop!
