Delicious Empanadas

Terrible customer service, the starters arrived at the same time as the main courses, they served us the food and 10 minutes later they brought us the cutlery, we asked a waitress and she forgot everything…. I asked for a tray paisa and they gave it to me with shredded meat that was not very fresh…. Lastly, we asked for a container to carry the ugly meat hahaha and the waitress gave the container to those next to us, those at the next table realized and gave it to us.
Everything is terrible, the worst 75 dollars wasted! First and last time!

Update: I have been a couple of times after my last review, and I can say the service has improved 100%. The food is still amazing.

Food is amazing truly Colombian taste, however the service is extremely slow and the servers can be very rude, we understand that they are busy with all the order however the service can be better.

Disappointed with this place: (Ordered chicken and beef empanadas. The chicken one was cold in the middle and tasted bad we ended up not eating it. The beef one was okay. The mains we ordered were decent but not of high quality the pork was hard and inedible and the beef was tough. Portions are generous for the price. Service was quick. Parking situation was horrible. Also they are not open 24 hours

Amazing Colombian beef patties. Really fresh, crunchy and huge for an affordable price. I felt like being in Colombia for sure. Please keep up such a fantastic and tasteful food options.

I'm very disappointed about this place. My opinion has totally changed and I think it is getting worse and worse. I went yesterday to order a patacon and they served my meal cold, it looked and tasted like I was eating something from two days ago or the day before. The last time I ordered the same dish and it was burned, they didn't even try to solve the issue or make things better.

This was in the past my favorite place to eat patacon but now the quality is very bad. Sorry, but you made me very UNHAPPY.

The place is a little crowded but the food is amazing. The service was great, it is good to have a place where you can feel at home. The empanadas and the patacones are my favorites!

The empanadas were great, crispy as crispy gets and all 3 flavors we tried were very tasty (chicken, beef & cheese). I went in near closing time but the service was still very friendly and they offered to make me a fresh batch if I waited a few moments. The only thing I didn't love is that the restaurant smelled a bit odd but I couldn't peg the smell, it wasn't that of food though.

I placed an order for my son’s birthday a week prior and when I went to pick them up on the day the lady at front said she was not aware of it. She told me to wait 20 mins and they would be ready so I asked for an empanada and a coffee. While I was waiting two guys came in and order empanadas and within seconds he asked for the waitress and showed her that the empanada was not fully cooked. He was right. When I got my order I immediately turned them over and they were not cooked well enough. You could see the frozen pieces on several of them. I told her I was not going to pay for something that was not cooked properly and she wanted to charge me anyway! I never got my coffee and I walked out. Horrible experience.

They have great food can't deny that. But went in just to get 2 juices (I tried calling ahead but no one answered) was told I had to wait 30mins for the juice because they had other orders. I get it if I was waiting for food but 30mins for 2 juices? Store was empty so I can only assume they were preparing online orders.

Great food at a good price. Just need to double check the orders. Very friendly. Great hot sauce and salsa. We ordered 30 Empanadas for a get together and they were hot and fresh. Everyone loved them especially the beef. Tip: pop the cheese empanadas in the oven so the cheese melts

Authentic food! I recommend the Corrientazo (you chose the protein, has rice, avocado and the beans soup. The only down it’s the service is very slow and make sure to check your receipt before paying.

Really delicious empanadas, for me the best Colombian empanadas in the whole GTA. Beef, chicken, cheese, vegetarian and Hawaiian. They also have other super yummy Colombian treats

I was really excited to try Delicious Empanadas empanadas but really disappointed after I did.

I was fortunate enough to be given a fresh chicken empanada which although bland tasting on the inside the shell was as it should be. In comparison the beef empanada and the was obviously not fresh. The shell was tough and chewy and rather tasteless. If I didn't know I ordered a beef empanada I would not know that there was beef inside of it. I did like the Hawaiian empanada the inside had nice flavor of ham and pineapple. But again the shell was tough and chewy signifying this was not a fresh product.

I also had an order of cassava which was a bit chewier than it should have been. And finally the chicharron.sadly it was over cooked. The skin or rind was crunchy but so was the meat which it should not have been.

The reviews of this place were all really good and like I said I was really excited to try it and in one way I'm glad I tried it because now I know not to go back and another way I'm disappointed that I went because I felt I wasted my money.

I should add though that it could have been the time of the day. Most likely most of the items I'd selected had been prepared earlier in the day and served fresher for lunch.

I was feeding someone from Columbia so it was kind of sad that I presented a disappointing meal.

After trying different restaurants in the city, I'm absolutely happy to have finally found a good Colombian place in Toronto,
Without a doubt they have the best empanadas. The plantains are delicious and the size is more than enough. I also recommend the calentao.
The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I’m giving this 5 stars review, and I'll be back soon!

My rating is based on the friendly staff. I ordered bandeja con carne, the food was ok. The beans were tasty, but the steak/eggs/plantain could use work. Cheese empanadas were good but empty.

Empanadas are delicious great service, you can sit on a little patio on the front. They have a very good Colombian menu
