Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront

Location was wonderful on the waterfront. Easy to walk to area shops and restaurants. Room was nice and updated. Comfy beds. Only complaint would be the parking. Luckily we found a close spot but the garage was extremely tight.

Comfortable rooms. Very pleasant staff. Great room views. Fantastic location. Would stay again for business or pleasure.

My third extended stay at this hotel this year, and the service is increasingly worse each time I am here.

Requested housekeeping and was told housekeeping needs to be requested a day in advance, but that they would change my towels and garbage. They did not change my towels or garbage. Asked again to have them changed, was told I could empty my garbage myself.

Broke a glass on the carpet and asked for that portion of the room to be vacuumed. Was not done.

Told the front desk about water on the floor in the stairwell as a potential slipping hazard. Nothing was done.

Parking is an exorbitant $25/night, but there are not enough spots for all guests, so some cars are parked offsite. No discount for the inconvenience.

Rooms are fine, but nothing special. Loud, antiquated air conditioners. Nice view but overpriced.

It’s merely a bed under the roof to sleep overnight, you cannot expect anything more than that.

For the extravagant price my spouse and I paid, not the best overall experience.
Friendly staff, good for information and give the appearance of a good customer experience however we found when push came to shove the staff were very eager to flake off. We happen to have booked a room next to a large wedding that was taking place and as we slept in the luxurious king sized bed, our phone went off letting us know there was a noise complaint in the room. After going down to the lobby at 1145pm and explaining the noise came from another room (the wedding party) I was met with hems and haws over the reason for my room being called and the guest attendant left me at reception and never returned. So for a $350+ room and no breakfast included. Move along. B-

Very friendly service. Reliably good food for our meeting. Room was clean and comfortable. Great views and great location.

Je sais qu'il n'y a pas de service aux chambres en pandémie, mais j'aurais bien aimé que la femme de chambre quand je la croise dans le corridor elle me donne des serviettes propres, des verres et du café.
Sinon très bien situé, au cœur de l'action. Chambre propre.

Stopped by to see a friend. Beautiful room with incredible views of the harbour. Literally a wall of windows. Priced accordingly $$$$

We were lucky enough to have our wedding here in July and it turned out amazing, the staff were very accommodating even with all the craziness going on (general wedding insanity plus covid) and they made it a wonderful weekend that was overall stress free thanks to them. The dinner at Aquaterra was perfect and SURPASSED expectations. Thank you Brian, Harold and all staff there!

The location is fabulous, everything was within walking distance. The parking garage was too tight. I was worried about my luxury vehicle getting dinged due to too small parking spaces. I did find the hotel very dated…except the lobby - it was nice. The hallways were blah, felt very old and tired. I had a corner suite on the 1st floor. There was nothing luxurious about my room the decor was mediocre. I guess I paid $$$ for the view. My “view” was the best part…. It was incredible. The corner windows overlooked the harbour…nice view of the water and all the boats. What would have taken this room to “fabulous” would have been nicer decor, new windows…. The windows need to be replaced and the addition of a balcony rather than looking into a rooftop. This hotel is all about location, location, location Rating on location only I’d give it a 5 star, hotel a 3 star from me!

Great location downtown on the waterfront. The hotel itself is showing it's age and is mediocre. The staff ranges from very friendly to incompetent. Our king bed waterview room was small and the bathroom extremely small. Parking is $25 night and can opener tight. Meh, passable stay.

Very lovely hotel, but had to ask for clean towels and drinking glasses. 2 broken ice machines.

Wonderful location by the water and walkable to the waterfront walk and shops nearby. Room was clean and spacious, we will be back!

When attempting to book 3 night stay price said 159.00 per night so total would be 600+ for 3 night stay however when clicking on book the 3 night stay price jumped up at slightly over 1100.00. Absolutely insane price so clearly canceled the booking.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, customer service was great and always very polite. Aqua terra as room service is an amazing plus that’s absolutely incredible! Creme brûlée and the beef was amazing

This is in a great location to visit Kingston. The views over the lake and marina from our corner room were great. The room was spacious and well laid out.

SPLENDID! This Delta has a perfect location, and all rooms are waterfront. The entrance and lobby are a bit small and awkward, but the service is kind and quick, and rooms are renovated and clean. Kingston is a beautiful city. Can’t wait to stop by again.

Excellent location right on the waterfront and downtown. Rooms are well appointed - cozy. Great harbour views. Indoor pool with jacuzzi. Restaurant dining on site. Entrance to hotel through garage parking.

The location of the hotel is great but just about everything else is mediocre. The bathtub in our room barely drained, there was almost no water pressure in the shower, the parking fees are unreasonably high, and our room didn't get cleaned after our first night even though we were leaving the room just as the room right across from us was being cleaned! For the amount of money you pay a room at the Delta Kingston, you can definitely find nicer elsewhere. With that being said, all of the staff we talked to were very nice and the check-in and check-out process was fast and easy.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean. Our corner room was absolutely amazing with the water view. The hotel left us a nice card to wish us a happy anniversary with a nice plate of delicious dessert and fresh berries. What a beautiful touch! Definitely will be going back soon.

Just spent two nights at this lackluster hotel.not only were the amenities lacking in the room, no water, no teas, enough coffee for one cup and they charge you for parking on top of your stay.room service food was cold and the deserts stale and old.do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.next door is nicer

We had an amazing experience during our stay at the Delta Hotel by Marriot Kingston.
There staff were very kind caring and professional.

The stay was amazing other than the extra blanket we recieved was covered in a huge stain. I've been trying to email pictures to front desk as the attendant ask but as of yet I keep getting it returned. No response not cool at all.

Been here twice - once for a wedding, once for a work event. Good food, Grandview Room is spacious but cool. Staff is very professional and pleasant.

Place was beautiful and the view of the water was amazing. The Price jump was doubled because of holiday witch was ridiculous and the pool area had a very nasty smell to it.

Stayed for two nights. The restaurant was amazing (a bit pricy though). Location is great. Would definitely go back.

Staff was friendly, lots of restaurants and bars near by. Odd accessibility to get into the hotel but would reccomend to others.

We ate at the restaurant only which was Outstanding! The chef does a steak to die for. My wine was really good (a red from the region). We both shared yummy sides. We stayed for coffee and desert and worth it! Service was on spot. Would have gave this 5 stars easy but decor is dated and quality of food deserves white tablecloths.

The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the Waterfront area of Kingston. Parking is a breeze if you're staying at the hotel quick in and quick out. The restaurant is very good. They have a nice array of options that are all very well prepared. The staff really goes above and beyond to be friendly and cater to your requests. We visited with family & everyone felt well cared for. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very well maintained as well.

We celebrated my step-son's wedding this past weekend at the Delta and it was immensely successful. The ceremony was in the 5th floor room, with a beautiful view of City Hall, RMC, Confederation Basin. I was concerned the room would feel sterile, but it worked quite well, felt cozy, and suited a ceremony.

The dinner was in the spacious Harbourview Room, with its spectacular 3-sided view of the Lake, Wolfe Island, Fort Henry. The bar service and the table service were prompt, professional, responsive; the food was very good; the sound systems in both 5th floor and 6th floor rooms flawless (not one incident of feedback, the mics very sensitive).

I was very impressed with the whole experience and would recommend the Delta highly for such an event.

The banquet room on the fifth floor is nice, but the hotel should do something about the heating/cooling so that the windows are not all fogged up all night. It would have been nice to look out over the water! Otherwise the food and service was good. The dessert - a lemon meringue tartelette - was not the greatest. Nevertheless, the room was clean and comfortable. I found it a bit odd that the main entrance to the hotel was through the parkade, but that's pretty minimal. I did not spend the night at the hotel, however, and did not see a room.

During our stay at the Delta my wife and I were on the second floor with a beautiful view of the harbour and St. Lawrence River right outside our window. The room was nicely furnished and well laid out. Room service thoroughly refreshed the room between nights and the check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The one thing worth mentioning is that the parking is very tight - we had a mid-sized sedan and struggled at times - so I wouldn't recommend trying to park a truck in the parking structure without a good spotter as a minimum. All in all, I would certainly recommend the Delta to anyone staying in Kingston who is looking for a great view of the water and likes a hotel close to shops and restaurants in the old district.

Our mini honeymoon getaway was excellent at the Delta Hotels by Marriott. We got a great waterfront view of Kingston. The service was amazing and room service was good. We had their breakfast and a midnight snack from their downstairs restaurant, which was delicious. We recommend staying at this hotel for any event.

It's ok, had a room on ground floor on top of the water. Maybe that's why is was very humid.
But the view and location is perfect.

The rooms are nice and it's on the water which is lovely BUT they screwed up our reservation although my husband personally went their two weeks in advance to be sure we got the room we wanted to watch the fireworks on Canada Day. Very disappointing

Lovely hotel with a fantastic view at the waterfront downtown Kingston, Ontario. Excellent service and hospitality by the staff and management that made us feel really welcomed. I would most definitely be staying here again.

Lovely view, clean room and friendly staff. Hotel restaurant had excellent reasonably priced meals. Close to Princess St.which has a great variety of fun shops, restaurants and coffee spots!

Service was fantastic, food was good except my steak was a little over done, but everything else was so good it didn't matter that much.

The hotel services and room have been excellent. Like all hotels in Kingston, it isn't cheap during high season. The only annoyance has been that walking into the hotel requires that you walk into and through the parking garage. It isn't the prettiest entrance to an otherwise lovely hotel. Also the parking spaces are a bit tight.

The Staff at the Front Desk & Restaurant, were Very Friendly and Accommodating. The service was Excellent! The Location, was Perfect! The Water View, was beautiful! The room booked for Four (4) but prepared for two. The room itself was adequate - the bed sheets had a few stains, the CARPET is OLD AND NOT CLEAN properly! The bathroom had hair on the floor!
We stayed on the Second Floor - the Carpet on Hallway was DIRTY and had major OLD STAINS - discusting! The Linnen Room was opened, OMG, we were appalled! The room was overall DIRTY - the floor was dirty, and the dry wall was coming apart. The shelving which holds the Linen, was Dirty - NOT ACCEPTABLE for Hygiene and todays standards (we took pictures)! For the COST, and today's expectations/standards this Hotel requires serious renovations, and better Cleaning staff! EAgasee.

The Delta is always my preferred stay in Kingston! The facilities and rooms are always clean and comfortable. Aside from the fantastic location right downtown, the views of the water can't be beat!

Dinner was amazing. Not a huge menu, but not one was anything less than wowed by their meals. Our server was fantastic, super knowledge, very personable, very keen to detail. Will absolutely be going back.

Rooms were small, nice bedding and matress, No microwave in room. Pool was nice and warm, but a little small for lap swimming. Food was great. Service was standard.

The staff was friendly and helpful, hotel very clean. The hotel was perfectly located for walking around the downtown. The view from our room was great!
