It's always a nice time visiting and enjoying some dissert but now look I understand it was busy but like the sever we had he sat us down then kept us waiting I said something he's like oh oh sorry then another sever comes over and takes care of us and cash out mean while the original sever we had was to busy sever other customers the prices are over the roof too

Amazing atmosphere …. The whole rating depends on what you ordered actually and I enjoyed the desserts for sure

Decent menu, a little pricey, but great portions and real quality made desserts. The layout is colourful and has a vibrant feeling.

I think over the years as the menus changed and they became more popular, the quality of the food decreased and price per item has increased. It is always busy no matter when you go but the service is still prompt and great. They do have a variety of options and it is still a great dessert place if you are in the area!

Amazing experience! We ordered the Cocoa Uno and the cake was usual, delicious! We substituted the vanilla ice cream with strawberry ice cream and added fresh strawberries. Best decision ever, the ice cream had a great strawberry flavour.

Walked right in. Great service and the servings were excellent! One of the better locations in Ontario. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back again.

I have been going to demetres for years. The food and service is always great. They have a great selection of dessert items, there is something for everyone! What I also really like is they will add new items to their menus each season, but they also have some go to items that are always available. One of my favourites is the Moo La La crepe!

The crepe was great choice, the hot chocolate was just ordinary. The waiter was very helpful and friendly.

No physical distancing between tables and didnt check vaccine status. Our server left after our food came and there was no staff to cash us out.

It literally started off bad. I should have left but I was meeting friends there, and I haven't been to demetres since before covid and we use to go ALL the time. As soon as you walk in there is a sign that says seat yourself so i went over to the table that my friends were already at, but my husband had reminded me that we probably have to show our ID'S at the front so I went back over and showed my ID. Then we waited at the table for about 10 mins. The waiter came over and asked us if we were ready to order. But we haven't even gotten the menus yet or even asked for drinks. We then found out their menu is now online and u have to scan a QR code. Well that would have been nice to know. After that we had asked for refills on our water twice and no one came back at all, then after we had finished we waited for our bills and again no one came back so we went up front and asked if we can just pay there. They were packed, every table was full. Is it full capacity already? Like I could touch the guy sitting by me at the next table. I'm so glad we were not there long cuz there was so many people I started to feel uncomfortable. I will not come back at all. So disappointing

Nice quick service I haven't been to this location for a while. I love the new interior design& lighting.

Love their collection of desserts. Their crepes are perfect for someone who can't consume too much sweet. Amazing atmosphere and quick service. Very clean and their idea of handling the menu is admirable.

My friends and I went there around 10: 45 pm on Sunday. We didn't realise it was closing at 11 pm. We had still called around 10: 25 pm and informed we were four people and on our way. After reaching there, the main manager asked us to keep our orders ready as the kitchen was closing, which was understandable. The order was placed very roughly on our table. We tried to finish our food quickly so as to leave soon and not trouble them any more. They started switching off the lights while we were still sitting on the table finishing our food. This was really insulting. I hope @Demetres Burlington realise their mistake and improve their service. Thanks.

Demetres is my favorite place, however, this specific location has some issue with their ice-cream. I mostly order Piece Talks and the white chocolate ice-cream is always crystallized. After complaining they fix it (not sure how) but it becomes too melty. I would prefer Oakville or Mississauga location as they never have this issue.

Never been disappointed. Great desserts and the vibe is chill. We had the Tongue Depressor waffle dessert and Choc This Way sundae.

Every time i order online, they gonna make you for 10 min or so.then they will cancel the order which is so annoying. Not going to this stupid restaurant again! They cancelled my or many times

Great time over all, only minor grip is the crepes are alot smaller than they used to be when I last visited a few years ago but overall great service and food.

Consistently good.love it! I recall visiting the oakville location a couple of years ago pre covid. This place is awesome for deserts and always has decent sized portions which are great for sharing. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for years! This location specifically. Service is always good with delicious desserts! I moved from out of town further away and we have nothing like this down here. Every time I’m back in town I always try to come at least once or twice! M’y all time fave is the moo lala with a crepe on top as well! Had to go a little light this time ;) overall hands down the best crepe and waffle dessert ️

How long do you have to sit at a table to be served… with a waiter passing by our table 3 times and than standing and talking to other staff while we are still sitting at a table waiting to be served… also sitting near a family of covidiots not respecting physical distancing and making out in public… yes, parents who seem to be there with daughter or son with girlfriend or boyfriend just kissing their face off… got up and left … bad service!

Nice vibes and elegant decoration. The desserts are spectacular as usual. Waiting for new flavors and new menu items

Owners are great! Very well maintained and clean store. They were able to accomodate our orders, for a half waffle. Highly recommend the Leige Waffle

I ordered a ice cream sundae and unfortunately the ice cream was crystallized and had a freezer burnt taste.

This Demetres is amazing! All the food comes in large portions and tastes fantastic. The manager Rob also went above and beyond with my order. He offered exceptional customer service which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I find that this branch is always a level above the others in the Halton region. Great service and equally good deserts.

Staff are great. Place was almost at capacity on the patio but they were very well organized and food was FAST. Kyle L & Girl at the front (no name sorry!) were very nice.

It's been highly disappointing that in this pandemic time when businesses are looking for customers, and you guys don't care. For half n hour, I tried to place an online order which is the only way we can buy anything at the moment, and your service is closed before 1 hour of closing the store. I tried calling the store ten times no one is picking up the call. Online it shows until 11 pm, and I have been trying to order something since 9.30. This is my favourite location, and I come from Grimsby to enjoy the flavours, but it seems like customers are not that important for your business.

The Burlington location has the sweetest (pun intended) staff. The Interstellar (strawberries, banana, Nutella on a crepe (or waffle) and whipped cream) and their cakes are my favourite. So so good! Highly recommend

This is best dessert restaurant I have ever been to. I tried a different menu item today and it was made to perfection like everything else I ate here.

Desserts at Demetres are quite consistent, but this location is much better than the ones I’ve tried in Oakville and Mississauga, from the cleanliness and customer service point of view.

I do Uber Eats from here often and the night time manager on the weekends is the best! I don't know your name but the couple of times I spoke to you about my Nutella crepe with extra Nutella and whipped cream you have always been accommodating. Service is great and I appreciate you always wanting to make my experience the best it can be.

This is one of my favourite dessert places. Everything I've tried has been out of this world! The portions are definitely big enough to share. The inside is decorated really nice. We love it and will continue to come back.

One of my favourite dessert places ever! With lots of options in either crepe or waffle I always end up trying something new. The staff is very kind and have decent knowledge of the food served. Very happy with each visit.

Very good atmosphere also being this was the first time here, I tried a dish that was recommended by the waitress Elena special it's her special dish she has created I really believe you guys should add this to your menu even tho I didnt actually try a dish their I tried this amazing waitress dish I think it could be up their in the top 3.

The place I visited once with friends and now its habit for me to visit it every weekend. Reason is the quality of food, staff and the atmosphere.
Just a recommendation: visit a bit late on weekends to avoid the waiting time.

It was my first time there & I loved it there. The customer service was absolutely outstanding. It is a very busy place so I do recommend going early on a weekend.

My family and I are very disappointed with Demetres. We ordered a few dessert plates and after leaving my tongue felt tingly and weird. I had called the store soon after to ask if any of their ice cream had alcohol in it and to my surprise the person on the phone said “All of our ice cream do not have alcohol except the vanilla flavour”. And of course our plates came with vanilla ice cream. Not only is it a sin in our religion to have any form or percentage of alcohol, but we were not notified neither does it say on the menu anywhere. And to note my daughter is 3 years old and had it as well.

This is not right and absolutely wont be visiting again. I had to put at least one star but id say thats for the presentation and our server. I guess we will continue to drive a bit farther to Dspot in the future.

I now have type I and type II diabetes after eating here. Jokes aside, their desserts are delicious. Moo La La pictured here. The names on the menu are also hilarious. Would recommend the crepe 100%, don’t forget to ask for whipped cream.

My boyfriend and I just waited 20 mins for a table, only to find out the party of 6 who got there 15 mins after us! We’re to be seated and served first because they had a large table open up.

I would have gladly shared a table with two other couples have been given the option.
When I made a complaint, they looked at me and said those tables are for large parties.
So i gave them the suggestion of grouping couples. Owner then looks at me, you can do that if you want?

Well seeing as you’ve been open long enough, one maybe have a better system, and two have some better customer service skills.

We will not be returning.

Last time i was here, the server told me that everything was halal (like in Mississauga), however the second time.i came here i was told that all the cheesecakes contains gelatin, which is what i ordered last time! The menu should make this clear! The servers should know better too.

So awesome! The food is delicious and good value for your buck. Nice atmosphere, the staff are wonderful! I cant wait to come back.

The decor of this place is just beautiful. It's spacious and feels refreshing. The food ofcourse is absolutely delishhhhh. I am a fan of their waffles!

Delicious and affordable desserts that cater to many different tastes. You CAN mix and match items. Almost always busy and wait times can be 15-45min even in the winter.

I always enjoyed desserts here. Parking is easy and their interior is well done. Servers are friendly.

Only one thing I would ask them to change is the water. Who serves tap water these days? At least add some lemon in your water please.
