No need to go again.
The interior is aged.
The wait was ridiculous.
Even there were free tabels. Offered to clean them up my self. Wouldn't take us in. The group behind us got a table (also hängend been on the wait list) my husband and on of my kids had some trouble with their stomachs after.
The wait for the desserts took quite a bit, shame I didn't take count there.
The seating guy was ruff the servant OK but wouldn't get out of his way.
On top of it it's pricy.
Boys bathroom must have been horrible girls were not clean either.

Pretty bad management there and they are over working their employees pretty bad environment to be in

Service is bad you can tell the workers are overworked been coming here for years and just recently noticed a decrease in service newer management team is doing something wrong.

Highly bad service. There were only few tables filled. The staff was just wondering here and there around the kitchen. They still made us wait 20 mins. Don’t know what was going on.

We went in for a birthday celebration. The person who took us to a table in the middle of the floor. We asked to be seated by the window. She told us that she couldn’t give away a table for four when we were 2 people. The restaurant have several empty tables plus outside tables. I would have understood had they been busy. The lack of customer service is terrible. We won’t go back there. We found a new dessert place tonight. We won’t be going back or recommend the establishment to anyone.

Good quality, wish they have the prices and plate picture added to the menue, quantity is smaller compared to couple of years ago.

We stopped for a quick takeout while briefly stoping in town to get a quick sweet fix, while waiting for another appointment we had to rush over to. Matthew was our amazing server and made our short experience very personable, will be now returning to this location because of his friendly attitude, and quick service! The chocolate icecream was awesome n loved the cheesecake. Thanks so much Mathew

I only gave 3 stars as my boyfriend was keep staring at one of the waiters. That was unpleasant!

Amazing! Food 10/10! 4 stars because the food takes a while to come but other than that it’s amazing!

The desserts here are tasty but the portion sizes are just too big. We shared this and still didn't finish it. Would be nice to have smaller portions for a cheaper price.

The options available are just fabulous if u r an icecream person, the one who is up for trying the flavours in various ways, like a mocktail of icecream. Then yes please visit them.

You guys got my order wrong! I asked for 2 splitsonians with dulce de leche ice cream. I got vanilla ice cream instead. I just can't be bothered to call and speak to staff who literally don't care to fix basic issues that are All from their end. All they say is Sorry, sorry ma'am. That's it. The consequences are left for the poor patron to bear. Your quality and standards are just down the toilet Demetres Milton. At least care a little towards the customers' order and their hard-earned money and understand your poor attitude does not serve your retention.

What a chill place! The reviews on here are quite false about this joint.

The servers didn't make us wait 40 mins. Nobody was racist. Service was efficient and the staff was friendly and attentive! The banana pieces were perfectly cut.

What more could you ask for?

Servings portions were reduced, even the chocolate cake fudge with no ice cream now. And smaller cake. I guess u think people wont notice this.

Desserts were excellent. We were told at arrival that service could be a little slow as they were understaffed but our food came in pretty quickly. We’ve been here before and it’s one of our favourite places to go right after watching something at the movie theatre. Highly recommend

Extremely slow and poor service with extraordinary wait time despite available tables. They need to hire more staff for better management. It took us nearly 10 min to have some one notice us to register us on wait list. Then another 40-45 min in line. We even had to wait for the server for 10 min to take our order. And then for it to be served took another 15-20 min. Spending 2 hours as effort is not good customer service. There was only one person taking the wait list registrations and wiping down the tables. And only one server for all tables.also the utensils were not clean. Hygienic issues

It is advised to have online check ins (reservation).

The server named Jessica is racist and Islamiphobic, they must be having other shades of racism. A famous YouTuber reported about this on his Instagram handle as well!

They seem pretty short staffed. One server and pretty slow. Person over the counter was extremely rude. We decided to have our drinks to go instead of dining in. Tossed them half way anyways.says enough about this venue.

One thing I can't stand is when customers are ignored either standing in line and/or sitting at the table trying to get the service attendant's attention. The service there is atrocious because the people working there think that they are doing the customers a favour by serving them. I'm also very confused why it takes so long to cut a price of cake, or scoop a cup of ice cream. They are not making (cooking) these items of food. The service should be lightening fast with the amount of people working (saying it lightly) there. I gave them 2 stars because the food is good; once they decide to bring it to your table.

Today for the first time I ordered takeout from here. I tried their The Last Straw - Belgian Waffle.
Loved it. Waffles and ice cream were so fresh, delicious and tasty. Ice cream portion is too big and can be shared by 2-3 people. Staff is very friendly. Great dessert place. Definitely will be ordering from here more often.

By far, one of the best places ever visited to havd desserts! Their fluffy waffles were a BOMBSoftest waffles ever had The peppermint hot chocolate was also very soothing. Service was quite fast. Never knew about this place before, will keep going back to try their variety of other yummy desserts.

Having said that, definitely a place to go for desserts. Would recommend sharing but have some creative offerings and never disappoints. Well accessible, clean and ample seating, easy parking etc.

Bad service, had been waiting with my family for more than 40 mins for my order and service keep saying 5 mins more. After that I was served with a fly on my ice cream. The top of everything! "Super" service. Very disappointed: (

Food was good, lots of options and flexibility with mixing and matching. Service was abysmally slow, and none of the kitchen staff was wearing hair nets which was kinda gross.

I come to Demetres pretty often sometimes 3-4 times a week to get waffle desserts to go for my family or for my co workers, the portions used to be really good and consistent and the past few times the ice cream portion has really decreased which is upsetting and not as satisfying. It would be great if all portions could be weighed or something because if each waffle comes to about $21 or so I think its only fair to get proper portion sizes.

Great time outdoors. Ordered a beverage and it had missing ingredients so I was a tad disappointed that it wasn't mentioned upon ordering. But overall the crepes were amazing and the company even better.

Very rude waitress who was helping us today, Monday July 12th at 7: 30 pm. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. She also asked my husband in a rude way if my 5 year old can sit still on the table. We ended up leaving without ordering.

The food at demetres is always bomb, but i want to specifically shout out our server, jordan (i think that was her name? It was sunday evening and her section included the tables closest to the washroom). Being a server myself, i know how hard it can be to handle a party of 12+ fifteen year olds, and jordan did a phenomenal job keeping her cool and making sure her other tables were still taken care of.my boyfriend and i got everything we needed in a timely manner and from a guest perspective, she didn’t seem weeded at all.i hope she gets a chance to see this feedback because she’s doing a great job out there! <3

I have only ever ordered from them through UberEats, but they never disappoint!
Everything is delicious every single time. Even in take out, their presentation is amazing and they always leave a Thank You in some way on the bag. I love that I can add extras to my orders. I will definitely keep ordering from them.

I have tried their waffles before it has always been an amazing experience. Only this combination of brownie and ice cream was a bit dry today.

Literally my go-to dessert place! This is great for hangouts, dates, etc. The employees are all lovely. I always order my customized crepe and it never fails to disappoint me. So obsessed! Def will come back 1000x times here haha!

Food was yummy and service was fast! I felt safe on the patio as the tables were spaced apart well and staff were taking precautions. I have to take off one star for environmentalism - I get that the menus are paper so they are single use for safety but they should be recycled responsibly, not thrown into garbage after. A lot of paper was wasted and it was disheartening to see.

It's a strange mix of customer service, we came in here for a late night date, it was her birthday so I asked the staff on the side if they had any special birthday items, they didn't so I didn't think anything of it.

Even though there were almost no people we waited at least 12 minutes after we sat down to have our order taken. But when they did bring out our drinks and food they provided a nice birthday treat, 2 candles which was a big plus! I didn't even think they'd remember.

Food tastes great, but way to rich for late nights. Of course we'll be back.

It was a total new style and taste of all the desserts I have tried.
Definitely visiting soon for trying other delicious items from the menu.

Ordered a slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake, it was really stale. Would not recommend ordering anything that isn't freshly made at Demetres

Found a dead bug in my Pomme Pilot. Not to mention I got incredibly sick in the evening after consuming half of the pomme pilot. It’s obvious Demetres sold me bad food. I’m absolutely disgusted

Always a great place to visit and I love their creative menu item names. This is my go-to place when I have people visiting from outside the country (before COVID of course). Their waffles are huge and I personally think they’re big enough to split (I can’t eat it alone). The milkshakes are also delicious. Great New York Stuyvesant cheesecake and hot brownie with ice-cream!

Worst Experience!

I went to Demetres yesterday. Though table of two was empty for like an hour still the employee denied dinning. On top of that when I ordered red velvet cake I was disappointed to see reduced quantity.

This is my last time. Bye bye Demetres.

All favorite go to for sugar fix. Best waffles. Tried a new one today belgian waffle unbrulevable with coffee ice cream. It's to die for. Also ordered chocolate mousse cheesecake which was yummy too. Definitely recommended place

Delicious ice cream. They were very collaborative when changing oyr mind on the menu. The only thibg I missed was to be able to find something salty. This place has only for sugary recipes.

I love what they have down with the place! Completely revamped. Brand new place with the fancy chairs and framed gigantic pictures! Their rose flower wall for pictures is a great touch!
The desserts are amazing as always. Downfall, their cappuccino is too small, used to have two sizes but now just the one. Expensive and not satisfying.
Should Bring back the larger cappuccino for those of us who enjoy it.

I absolutely love going here! I've tried a few different items in their menu but I always go back to Cocoa Ono (a chocolate fudge cake with honey vanilla ice cream and drizzled with more milk chocolate) it's amazing and I highly recommend it!

I had a bad experience at this establishment the first time. I decided to give it another try with my sister. The server was not friendly and sneezed into his hands. The windows and tables were not clean. I don’t usually complain about places I go but I definitely won’t be returning

A great place to get good desserts especially anything with ice cream.

I would not go back here again! You could buy some better ice cream at your corner store. The environment was not great either. I liked the Mississauga branch though. The ecorations on thebice cream/crepe/waffle were amateurish! We went here to have a lot of food but ended up leaving after some latte and ice cream starters.

The icecream was really good and was a lot. The oreo milkshake serving was too small but it tasted good.

This location lacks customer service big time. We had walked in, there were employees standing around the kitchen area who looked at us and didn't bother greeting us or coming over to help us. A server frantically came over to sat us down and gave us our menus. She also made it very clear that they would be closing soon and that we had order soon. We had three people that were still walking over from the parking lot and felt that we were being rushed to order, eat, and pay. If we was coming in at that time and it was a problem, I wish they would have said something. We would have gone elsewhere rather than sitting down and having to be rushed. The server kept coming to us every 2 seconds asking if we're ready to order and finally we did. Literally within a minute we wanted to add one shake to our order and she refused us. 5 minutes later people walked in, they were seated down, and ordered which made no sense because if we were denied why were there customers still being accepted. I dislike this location for their lack of customer service skills, and rude behaviour. I will be avoiding this demetres at all costs. I do not recommend.

Tbh i never think to go to demetres cause the place looks a bit old, but nothing beats their desserts. Always tastes good and has a lot more flavour than other places that look fancier

Very poor service, they are short of staff and cant handle rush hours. The waitress was very insulting, they dont have any check and balance that who was seated first and from whom to take order first. We didnt even had cutlery for the people on the table and when asked for a fork and a glass of water, the waitress said, ‘I am busy right now and cannot serve you at the moment’. Only a staff of 3 was serving the whole restaurant. Wont go at this outlet ever again and will recommend to others also not to go. The owner himself said, ‘Its a busy rush hour and we cant do anything’. I had to go to the kitchen counter myself to take a fork and a glass of water. Even then also i gave that rude waitress a $5 tip.

Firstly the cafe itself - there were leaks in the ceiling with buckets on the floor in multiple places. I understand if you run into issues but you may have to close down to fix it up rather than putting buckets all over the place and still having drips drop down on customers in other areas. There was significant leaking close to an inground electrical outlet that didn't see safe, not only because of the water but it's slightly raised with nothing around it making it a tripping hazard.

Next up are allergens - we had someone with us that has a food allergy. Three times the waiter needed to go back to clarify what we were asking which didn't leave us with a sense of comfort so that person did not indulge.

Demetres does not have an allergen guide, nor do they have nutritional information (ex.calorie counnt). I thought this was mandated by the Government.

For those that ate it was good. Getting dripped on midway through however soured the experience.

The food/drinks here are amazing but unfortunately the whole experience is usually ruined because of how understaffed this place is on weekends. The servers and cooks are literally running around like crazy trying to keep up with all the customers. Management really need to do something about this. There are no hiring signs anywhere so I know that they’re not looking for more workers they’re just not staffing enough people. I honestly feel bad for the workers here. I would not recommend this place on weekends unless you have a couple of hours to kill before a movie or something.

Has a good variety of desserts. Portions are big so it can be shared between 2-3 people. Staff is very friendly. Enjoyed my desert. It can get pretty busy from my previous experience. We went late at night around 11pm and were seated right away. Always nice to visit this location.

Service was not particularly fast, but the desserts are great. Demetre's is a bit pricier but they also have reasonable portions to go along with it. My favourite thing about Demetre's has to be their punny menu, and the flexibility in subsituting sauces, ice creams, or anything else.

Good dessert spot and similar to any other Demetres restaurants. Be prepared to pay between $15-20 a person with tax per dessert. Good date spot!

Hi there I can`t tell you how the food was because I never got to taste it. I can't tell you how the service was I never received any. I sat down with some friends 4 of us in total. We were greeted, sat down and waited for 20 mins without any contact with a server. Half the restaurant was empty because it was later in the evening so I'm uncertain as to why noone attended to us. At one point a server walked towards our table but proceeded to make a U-turn and cleared a table instead while another server was already clearing the tables. I thought we were an approachable group but guess not.

My family and I are daily customers. Today we went there and had a very bad experience. The customer service was really poor.and very slow service. Also very cheap quality presence of the dessert itself.today, my sister was eating the Vietnamese or some coffee icecream dessert.and she found some dust kind of thing in her mouth.and it appeared to be a "BUG" very disgusting. We spoke to a "lady waitress" and she just said sorry and didnt bother talking to the kitchen or anything.and we spoke to the Owner and he said it could be "Banana or Brownie" which doesnt make any sense.and Brownie or Banana's wont have 4 LEGS. The lady waitress had very bad attitude as well, she did not know how to speak to a customer properly. Very poor quality of dessert overall because Icecream melts like "soup" and always they will forget to add something that we have ordered, either its sauce, or toppings. I have posted the pic not sure if it works but i wil keep tryin to post it.

Usually go here with the expectation of mediocre service. Last visit waited over 20 minutes with still no server to be found. Walked out and staff couldn't care less. Lol
