I've had several occasions over the past few years to be in their care, so I can speak about real and repeated experience. They are wonderful - and it's the first place where I've not been over-the-top nervous about going in for an extraction or an implant.

Dr. E. MacKay and her team were extremely efficient and completed the periodontal surgery in no time at all. Much care was given to instructions before, during and after the procedure as well as allowing time for my questions. Overall, an excellent experience.

I was referred to Dr. Hamburg for a root canal in an upper first molar, which is the most difficult tooth to have this procedure done on. (My regular dentist will do a root canal on any tooth except the 2 upper first molars.) Dr. Hamburg explained everything as he proceeded. He was very aware and caring of how I was feeling. Even though I requested and received only half of the dose of freezing that he suggested, I didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend this personable, efficient, and skilled dentist, Dr. Lyon Hamburg.

The staff here are very friendly. They don't make you feel like you're on a assembly line and rushed out the door. I have seen a few different Hygienist here and they were all very gentle and listened to my body language if I had any discomfort. By far the best Dental office I've been to.

The required procedure was a success, and I am so grateful for that. I trust DOCS and chose to alternate between my regular dentist and DOCS for my regular cleaning. Everyone that I have been in contact with, whether the administrative staff, the hygienists and the doctors, were professional and caring in their approach. I highly recommend DOCS.

Wonderful office, staff is great and Dr. Hamilton is amazing. I had my implant done a few months ago and had my final checkup yesterday. I couldn't recommend a better office to get an implant done! Exceptional experience.

Got 4 wisdom teeth extracted today by Dr. B. Johnson.

Him and his staff (I wish I could remember their names but I was too hazy) were very accommodating, kind, and informative. I was extremely nervous beforehand but they told me about everything I needed to know and they were very friendly. They explained everything very simply and it made me feel much better about the surgery.

After the surgery, the nurse (I think it was), kindly helped me into the recovery room. Another staff member explained to my dad the steps to take from here.

I really wish I wasn't so sleepy because I would love to include the names of all the helpful staff.

My dental emergency was explained to me and my surgery was comfortable and effective. The staff are warm, caring and professional. They treated me like family and consulted with me often to remind me of my appointment preparation and even traffic concerns that might have affected my travel. Exceptional!

Hostile practice that will nickel and dime you

I had the unfortunate experience of going to this dental practice to have my root canal checked out for any issues since my sensation of chewing felt off. When arranging the appointment over the phone they agreed there would be no fees charged for only inspecting my root canal issue and I clearly stated I did not want any other work done. During my appointment Doctor Hamburg determined that my root canal was fine but my neighbouring tooth may have an issue without addressing it much further. This was maybe 30 second inspection of my neighbouring tooth and when I left to the reception they decided to charge me $95 for the appointment.

When I protested the issue, a manager was called to the front, and this is where the situation became completely unreasonable. The manager did not introduce herself -which is why I don’t know her name- and kept talking over me and didn’t listen to me at all and even threatened me with a collections agency. I was berated and completely embarrassed at the front of their reception area like I was a thief. I do not recommend anyone to give their money to this place if they value their own dignity.

I had a tooth extraction and some osteoplasty done under aneasthetic. I would highly recommend these people. Very professional. I was kept well informed and felt comfortable and well cared from beginning to end!

After a many years wait in making the decision to have a couple of implants I finally took the plunge. My dentist’s office refers to these guys for anything slightly complicated. The entire operation is top notch professional. Being nervous in a dentist chair I opted for sedation. It was mild and I remained conscious and relaxed. Although I have a great dentist who will do implants, a friend had scare me a bit with his less-than-pleasant experience at his dentist and for that reason I accepted my dentist’s referral to DOC. BEST DECISION!

I was referred to this clinc by the Canadian Forces as i am a fulltime Regular Force member. I will say with upmost certainty that is was refreshing to have access to real health care. The Canadian Forces dental and medical hacks are bottom of the barrel literally. This clinic was clean fast professional and caring. The CAF dentist are threatening and intimidating and hold rank and can force you into procedures you do not consent to. Thank you DOCS.

All the people here were very helpful and kind to me. Dr. Hamburg - Very professional. I felt that I was in good hands. He explained clearly what was going on. Everything went well and smooth experience overall.

Yesterday I had major dental surgery performed by Dr. Eugenie McKay, working together with Dr. Stewart Hum (prosthodontist) and Dr. Greg Caza (anesthesiologist) and other members of a team. I was in the chair from 7: 30 AM to 1: 30 PM. Things could not have gone better. Dr. McKay was thorough in explaining things to me in our appointments, and in reassuring me. She made it clear that she empathized with how important (and potentially scary) this surgery was, and she has a wonderful chair-side manner.

I was given various prescriptions a week in advance, including to manage pain. I was well prepared for the surgery. While I had some soreness when the anesthetic wore off, I woke up the next day with no pain. I am not taking pain meds less than 24 hours later, and am just taking the Amoxicillin.

For what it was, this was a great experience. Drs. McKay, Hum and Caza worked wonderfully together and make a great team. I couldn't recommend any of them highly enough, and would send anybody there including my own family.

The staff (nurse, the admin and greeters) were amazing and welcoming. The surgeon Dr. Brent Johnson, did an amazing work removing all four of my wisdom teeths. The dentist space was clean and my stay was comfortable. I will highly recommend this place.

Had a root canal with Dr. Hamburg and Justine yesterday.
They were both very professional and as someone who lived in the OR for over 30 years as an orthopaedic consultant, I was made to feel very comfortable and Dr. Hamburg was excellent at explaining what he was doing!
Justine was a great assistant and knew what he needed before he even asked for it!
The clinic was very clean and professional and the support staff were all great!

I have had my fair share of dental work and I would highly recommend Dr McGuire. Actually, all the staff that I have encountered there have been professional yet kind and considerate as well. Everything is run so efficiently, I have never had to wait more than 5-10 min.in the waiting room. Kuddos to the whole team!

I was so lucky to have Dr. McGuire as my dentist for my procedure. She is very committed to her practice. She has a real passion for her specialty in dentistry and so committed to the care of her patients. I was so anxious about my procedure but she put my mind at ease with her compassion. I highly recommend Dr. McGuire.

Dental implants are no joke, and when you are looking for the best, kindest, most honest and gentle periodontist, look no further than DR. Alison McGuire at DOCS. To me she is the role model to whom other similar professionals should mirror. Her care for patients is unheard of (at least in my experience), and believe me I have had my share of dental visits over the last 35 years of my life. I trusted her to watch over me while under sedation and do the best work that would benefit me the most, and she has done that. Thank you DR. McGuire

Dr. Fung completed both my extraction and my dental implant while Dr. Conway gave me sedation both times. Both doctors were very caring and professional and their technical proficiency was second to none. They made me feel very comfortable and I easily put my full trust in their abilities. Highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Hamilton recently complete my deep tissue cleaning surgery and gum grafting surgery. I was terrified but her kindness and friendly upbeat attitude helped me relax and stay calm. She did the surgery very well and did an excellent job sewing in my mouth after the surgery. Everything healed very quickly with no issues. I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton!

All the staff (reception, assistants, nurses and docs) are friendly, caring and professional. Dr. McGuire was patient, accessible and ready to help at any time. Dr. Greg (missed the last name) the anaesthesiologist was also friendly and professional. I trusted everyone and felt pretty comfortable with the whole process (2 extracts and three implants!). I also notice that their staffing practises are fairly inclusive, which matters a lot. I highly recommend these folks.

Highly recommend Dr. Fung as a periodontist, she is very skilled, professional and wonderfully kind. Julia (her hygienist) is skilled and compassionate as well. The reception staff are always welcoming and pleasant to interact with. The entire team makes going to the dentist a positive experience!
