Dentistry on Liverpool

I've been coming to this dentist office for years with my family. It is always been a wonderful experience. Everyone is friendly, and make you feel very welcomed.

I have been a patient at Dentistry on Liverpool for many years. Dr. Anna and her staff are always very professional and caring.
Today I called the office asking for an emergency appointment. Sandy scheduled me almost immediately with Dr. Maisels. He and his assistant were also very helpful and professional.
Dentistry on Liverpool definitely gets my endorsement.

I am very appreciative of the Dentistry on Liverpool. I am from the USA visiting family in Pickering ONT. I developed a toothache that had to be addressed. The Dentistry on Liverpool was very accomodating. I was seen by a Dr Karr within 45 minutes of my unscheduled arrival. After x-rays, we were able to address my toothache based on my travel plans. The Dentistry on Liverpool is friendly, professional and again very accommodating, I highly recommend them.

I called at 8: 00 a.m. With a dental emergency ; having had my 15 yr old bridge become loose.
By 2 p.m. The same day, all was repaired and recemented and I walked out as if nothing had happened.
Many thanks to the office staff for accommodating me in an extremely timely manner and particularly to Dr. K Wax for her expertise, and patience.

I am new in Pickering and I was referred by my building manager and I have to say that I am so pleased by all of you that I actually cannot wait to see you all soon. You are so welcoming and pleasant that it is very hard to feel any pain or discomfort during the work I needed to be done at a time.
Thank you all so very much, especially to Dr. Anna who made me laugh so hard that I had to call for time out a few times during my procedure. I am extremely happy I found you!

The staff all help me through my anxiety if I know I'm getting a filling my anxiety starts the night before my tears flow and I'm scared
But upon arrival last week I had the staff comfort me especially the lady Sandy she distracted me and I was calm Dr Maisel and his assistant helped me stay calm they told me step by step what was happening and reassured me
Also kept lighting low showing great sensitivity to my needs of getting migraines
I also have Andra my dental hygienist take her time and help me feel safe always.
Dentistry in Liverpool is like my family and I feel accepted even being disabled due to car accident.
I've also asked my family to join here too.

One dentist that worked here three years ago did not meet our quality expectations. We are still upset about it. We were more satisfied at Bayly Dental just around the corner West of Tim Hortons.

Update: Having the same dentist correct her mistake wasn't going to be acceptable. The offer was there, but we didn't take advantage of that.and that's on us.

I took my 3 and 4 year old daughters here for the first time, it was their first ever dentist appointment and it went really well. Jessica was amazing, she was really gentle and patient with them, they left really happy. All the staff members were really nice and welcoming. Great first experience.

I’ve had the opportunity to see two of the dentists in this practice - Dr. Maisels & Dr. Karr.

I called on a Monday night with a pain issue and they got me in first thing the next morning with Dr. Maisels - I was seen quickly and the resulting examination was fantastic!

I returned a few weeks later and saw Dr. Karr - she replaced 4 old fillings my prior dentist did 15+ years ago and I felt zero pain or discomfort.

Everyone from the receptionists, techs and dentists made me feel welcome and well taken care of!

I saw my prior dentist for 25 years and now that he’s retiring I’m happy to put my dental health in the hands of Dentistry on Liverpool.

I have been a patient for over 30 years and I have been very pleased with the dental treatment I have received by the many different people.
I have yet to be disappointed in anyone there.
I have recommended people there and they to have also been happy.
Keep up they great work.

Excellent service. Dr. Maisels and his staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they were able to address all of my dental needs in a timely manner.

Dr Karr is wonderful. After several not-so-nice experiences elsewhere followed by years of avoiding any dentist, Dr Karr has given me my smile back She has been only patient and non-judgmental, even when my behaviour embarrassed me, and is very particular about getting things just right. Sandi the administrator, the hygienists and the front desk staff have all been so kind and encouraging as well.

It's a nice clean establishment and the people are friendly.

They will however tap you for absolutely everything they can.

And they will try to upsell you on everything they can as well.

Make sure your benefits are top notch or you have deep pockets.

My benefits are quite good and they could not handle the extra charges.

Unfortunately I had to pull my family out to look for another dentist

Just an update to kind of respond to the write-up dentistry on Liverpool left me below.

My son was not even in a room for 45 minutes with a dentist we got double tapped for two units and also an examination fee.

It was some crazy amount of money for 45 minutes.

And I had literally just paid for an examination fee when he had four teeth pulled a month prior.

Dr. Anna and her team are amazing - professional, caring and they create wonderful outcomes. Thank you!

I cannot say enough great things about Dentistry on Liverpool. I came to them a couple of years ago after avoiding the dentist for years due to past negative experiences and high anxiety. I have been through a lot with Dr. Waks and Judy, dental assistant, and each time I come I am greeted with big smiles, a lot of jokes and always a hand to hold.

Unfortunately I’ve had some urgent dental work and Dr. Waks has always responded promptly and arranged for appropriate treatment immediately. There has yet to be problem she has not fixed for me. I am so grateful for their expertise, I’ve referred my husband, kids and even my parents come from Etobicoke now. We jokingly refer to Judy & Dr. Waks as the dream team and it’s easy to see why. Thanks tor all the help DOL ️

Terrible dental office who sides with their negligent dentist. I've been busy so I am updating my review. Beware of the denist named Katherine Waks. She did a filling on my tooth and broke my tooth. When I addressed my issue she said it was like that before she did it. Always take before and after pictures if you're gonna let that woman work on your teeth. I complained to the college and they sided with their own. Took almost 3 years to complete the process eventhough it did nothing. She had to take a workshop for her unprofessional behavior. Other than that she did a horrible job on my teeth. My teeth were fine before she RUINED them. Imagine feeling no pain then being in pain everyday after an unskilled dentist touches them.

I used to dread seeing the dentist, but I cannot say enough good things about the team at Dentistry on Liverpool. They are always happy to help me understand the details of what needs to be done and why. Dr. Waks and Judy make a great team and really put me at ease during treatment. Thanks for taking good care of me and my teeth!

As always, it is a pleasure to walk in to Dentistry on Liverpool office. Super hi-tech and innovative to dentistry. Sterile. Dr. Anna Aleinikov is wonderful and staff is great, they are very patient-friendly and professional. Great care. I cannot thank them enough - and I could not recommend them higher.

The best Dental office around everyone is so nice and professional and I love my teeth and smile again.

I’ve had full dental restoration which was recently completed by Dr. Ana Aleinikov and the result is a Picasso work of art. Perfect bite and brand new pearly smile!
I wanted a healthy set of teeth and gums so a great deal of planning and work was needed lucky for me Dentistry on Liverpool had Dr. Ana a precise meticulous dentist and Sandi the Treatment Coordinator to guide me along the way. They made me feel I am in control of my treatment with honesty and compassion. They truly care and on ‘every visit’ from the receptionists, hygienist and dental assistants they are all nice and professional as well.
My whole family been patients here for 20+ years and now also my 5 year old grandson, he loves it here! That tells you a lot about this place. They live in downtown Toronto and travel to DOL for their regular dental check-up.
Easily the best dentistry around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As usual Hannah was marvelous. I love our talks her care of me is foremost in her mind and she is so personable I feel.like I've known her forever her professionalism is beyond reproach. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my oral care because of her and all the crew.

Over the weekend, I damaged a tooth on my bridge and was very concerned about how this will be fixed and even more concerned about the cost. However, when I saw Dr. Anna, she put my mind at ease. She gave me 3 options and then we decided on the best one to try first and it worked beautifully. I was very impressed with the results. Thank you Dr. Anna.

Dr. Anna and staff are professional, friendly and informative. The visit to have my implanted dentures removed, cleaned and replaced was comfortable and thorough.

Absolutely lovely service. I had been terrified to go to the dentist again initially after a bad experience elsewhere, but after my first visit here, I've never felt safer and more well cared for. I've gotten braces here this year and would recommend them to anyone.

My first experience with this dental office was great. Dr. Kerr was remarkable, rebuilt a tooth to perfection. More work to be completed and feel very comfortable with future results.

I suggest that the dentist should give an estimate quote for the treatment or examination.

I just wanted to have my teeth cleaned and get a general check there, in the end I was charged almost $800! My insurance covered some, but I still have to pay almost $200.especially they didn’t let me know that the insurance didn’t cover the part I was charged for.below is the part of the receipts.

I wanted to book my kids there too, but I don’t think it’s a good choice.

I've had 3 wisdom teeth take out here and the team are amazing! Compared to other dentists I have been to, these folks are by far the best! Very professional, make you feel comfortable and talk you though everything! Couldn't recommend them enough!

Had my first appointment at Dentistry on Liverpool today and Zara did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, and her positive energy made the whole experience great. Exceptionally better with her tools, scaler/scraper whatever those metal picks are, compared to other hygienists I’ve been to at different clinics that have made my gums feel like they’re going through torture.

And Dr. Goldberg examined my teeth after my cleaning and was very knowledgeable and insightful, seems like there is a great team of people working at this dentistry, will recommend and return.

Being a new patient at this office and not enjoying my visit to the dentist at others office, this office made me feel comfortable and confident in the care provided for my teeth. Huge shoutout to Rhonda, Rebecca and Dr Goldberg for exception service. So happy I made the switch!

Been coming to this practice for decades. Friendly, skilled, and highest level of care. Immaculate office. Great about accommodating emergencies. Painfree freezing from Dr Waks everytime. Always a professional but relaxed and low stress experience. Don't like dentists? Give DOL a try and see what the best of dental care feels like. Note: Front door to building, and rooms on 2nd floor, are still not handicap accessible, so let office know what you need for your dignity and comfort when you book your appt so they can try to accommodate.

I have had some bad experiences with dental offices in my history that had led me really reluctant to make appointments.
My experience with Dentistry on Liverpool has been much better. The experience from door to chair is very streamlined, and the knowledge and care has been great.
I have been going for a year and a half at the time of this review and they have really helped get my oral health back on track (without judgement, which is nice)

Office is always very organized, and specially now with COVID. Appointment even started a few mins early and staff were great. Take my kids here and they are really good with kids and not making them feel nervous or pressured and engaged in what is happening. Rooms are clean and not cluttered.

Top notch dental clinic. Everyone I have dealt with there has been amazing. After a bad experience at another dentist, these guys stepped in and they have been fantastic. 10/10

I've been going to dentistry on liverpool for decades since I was a toddler. I love it here. The renovations are fresh and modern. The doctors are patient and friendly. The hygienists are efficient, professional and non judgemental. I consistently have good experiences and good care and they always address all concerns promptly and with plenty of options. I recommend them highly.

As usual at Dentistry on Liverpool was very professional. The cleanliness was immaculate. They take safety of their patients and themselves to the highest level. I am totally impressed and would always highly recommend them. Shout ou0t to hygienist Rebeca and Dr. Waks. Also I should mention that I didn't like going to the dentist office. But this office takes the worry off me and enjoyable to get my needs taken care of.

Been going here since I was a kid in 1999, when they were just a little building. Hope I never move far away so I never have to find another place. Professional, friendly dentists and hygienists, always a comfortable environment.

First visit was a positive experience. The team was welcoming and caring from start to finish. While the x-ray and cleaning process was thorough as well, I care more about the customer service side of things, and I would definitely recommend based on a job well done on that front.

This team of professionals works very hard at trying to provide the best possible care for your teeth. Dr, Adam Maisels is the best dentist I have ever had. He is careful, competent and very thorough.

I actually didn’t like the place too much till I met Hannah. She’ll be my hygienist moving forward. Highly recommend her from all the hygienists they have.

My first time visit today went well, very friendly and informative and I didn't get the feeling they were simply after billing me for however much my insurance covered in an attempt to make money during this pandemic. Will update my review after the next few visits but im confident ill be satisfied for years to come.

Thank to Dentistry on Liverpool for your kindness and patience in helping our young daughter having her first cavity filled. A special shout out to Dr. Karr for your extra care, kindness and lots of strategies in helping an anxious child (and parent). Our kiddo left happy and proud of herself, saying that she likes the dentist! Always happy with the care we receive here. Thank you again.

Overall, the best Dentistry I've visited. First ever visit was this month and this is now my regular dentist.
Highly professional service, courteous and friendly staff, spacious waiting and treatment rooms, well organised for Covid-19 precautions.
