Dentistry on the Mountain

Dentistry on the Mountain is the reason I’ve started to go to the dentist more regularly. I’ve had bad dental experiences in the past so I avoided going for a long time but everyone here is so kind and helpful in the process. Dr. Khalid and all the hygienists are gentle throughout any cleaning or cavity filling process and I’ve truly experienced little to no pain each time (in comparison to past dentists where it was always painful to get cavities filled). I highly recommend becoming a patient for great care!

Dentistry on the mountain came highly recommended and I have had amazing service and experience everytime. The front desk staff - Noor and Nav are very warm and helpful. They make you feel welcome and relaxed, while being professional and friendly. Kudos to them. The doctors are also kind and patient. I’ve recommended several people here and no bad experiences yet.

I had a nice time with Nav. She really explained to me in details. I really commend her. The place is good generally.

The front reception staff added wrong name and date of birth of my 10 years old daughter as Insurance Subscribers and submitted for insurance claim for dental service, and when the claims got rejected due to error made by staff on the documents, they refused to fix the mistake. They added false comments on our file and messed it up. I was not aware of this error for the last 8 months. The staff member Noor and Nav (I believe I spelled correct) were not willing to accept the fault. Now they have a written proof of their mistake but still not willing to own it. They promised to call back but ended up never calling back. Every time I called they were very rude and uncooperative. I was going there for years however the new receptionists are worst to deal with. I have decided to move to another clinic and best of luck to those who are still going there!

Nice staff. Everything I go in for is cared for. I also half issues at home and they let me come in and help me solve

Great dental clinic with amazing staff. You can tell they really care and Dr. Khalid is very compassionate and knowledgeable and you feel great in his hands of care.

Miscommunication or so.just bcz i had no insurance.even the kid felt as if we were a waste of time! My first experience was good but on return w/my daughter, was awful.

Cleaned my teeth and told me all the ways to keep up with the cleanliness after. I’ve been wanting to clean up for a while and it was nice to do so finally.

I want to say a huge thank you to all professionals who work at this place. I had a pleasant experience starting from the reception where I was told about every single step and what documents and forms I should fill out. The dentists and assistants were very nice, welcoming and professional.
I'm satisfied with the services and I would definitely recommend this place to visit.

Front desk Customer service is very bad. They are professional actors to be awarded, especially the turban lady.

We highly recommend this clinic, the attention and service is always incredible, my husband and I have attended here, the staff is always friendly and we have been able to use our insurance without any inconvenience, also they speak several languages so communication will not be a problem!

My wife and I have been going here for about 6ish years. The staff is amazing! Always gentle and kind. Love that they're open on the weekend so I don't have to leave work.

I didn’t feel pain while I was getting my teeth filled but I still have one more filling their really nice people I use to go to the one next to lime ridge and I would feel like I got punched in the jaw and all the people would complain but yea there really good people.

Dr. Khalid is one of the most wonderful dentist I came to him all the way from Toronto for filling and taking out one of my teeth and he really did an excellent work the I bring all of my kids my 2 daughter and my oldest son and the all happy with the work he did it for filling great job Dr. Khalid thanks for taking care of me and my family

There was a misunderstanding when I called to get my granddaughter in to see this dentist my granddaughter was in alot of pain after calling around for another dentist they told me it would be at least a week so I called my dentistry on the mountain back they welcomed us back and took her in right away they were all so good with her thank you for being so understanding would definitely recommend this dentist

Well I've never had to ask a dentist to give me a filling. I went there knowing I had cavities and the xrays showed I did too but the dentist sent me on my way without saying I need to get them fixed. I practically had to beg him to treat me. There's always a different dentist there an he was unknown to me. Also they shuffled my son to another dentist without even looking at him because they noticed that he was fidgeting in the waiting room and sent me to a dentist that would put him to sleep without even giving him a check up. That guy was new to me as well. So I'm not very impressed and will not be returning. Plus the hygienist only cleaned half my mouth and told me I'd have to come back and they'd have to apply for extra cleanings from my insurance. Which they told me before but never made it happen. So not impressed.

I recommend anyone who has a dental problem to go immediately to this place, the treatment is nice from all the staff in this clinic, as well as the appointments are accurate and there is no delay from them, thank you for your patient with me and my family

I came here with a toothache. I asked them to fix it. Naturally, they upsold me on a slew of extraneous work. Fine. I never go to the dentist, I had coverage from two insurance companies, and I figured I might as well get as much work done as possible as long as it was covered.

I told them to keep whatever work they did within the limits of my coverage. As a student with little extra money, this was important to me. I was told this would be no problem.

Long story short:

They performed a bunch of work on me, making sure to drain all of my insurance money, and they billed me for additional money afterward.

My tooth never stopped hurting.

They will not be receiving my money. I would sooner litigate.

Stop taking advantage of people.

I did not risk my own money, but I can only imagine the damage they have caused to others.

My tooth still hurts and I will now need to pay for it myself.

Heed my warning. This is a mall-quality establishment who is far from being beyond expediency. Proceed with caution. Better yet, just venture elsewhere.

Everybody at the office is so kind and professional. So glad we chose this office. Staff really take the time to know their clients.

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Dr. Jamal is extremely nice and so comforting as is all of the staff I’ve met. I have severe anxiety and was nervous about my tooth extractions to the point of crying but I was comforted by staff and Dr. Jamal checked on me the whole time to make sure I was okay and made the experience easy. I couldn’t be any more happy with this office!

Pt safety was not kept in mind. Staff need proper training on pan scan and how to suction and be accommodating for a pet's needs. Left in tears and couldn't drive for about 15 minutes because I was shaking so much

The dentist, Heba, is both unprofessional and underqualified. Third time going to see her to fix the same filing that has been causing me pain and discomfort. I had to wait around for 20 minutes while she was arguing on her cellphone in her language. After finishing all my insurance coverage on unnecessary exams and x-rays, on top of charging me $300, I still have the same tooth pain. Avoid this place and don’t trust the positive reviews, as they offer $5 Tim Hortons gift cards for positive reviews.

I have been bringing my kids here for years and the workers are always kind and my kids have said they feel comfortable and have had a great experience at dentistry on the mountain!

The service and atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. They were quick to get us in for service even tho we arrived early.

Dentistry On The Mountain is by far the absolute worst dentist office I have ever been to! I came in here because I was having pain in the left side of my mouth - an amount of pain I have never experienced in my life! It was so bad I thought for sure it was a medical emergency! So I go in, with the understanding that these people work with ODSP and government assistance. They did not do a full X-ray, examines the wrong tooth/teeth and offered to do a root canal/ filling/ pricey mouth guard - on the wrong tooth! They also wrote me a prescription for ibuprofen 600mg which I found out doesn’t even exist anymore when I went to fill the script! So I told the staff I needed to consider my options as these procedures they offered were pricey and not covered under my insurance. Upon getting a second opinion at their sister company (Fenworth Dental), i then became aware that the problem was actually a cavity that was infected in the rear bottom molar left side! Nowhere near the original tooth they had told me was the problem! It was only after Fenworth Dental had done a full panoramic X-ray of my whole mouth that they were able to identify this was the problem!

So in my opinion - Dentistry On The Mountain’s staff is trained to perform the most costly procedures without even being able to justify their reasons for doing the work! The dental assistant was laughing at me when I was explaining to her that I was in a tremendous amount of pain and what they were doin in mouth didn’t even hurt at he time - as I’d to say they thought I was faking the amount of pain I was in! I can’t even believe places like this are allowed to operate this way! I am completely disgusted in the way their staff treats their patients, and the way that their dentists are trained to treat the problems their patients are dealing with. Just because your dentists went to medical school does not make them doctors.

I highly recommend that anyone considering going here, does not! These people are extremely ignorant, scam artists, and liars. I will be getting in touch with the right people to have this place shut down if possible. You people make me sick.how do you guys sleep at night. I would have given 0/5 star rating but the lowest you can go is 1/5.
