This was my first appointment with Dentistry on Wellington. All staff was amazing from the desk staff to the dentist and assistant. DDS Thapar was very educated and professional and did an amazing job, and the assistant Manjot was so friendly and great as well. I will come back 100 times over again.

Great experience. Competent hygienists, dentists and reception staff. They all make the visit comfortable and relaxed. I'm very satisfied with my care here.

I had a really uncomfortable experience with this dentist’s office. While my initial appointment with Dr. Heliya went smoothly, the receptionist, Laura, was very rude and aggressive during our following interactions. I’ve never had an experience like this in a professional medical context, and it was very jarring. Very disappointing to see this sort of thing happening in our neighborhood, which is generally a very close-knit and respectful community.

I recently switched to Dentistry on Wellington from another clinic and will never leave! Dr. Tan is proficient, personable, skilled and genuine. He and the dental hygienists make the experience comfortable and enjoyable, whether it's a simple cleaning or a more complex procedure. The front desk staff are caring, friendly and on top of everything. One of the best healthcare experiences I've ever had!

I've been going to the dentist office for 3 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. Both the dentist and the receptionist have been very nice throughout the experiences. I would highly recommend this dentist office.

I had one session with Dr. Thapar and two sessions with Dr. Tan, all of which were amazing. Not only did they make me feel comfortable throughout the procedure, but they also took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all of my questions. Despite my low pain tolerance, I didn't feel any discomfort or inconvenience during any of my sessions with either doctor. I also really appreciated the energy and friendly demeanour of the front desk employees, who made booking and cancelling appointments a breeze. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the care I received and would highly recommend both Dr. Tan and Dr. Thapar.

Best care and patient service. They are truly an unmatched practice in every regard and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dental care.

I recently had a concerning experience at Dentistry
on Wellington where I received inadequate diagnosis and treatment. I visited the clinic to do a check up and they said that I should get fillings done on two teeth. Weirdly enough, I started to experience the pain after the filling for two months, making my daily life uncomfortable and inconvenient. When I re-visited the dentistry regarding the pain, his diagnosis was that there was no problem, or that it was related to my wisdom tooth.

However, my discomfort persisted, and I sought a second opinion from another dentist. To my surprise, the other dentist discovered that the pain was actually coming from the tooth that had been previously filled which needed root canal. This misdiagnosis led to unnecessary delay in addressing the real issue, and I had to endure two months of ongoing pain and discomfort.

As a patient, I expect that dental professionals will accurately diagnose and address dental problems. In this case, the misdiagnosis and failure to recognize that the pain was coming from the tooth that had been filled at the clinic has caused me significant inconvenience and discomfort. Needlessly to say, I am disappointed with the level of care and accuracy provided at this clinic.

To other potential patients, I strongly advise not going to this dentistry since you might receive wrongfully diagnose as well.

To the clinic, I urge you to take appropriate steps to review and improve the accuracy of diagnoses at your clinic to ensure that other patients do not face similar issues. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Dentistry on Wellington is a great place. I have been dr. Peter's patient for more than 20 years. He is our family dentist and a trusted friend we come to for an advice regarding our dental health. His skill, experience and honesty is unique.

I have been with the Dentistry on Wellington practice since before they moved to Wellington Street. Dr Friedman has always taken care of my needs and the hygienists have been the very best. What a crew! I would never go elsewhere.

From the moment I entered Dentistry on Wellington years ago, I was received by the kindest, most honest and reliable group of people. The staff are so friendly and thorough in their work. I hesitated to go back during the pandemic, but some tooth pain sent me in to the dentist. Dr. Thapar and his team took great care of me and I felt so safe with the protocols that they have in place. Every treatment room is enclosed with a glass door and there is no waiting around in the waiting room, they have all appointments spaced out. I must add that the renovations and expansion of the clinic are absolutely beautiful and were a pleasant surprise! I recommend Dentistry on Wellington to any and all for all of your dental needs. They have started an Orthodontics program and offer traditional braces and Invisalign now, so I will be bringing my son for a complimentary consultation. Thanks again to Laura for her friendly smile and Dr. Thapar and Joan for their gentle and thorough care.

Edited to add - today was my first dentist appointment during the COVID-19 pandemic and I must say that Dentistry on Wellington made me feel safe with their super diligent cleaning and distance maintaining protocols. I saw Katherine the hygienist and she was phenomenal. She was very thorough in her cleaning and was very friendly. The rooms are all closed off with glass doors and there are filtration fans in each room for better circulation. I felt completely safe, my only regret was waiting almost 2 years for this appointment. Had I known that they were so well prepared I would have booked months ago. Thanks again for a great visit to the dentist!

Dr Friedman and his entire staff are fantastic, I feel I have the best dental care experience at every appointment. This office truly deserves high praise in all areas, the staff have compassion, they go out of their way to know you and try their best to accommodate you. The first time EVER that I am 100% satisfied with every aspect of a medical business. Their receptionist, their dental assistant and the dentist himself all deserve a million stars. The building is extremely clean, everyone is friendly. A real friendly. Not fake friendly. And the dentist is gentle, knowledgeable and takes his time explaining everything. Not only do I stand by my previous review but I wanted to share that I have referred every single friend and loved one in the Toronto region! I still have nothing but good things to say about this specific clinic and every single team member.

It's also worth noting they have gone above and beyond through the entire pandemic to keep every client safe. When I brought a loved one with extreme anxiety the office manager Laura came and held their hand, stood in the cold doorway and explained every single step that was going to happen. She waited until the loved one was laughing and comfortable before leading them inside. I was beyond impressed at her empathy and compassion. For anyone who is afraid of the dentist or afraid because of COVID, this is exactly the place you want to go. No one can guarantee anything with COVID but this office has gone above and beyond for countless precaution to keep us safe!

I want to start by saying that I had an amazing experience with this practice/the people at this location and I would highly recommend them! I have explained my situation a bit below.

I had a dental emergency over the past weekend was in extreme pain. I was frantically trying to find a dentist. (I am new to the city and do not have a regular dentist.) I called and was greeted by the most kind woman I’ve ever encountered in healthcare (Laura) who helped me get an appointment ASAP. Once I got in, Dr. Ali (possibly wrong spelling) saw me and was kind and friendly. He made me feel at home and walked me through explaining what was causing my pain and the steps I needed to take to fix it.
What I found so noteworthy was the fact that they kept reminding me that it was MY choice what procedures I want to get done and they would explain the pros/cons of each procedure (or the pros/cons of waiting to complete the procedure).

The entire practice treated me like I was their family member and I could not be happier. I will take all my dental needs to them in the future!

Dentistry on Wellington have been my dentists for about 25 years! Having grown up in the UK, I am blessed with English teeth which require a lot of love and attention. “Dr Peter” and his team never push cosmetic or discretionary work on me and look for ways to keep my mouth healthy without breaking my pocket book. The whole team are welcoming and kind - especially Laura who keeps the place running with a smile and true care for the patients.

I have been going to the clinic since 2000, after I moved to the St. Lawrence Market area and never regretted my choice to change dentist even though I had no referral. What a great place, everyone treats you with respect, are genuinely friendly and most of all, remember your name:) I am a very nervous patient but they put me at ease and never made me feel silly for feeling this way. And I LOVE the bathroom floor! Highly recommend them, they are the best!

Administration and dental staff are excellent and take the time to answer your questions and refer you to proper specialists if necessary as soon as possible.

This is the first dental office that I have been to where I am not afraid to get my teeth checked annually. The staff are friendly. I never feel pressured to get dental work done and above all, I have never come back to correct a mistake when I do get my dental work done. I've been seeing Dr. Peter Friedman since 1990! I've never thought of going anywhere else, and never had any complaints. I can ask all the questions I want and get straight answers without condescension, and I enjoy our travel chats. Peter always makes sure I'm comfortable, and Laura at the front desk is consistently friendly and pleasant. The swag bag at the end of each visit is a nice bonus too!

Absolutely the best dentistry you could ever ask for on this earth. Everyone one who works here is utterly charming. There is a rare combination of perfection and humour that makes any visit a pleasure. The organization is a work of art. I actually wish I could chat more as they work, since everyone's conversation and wit makes you feel like you are part of very exclusive and very warm club. The Travelers Club of Dentistry, full of wisdom and humour. Of course I still hope to evolve teeth like a shark that fall out and then regrow. But until that happens in another life, I can't imagine maintaining my primate teeth anywhere else, surrounded by funny stories and strange travel tales from across this strange world. Truly an oasis of calm, skill and charm that I have been recommending for decades.

Not only is Dr. Friedman a consummate professional who has taken such good care of myself (and my husband) over the years, Dr. Friedman's team is amazing. From Laura at the front desk, who is so efficient and never misses a beat to Stacey, who is the best hygienist I have seen, the service orientation is unmatched and the quality of care is second to none. Honestly, you can't do better. You will never wait for an appointment and should you need a referral for specialized treatment, Dr. Friedman's network does not disappoint. Sincerely can't say enough. Oh, and they give you the best lip balms after appointments. Hands down ;) I rarely write reviews, but can't support Dentistry in Wellington enough!

Dr. Friedman is a wonderful dentist who treats you as he would his own relatives. He doesn’t hurt. He is quick and efficient. I wish I had gone to him years ago. When you need a specialist for an implant he recommends the best. And he has a great sense of humor to boot. Laura at reception is also gem who is able to come up with appointments when everything is booked.

Peter's office and Peter's chair are happy places. Really he's an old friend after twenty-six years. Laura brightens everything. My only kvetch is that you aren't offering a cruise with Peter as a giveaway, instead of an iTunes app (what the h*ll is that?).

As a long time client I’d have to say Norma (exec Receptionist) makes me feel so welcome and invited when I enter the office. Along with any of the staff who may be floating by.everyone is so personable. The office itself is more open concept, I don’t feel like I’m walking into a work space. It’s quite refreshing, as my teeth and gums are when I leave the office.

I had put off going to the Dentist for a few years. Initially, it was just too much of a hassle to go back home and visit my family Dentist. Then, it became a "fear of the unknown" thing, where I didn't want to know what was happening in my mouth.

Fast forward to February 2020, and while walking by Dentistry on Wellington, I saw their sign outside that said something to the extent of "no magazines, no judgement". Something clicked, and I managed to book an appointment for later that day.

My experience at Dentistry on Wellington was perfect. The staff were completely respectful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was even able to watch sports on the TV, while I was in the chair! I was very impressed with how clean the office was overall too. I would highly recommend Dentistry on Wellington to friends and family.
