Had an IGLA installed at Derand on my Toyota. It's a no brainer, if your buying an expensive vehicle that's stolen often spend the extra money don't be CHEAP! If you can't afford it, don't buy the vehicle.

Derand did an excellent job and were extremely happy with the outcome. Can now enjoy the SUV to the fullest!

I recently had a car audio, backup camera and remote starter installed in my Corolla. Everything is working perfectly and I am thoroughly satisfied with the clean appearance and functionality of everything. I will definitely be going back for future additions to my car. The pricing for everything is quite impressive too. Definitely has cheaper quotes than other places I've enquired at.

Not a good experience. I was told the job would take 4 to 6 hours but they had my car for 4 days. First excuse was their employee had an appt and couldn’t finish it. Then they ordered wrong lights, then some of the lights didn’t work, then the lights didn’t fit.

Very frustrating experience.

Outstanding service today from Andre and Raph to quickly fix my wife's Emmo e-bike and find an alternate solution despite not having the replacement part in stock. Her e-bike broke down just before a ride this AM and we showed up at the shop unannounced to see what the issue was and get it, hopefully, repaired the same day. The guys were extremely helpful and got us back on the trail in no time. A big thank you.

I had a horrible experience today with this business. I made an appointment a week ago to get my tint done today at 15Jun23 @ 0900 hrs. I arrived at 0900 hrs to be told come back at 1000 hrs. I came back at 1000 hrs to be told come back at 1100 hrs cause the tinter was not there. I came back at 1100 hrs to be told tinter was not there. Then I was told to leave vehicle all day when I was told the previous week it would take 2 hours to complete. While all this was happening, the customer ahead of me had an appointment to have an amplifier modified or installed where the technician was still in his bed. How do I know? Well, his colleague called him via speaker phone where entire store can hear everything unbenounced to the technician. Talk about awkward. So if you value punctuality, professionalism and time management; save yourself the aggrevation and stear clear of this merchant and learn from my misfortune. Thank you.

Advising everyone when you buy on line for e bike or scooters etc.
You will not received service. The Owner Andre Derand heard me out. Was over loaded with his own customers. Help me had my scooter mobility bike. He picked up by his driver and brought back less than a week. Everyone I spoke to went beyond to help me. Bob a phone representative was listen. Help us out as soon as he could. Call back as promise

Im a repeat customer. The guys here are the best, great customer service, all around still the best place for all your Motorsports needs.

Andre has positively horrible customer service. Blaming my Emmo bike's issues on the fact that I should have bought an e-bicycle. Then tried to say it was because it wasn't purchased at Derrand (it has a Derrand licence plate on it) Then said it had been on the stand on Friday for 3 hours having a tech look at it. I called the next day (Saturday) and was told that the tech had been sick for the last 3 days. Told I didn't drop off the charger, that was the issue (it's in the bike) Told I needed new batteries (they are new). I paid $850 last week for a repair and it's still not holding a charge, and I have no idea how to have a reasonable conversation with this person as you have NO idea what is going on in your store and are clearly lying about what is going on.

You keep changing your story. You never called me. They are NEW batteries. I tried to mention this twice to you.

They are fantastic with there service. My scooter was in my drive way exactly when they said. Had one battery go dead supplied new one in jigg time.the same thing with controller. Back riding again.could not be happier.

From researching they are the only ones that have any small not to heavy City scooter in Ottawa and you can try, all the others are those big and bulky ones.

Very courteous and prompt service.purchased 3 different e scooters last year and i had an issue with one of the batteries.they took it back.gave me a loaner battery and then ordered a brand new battery.no problem

The team at Derand did an absolutely fantastic job with my Corolla as they installed the splitter and spoiler, as well had window guards and a dash cam put in.
They previously installed my sub and trusted them to do a great job and they came through in spades.

I had the tint installed a month ago, due to cold weather so i could finally roll them down to check it out after let them sit for a month, the egde of the film is not even at all for all window, my driver side also has the film sticking out which is not acceptable. Beside that, there is a punch of dust spot in the film.

I dont really mind about the rude customer service when i brought the car there, just need a good tint window but.

I dont know what to say. I hope they will correct my tint window later.

These guys are the Best! I recently had a truck stolen. So when I got a new truck I went to them for an alarm system. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all the options I had. Not only did they do a great job with selling me the alarm system and installing it quickly. I had to fly out of town for work unexpectedly while they were installing. They kept my truck safe and inside for me for a few extra days until I could come back and pick it up. This was a big stress relief for me. I will recommend these guys to anyone and I will be back to purchase more services in the future.

I've been going to Derrand on and off for that past 20 years and recently decided to try out a competitor. I was disaapointed with the attention to detail and the hourly rate of their work. I brought my vehicle to Derand to fix the mistakes that were made and I am very pleased with the outcome as well as their very competitive shop rates. I highly recommend Derand for all of your automotive aftermarket needs!

I bought a bike from this store and got a part broken in my bike, and two other thing in the bike weren’t working probably. I have waited for 3 Months to get my bike repaired as I was promised to get it fixed with in weeks and yet it’s not done.

Chris and Adam provided exceptional service to help me determine the best audio setup for my '66 Impala. Chris is a electrical genius. He replaced the harness and made some cool additions that caught me by surprise. Thanks fellas!

Thousands of spam ads on Kijiji say it all about this place. There is another JL audio dealer in Ottawa that isn't annoyingly spammy.

I bought an electric bicycle from Derand. Andre was a good guy to deal with and quickly followed up on my email. The store staff were friendly and helpful in answering my presale questions. My bike was delivered same day to my home in Ottawa. Overall great buying experience. I would recommend Derand based on this purchase.

I brought my bike in and was quoted less then 2 hours to repair it and it was there for almost 2 weeks. The employees are nice but super lazy, they sell nice bikes but if you need to work on them I would just do it yourself.

I most say I had the most amazing service by the Owner, thank you so much Andre to accommodated in a quick service, I walk in and even he was busy right away he came over assist me great knowledge of the product with my scooter, you would like great service and friendly staff that the place to go hand down strongly recommended CURLY.

Brought the car for XPel coating. Had to bring it back more than once to get it redone because of air bubbles. They never call you to tell you if the car is ready, they make excuses like oh we called but you didn’t answer. Last time I. Roughy it in to see about adding more they had it for two days and then said oh we forgot to do it. Very disorganized and unprofessional. Never going back there again.

I was very disappointed with the product I got from Durand Motorsports. I got a brake controller installed by them and it has never worked correctly. I had them check it a couple of different times and eventually had them put in an entirely different new one that was more expensive and I paid the difference and the brakes still never work properly on the trailer. 2 years later I go to try and use my trailer hitch and the brake controller doesn't work at all. It's not like it was used much over the last year and a half because of the pandemic. If I was going to put in a brake controller I would not go to Durand Motorsports.

Two months ago, my wife and I purchased an ebike for her. We were hasty in our purchase decision and by the time my wife had tried out her purchase, she felt it was much too speedy for her biking habits. With not much hope, I showed up at Derand and wondered whether they would accept a return. To my immense surprise and gratitude, they did so without so much as a re-stocking fee. Now that's customer service!

Seems like a all in for profit and not customer values was told no returns or exchanges for the 2.100 doller e bike I baught after doing readearch I could have saved 900 dollers and more if I did not choose this company happy with my bike but not happy with this company stay away unless u want to pay more than you should!

They don’t even want to sell anything. Called them twice, waited over a week. Never got a call back from them. Went to other dealership and got what i wanted.

These guys were very helpful. I went in to have an auto car starter installed. I knew the previous owner had one installed but had taken the remote and brains of it. Another place in Ottawa told me what was left was useless and needed to be all replaced. The guys at Derand looked at what was there and were able to use the antenna left behind saving me over $200. They could have changed it out and got me for the $200 but instead did the right thing and used my working antenna and saved me the money. I wish their competitor had been as honest. Bottom line, this is a place you can trust and its locally owned which always matters to me.

Excellent experience here yesterday. I was trying to install a new car radio head unit by myself (first mistake), and then decided to cut the factory wiring harness. I was in quite a pickle and didn't know what to do, so I went to see them. A younger guy came out to my truck and looked at what I had done so far and told me what I needed to do from there. I needed an extra piece of wire to the fuse box, they literally gave me the wire i needed for free and printed out the wiring schematics. I couldn't be more impressed. Will 100% use these guys for any automotive needs in the future, and I recommend you do too! You won't be disappointed!

Awesome place for your vehicular needs. Anything you need they got you. Went to get my beamer a new radio because the old one was a pain. Bought a radio from them and they installed it at the same place you purchased it. There was some trouble with the old radio not coming out, but they went above and beyond to get it done. Happy with the new one. I highly recommend them.

Amazing customer service. A lot of young people that are very knowledgeable about products. Called not knowing what I wanted and Kyle helped me get the starter i needed. Beautiful shop, clean, nice lay out, a lot of employees getting stuff done. Always recommend them! 100%

I had an auto start put in my car and they gave me a starter that works on my phone so I don’t have remotes to put on my keys and they showed me how it work, I’m very happy with the service I received, I recommend to go to derand for your car.

Should be concerned with shopping here, was there recently with my young son to look at kids atv's they seemed to have a good selection and a fair price.problem was none of the 4 or 5 people working there were wearing mask, staff kept coming out from the back without mask or gloves as well. Bigger problem was customer sitting on multiple scooters andd kids on atv's nobody was wiping them off after.one guys sat on 4 different scooters and kept rubbing his nose.needless to say we left without making a purchase.we went last week to Arby/s in Kanata, someone wipes off the door after we came in, then wiped off the counter where we touched and the wiped off the table were we were having lunch. Mr. Derand should go to arbys and see what covid 19 protection is really like.protect you possible customers.

Could not be happier with my experience! Professional and quick service and extremely impressed with the job performed on my Genesis. Paint looks as good as it did the day I got it and the full front protection isn't even visible. Absolutely impressed and will definitely recommend this place!

I am very happy with there quick service. They installed remote starter in my AUDI Q3 (2016) for very less price and it works super good.

Not sure if its a coincidence just after I posted my review my account was hacked and my password that I have used for almost 3 years was changed, and cannot be recovered! In any event, Helen, my mother in law, remembered that Mike leaves at 2 pm so she would like to come in earlier to make sure she doesnt miss him. She is not sure about the color but favors the yellow/black. As she is moving she is not expecting the "free" delivery until the 15th of November, or so. Not looking to pick one up on
Wednesday anyway. I hope I dont lose this account too.

VERY disappointed that we never received a reply of any sort from anyone.decided that if this was the type of follow up and service that is going to get from Derand and we haven't even made the purchase we would be further ahead to buy somewhere else, paid a little more Helen purchased the Boombuggy direct from Daymak. OMG! I just got off the phone with Rogers and the agent there tells me that they get about 80 emails a day for sales in the Toronto call center! And you are telling me you get HUNDREDS of emails daily! WOW, unbelievable, actually I don't believe it! How do you handle hundreds of emails every day? You must have a huge staff, actually haven been there when we visited Mike and there was 3 people there including Mike. Sad that you must lie about something so stupid! BTW because we said we saw the Boomerbuggy on the shopping channel Daymak waived the shipping charges, you know nothing about you competition or suppliers! How can you lie your way out of that? Hundreds of emails daily? What a joke. JJH

They are the perfect place to buy a motorcycle, or an e bike. The service you get is out of this world, polite couteous, and just perfect! They are there to please, and build the perfect bikes for everyones needs! I know, for my son Thomas bought one from them, they were just the place to go to, even for your bike needs too.
