Don’t waste your time and go to this clinic. The dermatologist (Dr. Mak) was very inattentive towards his patients and doesn’t really care. He just dismisses you off with a cream and goes to whatever he has to do. He doesn’t even diagnose an individual properly. Also he body shamed a minor calling me skinny which is disgusting… Don’t go here there are better dermatologists out there I can assure you that. If I could give this zero stars I would.

Normally, when we have an appointment, we are at the office 10-15 minutes early.today we arrived only 5 minutes early, and were left in the waiting room for more than an hour, which I feel is unacceptable, given that this is a "Specialty" (Dermatology) office. Other patients that arrived late (because they went to the other office, in error) were taken into a room within 5-10 minutes.
The Dermatologist that my daughter sees, Dr. Ejaz, is warm, kind, knowledgeable and treated my daughter and myself with respect.
However, some of the front office staff I find to be extremely rude, inflexible, dismissive, and unwilling to hear you out for any matter, including if there is a conflict of appointment date/time.
For one of my daughters' (regularly scheduled) appointments, we had a conflict. I notified them, by phone, 5 business days beforehand, and reception wasn't interested in hearing the reason but was told the next available appointment wouldn't be until the new year! (It was only September!). (*During this call, I was put on hold and the line disconnected. Upon attempting to call the office again, no one would answer.
Upon sending an email (with explanation of the conflict) we were booked within 1 week of the original appointment.
This is unfortunate as I would have rated this office much higher, if not for these reasons.

Everyone was very nice and Dr. Mak is a wonderful person with whom to deal. So far so good.

This was my first visit. Dr Mak was patient, kind, very straightforward and knowledgeable. He treated us with respect and provided multiple options. He really took the time to explain things. Waiting room was not long and we were seen within 15 mins of our appointment time. I’m really pleased and will be going back if ever I need support.

Great doctors living in there. They follow up after appointment is very rare; but they did it to me. Thanks doctor.

Doctor does not actually listen to your concerns as a patient, he simply prescribes some meds and sends you back. Treating you like a problem to solve, not a patient to care for.

Try saying “goodmorning” or “thankyou”, you won’t get a greeting nor a “you’re welcome”.

Dr. Ejaz seemed annoyed to see me. I came in with a few spots, and when I showed her them she immediately dismissed them as "they are perfectly fine" without giving any form of explanation as to what those spots could possibly be. She also just sighed when I came in to ask questions as if I wasn't worth her time.

I understand that as a Dermatologist you must see many serious cases. However, it's important that people are encouraged to see their doctor when they notice any kind of new growth or change in appearance to their skin - we are always told that if you're unsure of something, see a doctor. So it really bums me out when we do just that, and the doctor is rude and dismisses you immediately and makes you feel stupid for even coming in the first place. This is why so many people don't get taken seriously or don't go see a doctor until things are too late.

I was honestly super worried after reading the reviews but It was much better than I expected.

I arrived 15 mins late because of Hurontario traffic, but I'm glad I did cause it cut out a lot of the wait time, my wait was around 30 mins

The nurse is very friendly and Dr. Mak is amazing! He understood my problems and was really helpful in answering my questions.

I visited today for my appointment with dr Mak and I must say the service was great. I didn’t had to wait and staff was friendly.
Don’t know why this place has got bad reviews.

Had a bad experience with the Doctor, he seemed uninterested in my situation it's like he didn't want to be bothered. I went to that appointment with hopes of getting a resolution to my nail issues, left there stressed and disappointed with no answers.

This is a very bad clinic, DO NOT go there.

Dr. Meghan probably just graduated from med school very recently and does NOT care. Waste of time. All the reviews about this clinic are true, which is why they have such a stinking rating. Unbelievable that they get away with this, they should be reported to the medical association for garbage patient care. Revoke their license, they are unfit to practice.

I end up not going to my second appointment bc I’ve been waiting for too long that my skin problem has gone away now.

I’m very disappointed in the experience I had here. The doctor was unable to tell me what my rash is from a million pictures I showed her since it’s wasn’t active on the day of my first visit. (Unfortunately I cannot control when any illness come or go away). She said I can come again as soon as they r visible again. I said how am I gonna get an appointment and see you as soon as they come? The first appointment I waited 3 months (from May to august). She said she’s gonna leave a note to the receptionist so they will book me as soon as I call.

So I called a couple days after my first appointment (this was still in august) and the receptionist booked me for October I mentioned my doctor said I should be able to see her right away. That didn’t help. Earliest appointment is October.

Now October is coming and my rushes has goneshocking right? How DARE my rushes to be gone AFTER the summer has ended and the weather has cooled down?
If I showed up to my second appointment WITHOUT visible rushes, she will be like ‘oh unfortunately I can’t tell what it is without seeing anything’ all over again so why waste my time by going?

These rushes been bothering me for 8 years now and I finally got a health card to be able to have a family doctor this year and I had such high hopes for this dermatologist appointment after useless allergy test. And this is how they ‘helped’ me

I don't understand what's with all the negative reviews.
I've suffered from chronic eczema for my entire life, so it's sufficient to say that I've dealt with enough dermatologists to provide an unbiased review. I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Ejaz along with her assistant, and she is the first doctor that gets it. She examined my skin, looked at old photos of my skin, and took her own pictures of my skin. She didn’t provide corticosteroids to get me out of the clinic, like other dermatologists. Dr. Ejaz aimed to provide me with better and newer treatment and guided me through every step to get there as soon as possible! What more can you ask?
Word to advice to you: do your research in advance. Identify your problem, read about it, and make an educated guess as to what it could be. Note down your symptoms, name and dosage of prescription medication or treatment and their effects on you if you’ve previously tried any. Read up on the treatment you’d like to try. Note a list of questions and concerns, so you don’t forget anything. If you want answers from a doctor, provide enough information about yourself first!

Testing moles for cancer. The wait was long but the doctor checked all and listened to my concerns. And took out the mole I was concerned about and more she was concerned about. The doctors performing the removal were all really nice and fast too. I really appreciated their service. Super nice experience unlike many dermatologist I've been to.

Had an appointment with Dr. Ajaz, she didn't listen to my main concern at all. I was there for bacterial skin infection but instead she give me medicine for acne which was my least concern at that moment. She didn't treat my bacterial infection because that was not clearly specified on my referral letter by my family doctor. IMAGINE BEING SUCH A PETTY PERSON THAT YOU SEE SOMEONE SUFFERING IN FRONT OF YOU AND YET YOU TURNED A BLIND EYE. I tried to explain to her my condition in details but seems like she was in a rush or something and didn't have 2 minutes to at least listen to her patient. Returned home unsatisfied. Since she didn't treat my main concern then, so now I'm AGAIN on dermatologist appointment waiting list with worsen condition. When I visited her I had this infection over my eyes ONLY but thanks to her for not treating me earlier now the infection has spread all over my face. IDK how such people even qualifies to be a doctor. It looks like she didn't have enough knowledge and experience. I think she just know some medicine about acne and that's all. If I had 0 star I would have given that. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE OR AT LEAST NOT TO DR. AJAZ. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

I brought my wife in for her appointment, from the start with the receptionist it was a bad experience.
My wife went in for an issue with the skin on her face and her hands.
Dr. Aida Ejaz took all of 3 min to quickly prescribe a cream with no explanation.
Did not answer my wife's question. And did not even look into my wife's hands.
The fact that a over paid pencil pushing, cream prescribing Dr. Can't even answer a simple question and was so quick to finish that she handed the papers and turned her back and left the room is absolutely unacceptable.
I've had better experiences with Walmart employees.absolute joke and waste of time.
To add to this after picking up the prescription we are told that if my wife plans on getting pregnant, she will have no option but to do an abortion due to the side effects. This is definitely something the "dr" should have brought up

I would not recommend this clinic at all. I have been coming here for almost a year and have not gotten proper treatment. Dr Ejaz does not listen to me or take me seriously. I have significant pain and itchiness due to a skin condition but she says she is 'not concerned with it' when I bring it up. She is fatphobic, at least she has some weight bias, which seems to be the reason she won't treat me properly or take me seriously. She said my weight and BMI is the reason for my skin condition (she doesn't know anything about my health though and BMI is so outdated). And basically won't treat me unless I lose weight (that's between me and my family doctor). Someone's weight should NOT be a barrier in them accessing healthcare. Even if I was unhealthy, I should still get treatment. I ended up going to another dermatologist who seems to be better. Would not recommend her at all.

Hmm. Lets see. I emailed them 3 weeks ago. Nobody has gotten back to me. I called everyday for 1 week. When you dial ‘5’ to speak to receptionist, a voice whispers ‘we are currently experiencing high call volumes & hangs up on you.i called back and pressed ‘1’ and got a hold of somebody (weirdest experince ever doesn’t even seem like a medical physicans office). And they tell me call back and press ‘5’.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Dr. Ejaz is one of the best dermatologist. I had an excellent experience at this clinic. She is warm and kind and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She answered all of my questions and was very patient. She is knowledgeable, explains everything very clearly and is overall a wonderful doctor.

So apparently if you book an appointment here and wait 1.5 - 2 months to go see the doctors, they will only see you for a few mins and only for 1 problem per appointment. If you develop any new concern during your wait time, the doctor will not check that and will ask you to make a new appointment.

I was referred by my doctor and there is no way to contact them. They gave me an appointment after a month and that also after waiting for 1.5 months for them to get back to me. There reason is simply that we are busy. Why take up so many patient when you cant coup up with it.
Then i was given a follow up appointment at 9am. They called me half an hour earlier and i missed it. I think they think we have all the timr in the world and they are the only one who are busy. Anyways as i did not know how to contact them i could not get a follow up. Dont waste your time here as they are extremely busy wasting other peoples time. Your time isn’t important.
Oh i was told i would get a free consultant by Dr. Muhammadi and guess what when i went for one, he sent one of his assistant to sell me some skin care products.

I was referred by my doctor and I've been calling for days trying to book an appointment. They don't answer calls, don't reply to requests online, fax or through email. Phone rings and then they quickly pick up and hang up. So disrespectful. Waste of time. I will be requesting to go somewhere else

I'm reluctant to provide a low rating for services at a small business in a service industry, especially during a pandemic. Unfortunately, this same problem persists now over a month and with both me and my wife who also used this service recently with the same experience. Specifically, the office on Hurantario rarely pick-up the phone and what makes matters worse is that their phone system is not setup correctly so calls are dropped because "that extension is not set up". Today I called 3 times and after ringing a number of times, it sounded like the receiver was picked up and then dropped - 3 purposely dropped calls at a medical services clinic (?)

Dr Ejaz is kind and appears knowledgeable. But I would not recommend her or this facility. Not only is she in and out of the room within 3 minutes, but she doesn't seem to listen either. I was able to see her notes on my consultation with her, and was very suprised to see she had written in the treatment plan to begin a medication which I *explicitly* refused multiple times during the consultation. Overall she frequently changes her mind on treatment plan and doesn't seem to weigh the risks/benefits of a treatment against a patient's medical history.

In the middle of this pandemic too, it was a bit unnerving to see that the facility does not clean the rooms between patients. I was told to wait for the Dr in a room that a previous patient was walking out of. Hair and scuff marks on the floor.

The walls are also pretty thin - I was able to hear the conversation that her and a patient was having in the room next to mine.

Dr Ejaz or whoever runs this clinic needs to seriously reevaluate the quality of patient care and sanitation standards.

I waited 1 month for an appointment with Dr. Ejaz just for her to come in for less then two minutes. She had a look and then left. Her assistant told me to go to shoppers or walmart for acne cream. The receptionist was unprofessional. Never coming again.

INADEQUATE SERVICE!
I had my appointment booked two months ago for a time in August they emailed me the wrong address wasting two hours in the morning even after I explicitly called to confirm the location and time. Secondly the entire staff and location is so bad! There are no covid protocols I was taken to a room a patient came out of and there were open syringes and vials still lying on the desk and the disposable chair sheets weren’t changed. Not only that I had been waiting two months for this appointment with Dr. Ejaz who was very unprofessional she did not even sit in the room for 3 minutes and kept interrupting all of my concerns and queries, she printed a medicine and left without any explanation or feedback.
