I am a home owner of a new build with homes by desantis On The Ridge since August 2018. I strongly encourage you to seek out other options when purchasing a home. I understand all new builds come with some issues. The part the disgust me the most is how this builder handles situations and how they talk to you. Ive recently found mold in my 3 year old daughters room whom has experienced a chronic cough and consistent puking, multiple trips to the doctors office. They have zero remorse for how the work they have done can majorly affect peoples lives. The response I got was that I am responsible for re caulking my windows every 2 years from the exterior of the home. Ive never in my life heard of a 5 year old home getting mold. This of course is the worst of the issues I've had, but lets not forget the roof leak I've had multiple times, with evidence of water damage on the ceiling. If you drive down the streets of homes they have already built look at all the roofs, more of them have missing shingles than not. Stange, any other homes I drive by don't seem to have that issues on every single house on the street. My floors in the main level separating and the service guy came and pulled my fridge out (which scratched my floor) and put multiple layers of caulking between the laminate and the wall to keep it from shifting. Majority of my home had to be repainted because they used two different colours. My ensuite shower had to be redone. My garage wall had a bunch of elephants with inappropriate parts drawn on them. Goes to show how hard the workers are working. I bought this house in my 20's I worked so hard and spent all my life savings on this house. You think that they would take some accountability. Every time I have contacted them its been an entire new team of people, I could only imagine why. I have all my photos from day one saved, every single email going back and forth with at least 4 or 5 different people. I just strongly encourage to stay away, spend your money on a reputable company with good customer service and good WORK!

My parents and I purchased 2 condos on Fruitland and QEW (COMO) and are completely satisfied with our purchase. Chiara Campli went above and beyond in making our closing of our condos seamless. If it wasn't for her making our closing stress free, we would have been lost. Words can't express how grateful we are. DeSantis builder is lucky to have such a phenomenal, professional employee working for them. We are so excited for the final finishes on this outstanding condo building.

It is industry standard for the Developer to perform the first clean as they create most of the mess during the construction phase. Our condo when purchased in 2020 balconies and windows were not cleaned and they were still working on phase 2. When the construction is over it has accumulated lots of dust and debris. Property management tried to get them to clean. I myself have been Sending numerous emails… for Three years I tried to get them to perform the first clean. Finally our property management company decided to clean garage and windows as it is cost effective to clean than dealing with De Santis.

I like the special concept of Aquazul and its location since I saw it for the first time. I live in Germany and there were a few challenges to manage all necessary things around the purchase, Occupancy Date, registration etc from Germany.even for an optimistic guy. I had the great luck to meet some really extraordinary people in Canada, one of them is Chiara Campli from DeSantis. She gave me in all this challenging moments good ideas and her help - very fast, very efficient and always successful.never seen this in Germany before. The services of DeSantis didn't end with the sale of the unit but went on. And without the great help of especially Chiara Campli my dream of Aquazul would not have become true. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022:
I've spoken to 3 staffs (manager, director and executive assistant) regarding my concerns. No longer returning my calls or emails. Ive asked them on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS to set up a meeting my spouse and I or a phone conference. Nothing. So unprofessional and negligent.

They have made false claims about the incident to cover their mistakes and are choosing to not be accountable for their actions. Customer service reps (if you know, you know) do a very poor job with following up on pending items and calling back with answers. A year later and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!

Purchased and closed our first home at Aquazul in Grimsby. Thus far, the experience has been terrible. I had to chase down the customer service rep to book my PDI in time before my closing (done 1 day before). PDI was very disorganized and a total mess. Had to come in last minute for reselection of discontinued products and reselection process was done terribly. Lack of integrity and negligence on new Decor manager. Don't get me started with customer service rep who says 'they understand and empathize' but they really don't. People are spending so much money on these 'luxury homes' and yet we get treated like 'oh well, take it up with tarion'. As a first time buyer, this has been an absolute terrible experience. After trying to communicate email after email and follow up after follow up re: my concerns and lack of accountability on their part, their response is 'too bad, deal with it. ' Extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience and DeSantis Homes staff. So so so disappointed.

One of the first buyer of a condo built by DeSantis. Many deficiencies and quality issues. Not being addressed. Cheap materials and workmanship. Would never recommend.
