Nice place to just stop by at 6 just to see the sunset. You can park facing the sun with a great view of the river.

Located on the Trans-Canada trail, this is an amazing spot for outdoor activities with fried and family and a breathtaking touristic site.

Have visited this site so many times.nice park in the river.never seems busy considering how many people live nearby.great views of the river.very quiet.good parking.

Let me tell you it was so beautiful omggg.this is defined a nice little spot to just relax and enjoy the waters. I personally wouldn't swim in it people mainly fish there but if u just want to sit and fish then it is beautiful. 10/10 recommended.the only issue is the bugs that start to appear after the sun goes down there were so much of them omgbut the view and everything was lovely

One of the best places in ottawa to see sunset, enjoy sands and wilderness. Beautiful place to walk or do cycling and be connected to nature. Hooked for rest of my life.

I catch the sunset along the river at least once a week all summer.very peaceful.less people than Brittania Beach.

On the Ottawa side, a quiet lookout to the rapids. On bike path. Tall pine trees and picnic tables.

Great place along the river, to drop in and catch a sunset sometimes more beautiful in colours than other. There are benches and picnic tables. You might catch a glimpse of some migratory birds like Canadian geese, Mallard ducks, wood ducks, black ducks sometimes a blue Heron in flight. Along the river you will find a path that people can hike or bike on, the scenic stroll is worth your while. You might need to bundle up as it gets can be chilliers by the water. Some people do fishing along the shoreline, take note that the area is protected by park wardens who might check to see that you have a fishing license.
