Good selection of products, the staff was nice and helpful. The prices are about market value. They range from beginner products to professional grade.

They have such a quality and varieties of craft items in this store. I've always found the staff helpful, curtious and enthusiastic. Prices are a bit higher than some of the other craft stores but then so is the quality.

Beautiful store, spacious and tidy, and quality is top notch. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for your Artistic needs!

I usually like deserres, but they haven't had the right product I have needed (and called ahead and had them put aside for me) the last 2 times I went. Their customer service is usually good though. It's just a long way for me to go to not actually getting the proper version of what I asked for on the phone. So this trip (and the last one) were disappointing and wasted my time.

Very big selection of art and craft supplies, as well as lovely workers - have been coming here since I was a child and always enjoy my time there

I felt like a kid again. My wife loved it too. We didn't buy anything but definitely will be back to. The selection is huge and if I ever need anything I'd normally go to Micheals for, I'll go here instead.

Great customer service, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a very wide selection of the most popular paint suppliers. It seems to be the only art store in Ottawa where I can buy soft pastels and accessories. Their prices are very good but there isn’t a big selection of pastels and they don’t stock brands such as Unison, Terry Ludwig, Art Spectrum, etc.which is frustrating as I have to buy online. Deserres website leaves a lot to be desired. It’s difficult to find items - they need a much better search system.

While not the cheapest place for supplies, this is the best art store in Ottawa. It's got everything you need, and lots you don't need. Perfect for gift ideas for artsy folk.

Always friendly, helpful staff. Isabelle helped us on this occasion and she really knew her products. Spoke to my 10 year old about her needs and gave good advice. My daughter adores the Posca pens! Great store, wide selection.

Used to be better around Christmas time. Went in this year to search for unique art gifts and found endless rows of expensive puzzles. If you're looking for puzzles this is the place apparently.

Not bad. Couldn't find someone to help me with questions and I didn't find anything I was looking for (translucent clay and silicone molds). But they have a lot of good supplies and fun stuff

You don't find stores like this. It's very exceptional. They are reasonable in their prices, but they sell only quality products.

Staff are cranky. It was really hard to find pastel supplies as iy was placed all over the store.

Great selection of art products. Unlike Michaels that is a bit more craft based with a small selection of artists supplies. Deserres is more geared towards artists that dabble in painting, drawing, making traditional comics, etc. They do offer a decent craft oriented selection as well.

Picked up some fun sale items today in this huge location, lots of selection with very friendly and helpful staff.

This is like a candy store for artists. I'm amateur so no huge quantities. They offer all I need. What I like the best is when you need help. Young artists work there, so you get good advice.

Lots of crafting, painting, picture frames, activities for the kids. Staff is friendly and helpful, it is a bit expensive

I was served as soon as I came in. I simply needed a white pen and the nice lady gave me a bunch of recommendation in a ultra professional way, for a simple colored pen. Friendly service is definitely pressent here. Awesome staff!

Out all the different craft store i been this store always has the best selection of suplly. Specially for animation related supply for pencils that are needed and markers.

It's heaven for people who love crafting and lots of kids creative toys are there. Although some I'd say can be found in cheaper places

What an awesome store. In terms of art supplies they have it all. I was shopping for some detailing brushes, the gentleman that helped me was great and enlightened me on the different brushes which was awesome. Lots of selection and great prices!

The store is a gem! I was looking for some paintings which I could put in my music room (listening). The store has all types of murals in different shapes and sizes! So many varieties are available, through price is a little higher. For all the people who loves painting supplies and ideas - this is the shop.

The best art store we have in Ottawa. Not always stocked well for stretched canvases especially in the larger sizes. I like that you can also order online for the things that are not available locally.

Great collection and very helpful staff. Went in for some supplies to finish up a costume for halloween, staff were very helpful getting us everything we need and also provided very helpful tips for my costume!

I think this is an amazing store with plenty of choices and amazing quality products. Also great customer service, when I couldn't find where the Gelly Roll pens where a staff member glady pointed me in the right direction. Loved it
