Love this store. Candy shop for artists. Staff is very helpful. Every time I go there is something I find.

Great for art supplies. Looks like they are rearranging so it was a bit tricky navigating with my assistance devices. Still a great store

This place is always tidy with beautiful supplies and the staff is nice. We do occasionally find a few items a bit pricier than Curry's but there is no longer one in Oakville so DeSerres wins!

You drive to this store because of the staff. I call them encyclopedias on legs. They are familiar with products and processes. They are friendly and available. I’ve gradually changed brands and upgraded tools with confidence because of the connections here. Many staff have worked at this location for years and are an art family. They know me by name when I come in. I’m quite sure this store has had the best year yet because we all just go there now.

Good store, lots of quality art materials, however their online shipping service is awful. I ordered a school art kit, the website says shipping takes 2-3 days, its been a week and according to the tracking service it was supposed to arrive 2 days ago, then it said it was supposed to arrive yesterday but nothing happened, hopefully I’ll get it today. Same happened other times I ordered from this store.

A good place to go for those harder to find art supplies! I usually call ahead and they're always good about putting the items at the cash for me to pick up.

An artist Paradise I do pencil drawings coloured pencil drawings they had some not biggest variety but the paint everything else is stores excellent. I didn't realize a new one had opened technically it's in Oakville but it's just on the border of Mississauga

Great location! They have a ton of variety for all the art supplies you could ever want and the staff were super helpful and kind!

Super friendly staff, went above and beyond to help me out with choosing the products I needed.

Extremely rude customer service. Never coming back to this branch. Didn't want to help in anyway. She was annoyed about answering product questions. Been to so many other craft stores with so much better experience. Not the place to go to especially if arts is your happy place.

Great customer service and very fast! I placed a phone order for curbside pickup and it was processed and ready for me to pick up by the end of the call. The rep gave me an alternative for an item that was out of stock and they even had a product that didn't show as available on the website, so glad I checked! Curbside pickup was easy and order filled accurately. I've been here before lockdown and never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!

This place has anything and everything related to art. One stop shop that is well organized with helpful staff!

They stock the brands I prefer and despite covid, remain fairly well stocked. The house brands that I've tried have been pretty good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy parking. Great curbside pick up during covid.

Awful experience, very rude staff and terrible store policies. I will not be doing business with DeSerres any longer

This is a real art store. All your art needs is in one location. This store has so many cool things.

Beth came in for enamel paint to colour tiny spooky game figures. We left with canvases and acrylic for our own paint night.

I came here after years looking for fancy beads for jewelry making.but, unfortunately they don't carry it any more.end up buying some paints and brushes.

This store is amazing! While many other art supplies stores are struggling to keep their shelves stocked, this store has everything you’re looking for and more! Well laid out store, plenty of parking and oooooh too many good things to buy! Loved how they put everything I bought in a paper bag instead of a plastic bag. Will definitely go back!
Update: came back here after 4 months of lock down and am amazed with the level of customer service. The staff are knowledgeable and go out of their was to help you. I came from Stoney Creek because the art store near me is open only during my work hours but the was the staff of DeSerres Oakville treat their customers, makes the drive absolutely worth it and yes, I’ll definitely come back.

This is the best location for real artists to get their supplies. Anytime I need special paint colours, (ie 357* or 358* Dyna colour for example) they are the only store I can find that carries it. (Competitors like Curry's is frequently under-stocked these days, and Michael's tends to only have the popular basic stuff.)

DeSerres is the best choice for artist's materials, and for a Canadian company I always find great prices consistently. The only downside for me is that there are so few stores in this area of Ontario!

I really enjoyed the selection of brushes and how helpful staff were. It’s a bit out of my way but the volume of supplies in here as well just the size of the space is great to get just about everything you need.
Likely to come back if I need more supplies for painting miniatures. I didn’t check if they had citadel or army painter paints though.

Nice mix of art supplies and various hobbyist type stuff. I wish they had a bigger selection of notebooks and sketch pads. Some unique ones with some design to them. Nice paint deals though.

Great place for artists and craftsmen. Wide variety of items, but everything seemed to be resonably priced. Very few staffs to provide information, but the few available were friendly and welcoming.

Whenever I have visited this store the staff have been polite and helpful. Also we've been lucky to land some good deals on items we happen to be searching for. The quality of the products have generally been very good as well. I'd easily recommend them to family and friends when looking for crafting products.

Kool place. Prices reasonable! Customer service was good. Categories organized nicely. Can find about anything artsy in here. They have stations set out to try out different games/ kids games/ and art supplies. Good experience!

I’ve never been to one of these stores. Similar to a Michaels but seems to have a lot more specifics on art supplies.

Love this store. As a novice abstract artist in acrylics on canvas, this store always has most of what I need at competitive prices. Great spectrum of colour and acrylic quality options. Great selection of canvases. Mu only complaint is I've purchased 3 deserres brand spray paint cans of white and all 3 have failed. Whether they've been sitting on the shelf too long or just poor quality, I'm not sure. Otherwise a nicely qualified 4 star rating.

Cozy atmosphere, I always come here for buying art/writing supplies. Lots of selection and there is always something for everyone here. Good for buying individual items such as pens, paints, markers etc. Staff is great and I've always had pleasant conversation with them.

Absolutely love this place so much creative stuff and such helpful employees l! Activities laying around for the kids! Amazing!

Great art store. I love the amount of different products to choose from. I mostly went here for painting and drawing supplies. Its great if you are a student as they have a plan which can earn you points which you can redeem for a discount. The staff is super awesome. They were able to help me with answers to the questions I had. I am pretty sure that I have seen some of the workers there at Sheridan, which makes sense why they know there stuff so well. Overall great environment, and prices are not bad.

This store is bigger than it appears from the outside and is filled with creative materials. They have lots to choose from but not a lot of staff to help you if you aren't sure what you need. I now check my receipt before leaving as I once was double scanned on an item (which wasnt cheap) and didnt realize it until I got home and went through everything. My fault for not paying attention.

Spacious and wide variety of art supplies. Never busy like downtown locations and other art stores. Because of their open concept space they are able to carry some big gallery canvases for a great price too. Easy and accessible parking too if you are planning to shop a bit longer. Staff is friendly and helpful if you need a suggestion.

Never been before, but I will go back! They have supplies that I haven't seen at Michael's or Currys before.

Service was very good and staff are very helpful and answer any questions you may have.

This location is not cheap but when you are looking for that one item for creative art this is the place that will more than likely have or be able to get what you are looking for in a timely manner.

The store is very cluttered with anything and everything craft related - which would be great if that's what you want.
I went to buy stretcher frames - a basic art supply item, and their stock was dismal. I suppose there isn't as much margin on those as opposed to all the gadgety things.
Also staff wasn't exactly easy to find or helpful.

I was gonna go to Michael's but then I called deserres and asked if they had a student discount reward program (something Michael's does not have) so that's what made me choose this store.when I came here I was convinced to keep this as my new preferred art store! They have EVERYTHING! And good quality stuff for good prices! They even have screen printing stuff! Amazing. I'm gonna keep coming back here:)

Greatest place for all of your creative needs! My husband who is an artist says it's the best place to shop!

Good place for art supplies. There are a lot of products to choose from. However, it would be great if prices were a little cheaper.

Love this place. I'm so happy I decided to come here over Michaels that one time a couple of years ago, because now I come here regularly for supplies. Always happy with the prices and products!

As a person who's not exactly the most artistic person, but wanted to get into something specific, the three different people I talked to were extremely attentive to my needs, didn't try and sell me something expensive when I didn't need it, and were extraordinarily friendly.

I don't even live nearby, but I will be going to this store as my primary art supply.

If customer service doesn't matter to you, or you know what you're looking for, the selection is VAST. Please pay them a visit, you won't regret it.
