Desert Lake Family Resort

We loved our cabin and location. We usually come to the lake in the summer so we were glad to see that there are now air conditioners. We were also pleased to have wifi.
The only thing we would want in the future if we came in October again is to have access to heaters in the cabin.
We asked for one heater, but it was not enough to heat our cabin and it was very cold. In the future, providing these in the cabin for guests would be appreciated.
We'll be back!

Friendly staff, clean and affordable accommodations, and lots of activities for both kids and adults…. 5/5 definitely recommend!

I have been coming to this beach since I was about 5 years old! It's nice actually being able to bring my boys here and continue making memories

Whole family had a really good time
Reserved site T2 and T3 however we all spent the weekend on one site only as we thought they were a lot smaller than they were. Ended up paying for one site we did not use. Also enjoyed out time out on the lake with the pontoon boat Sunday afternoon. Thanks

We love coming to Lazy Acres to fish for our family.we've been coming there for 15 years (less Covid). The facility was in much better order since acquisition by Desert Lake.we only had 1 issue: One of the bedrooms in #10 was listed to have a "full" bed and it is a queen size, so my fitted sheets would not work. Kitchen facilities were VERY adequet and cleaner thar in the past. Thank you for a great week!

Positive= Great stay, clean, lots to do. Negative= The small pontoon rental is dated, worn (wood covered seat broken, roof canvas torn, ignition key had to play with to work) no depth finder and underpowered (25HP)

Just the house and room very old but our stay is very interesting, the view the lake amazing.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the Waterway units. The one thing that I would recommend is to have your outdoor lights fixed. The stairs & the balconies were very dark. Safety issue.

Nice place, out in the woods experience. Super nice staff! They rooms for rent if you want to bring extra family and don't room in your site/RV/trailer. Some basic activities for kids. Good campground shop and water looks great for fishing.

I love this place! I have a seasonal site and have to say that It's a great place. Lots of amenities and the staff are fantastic!
