The food and staff were unbelievable. We had our Christmas dinner here and everyone was so kind and thoughtful to make our dinner a pleasant experience. Thank you Francesca and your staff. We will definitely be back. Merry Christmas

We went for dinner tonight and we had an amazing experience. Our food was delicious and the portions were big. Quality Italian food. Our waiter Nino Cappuccino was very kind and a pleasure to speak with. Can't wait to go back and meet the chef Giovanni Biscotti. Definitely a number 1 restaurant.

Last minute drop in as we did not know about the reservations only and they managed to squeeze us in for a limited time which was perfect. The food was friggen amazing. We ordered the grilled chicken with pasta.the rigatoni a la vodka. I was so impressed with the food for the value. I am a huge fan and will be going more often.

I ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka - it was absolutely delicious. They also will give you fresh bread before your meal!

Just remember to ask for some Parmesan cheese for the extra flavor.

I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and had an amazing experience. The thing that stood out was the service. Nino was fantastic and made our dinner experience 5 stars without a doubt. He went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect. The food and drinks were great and we will be returning soon. Thanks again Nino.

If you’re coming for the food you’re in for a great experience. While I can’t accurately rate the true atmosphere because I ate with a private party upstairs, there is certainly room for improvement if desired.

Alyssa was an amazing server. She was friendly, welcoming, and considerate. The pleasure of having her as a server could be reason enough to visit this amazing restaurant.

Really disappointing. We love this restaurant and have been coming here for years. The food is always good. But the service is absolutely appalling. The manager is rude and has zero personal skills. We waited over an hour and 45 minutes for our food and they didn’t apologize once. They were defensive and rude when we asked what was taking so long.
Like I said, food is good here but my god you will be treated like garbage.

I was there Saturday night May 13th for a family dinner 13 of us. My son next to me said mom look what’s in your plate. I looked down and there was a clump of black hair in the plate next to the knife and fork. I took the plate with the utensils to the back counter where the waiter was and said to him look what’s in my plate. I was shocked he looked at me shrugged his shoulders as if he wanted to say big deal nothing knew. Did not apologize actually he made me feel I did something wrong by bringing it to him. I shared my experience with my friends at fitness Monday morning, and to no avail they had the hair episode there as well. After hearing that I decided to do the review. It’s to bad because the food is good. I will not go back given the waiters reaction. Maybe it was his hair he’s the one with the long hair tied in a ponytail.

Today after so long I went to Desserts Plus. I used to frequent there & loved it but now I moved and had not been for awhile. Well today I went back! I Love the place! The food, the ambiance and I had the customer service. Thank you so much Sabrina our server for being so amazing & to the chefs for the delicious food. We will definitely be back again & again even thou I moved. It’s worth the drive.

I have dined-in and taken out before and the food is great. However, it's pretty ridiculous that they're unable to fulfill a take-out order for dinner when I'm trying to order at 11am. Will no longer order from here again. Don't want to feel like I'm begging.

If i could give zero stars i would. The number of thing that went wrong is so great that i have to write this in pointform.
I made a reservation for my birthday for 15 people which was confirmed 24 hrs before the reservation date. When my party started to arrive they were all sent to the wrong table and were left standing in the hallway for 30.minutes past our reservation time because nobody bothered to communicate with the staff (there were only 4 tables).
My boyfriend was cornered by 5 staff members because his food had gelatinized and he refused to eat it, and was essentially being strong armed to order another dish.
My friend also sent back her undercooked meal and they prepared her a new one even though she said she did not want it, and made her pay for it.
We had to ask repeatedly for items at our table to the point we got up and had to get it ourselves at the bar.i was forced to pay for my meal that i didnt eat nor did they replace it.
When i complained to the manager he said that he had never experienced this and didnt know what to do so he gave me 1slice of cake to share with the table. No knife no extra plates just a bunch of forks during covid.
7 out of 15 people at my table had food that was cold and inedible, and they only took off 1 meal because my boyfriend refused to pay for the mess they had brought out to him. Half the food looked like it was cooked a month ago and left sitting under a heat lamp, while the other half got hot food.
The waitress literally said "i really wish i could remember what people ordered. " while she tried to guess everyone's dishes.
This has been the WORST experience i have ever had with food and staff in all my life. I do not recommend doing any group functions at this place because only the downstairs section gets any attention.

Don’t be fooled by this restaurant’s out of the way appearance. The pasta is unlike anything I have ever had, and the grilled calamari is a wonderful addition. Good friendly service, and would definitely recommend.

It's as authentic as it gets. Service and owners are great. Highly recommended. Don't let the name fool you, this is great Italian food.

I did love this place but not so much anymore. They check for vaccine status. They were on the list of restaurants that don't. No longer coming here with friends and family. They also don't salt their calamari. They should really try it before serving to people!

The service was excellent. Tried the Napoli & Bruschetta pizza. Both were very good. Thin crust was perfect. Strong cappuccino capped the night. No frills just good food in a warm atmosphere.

The food was good the last time I came here, but the servers forgot about us. Not sure how much of that I can blame on the pandemic either, since they remembered orders from people who came in after us. It's good, but be prepared to wait.

Went there this past weekend only to have the worst service possible (It wasn't our waiters fault)
Reservation was at 4: 00, was seated outside despite seats being available inside (yes we had our proof of vaccination)
Was acknowledged by a young man around 4: 15 PM where he asked if we have been helped, we said no. The patio only had us outside at this point and 2 other families that were on their way out. Management/the kitchen didn't pass useful information to their servers like what dishes/wine was available so our waiter was completely clueless in regards to what we could have. (wasn't his fault, he was new and did his best).
We placed our order around 4: 30.was told at 5: 00 that one of the dishes was unavailable.
Our main dishes didn't get to our table until 5: 45 only because my dad had to get up to ask where our food was because the tables that came 20 minutes after us were both served quickly and got their food. The excuse was "our kitchen is held up, we are very busy". When we placed our order, inside had 3 tables and outside was only us and 2 families that were on their way out.but sure. He was brushed off.
The food was cold and the service was terrible, I'm probably never going here again which they don't care about because clearly customer service is not their first priority. I'd completely understand if we were rude and got the service we got but we were actually calm and didn't speak up until it got to an hour of us waiting for our main courses.

By far the best Italian restaurant in Vaughn! These guys just don’t miss all the menu items are delicious from pastas to pizzas to salads and desserts! Some excellent on the ball and polite staff. Only downside is their food is so delicious there is always lines or reservations needed to get in! Will always be coming back!

Our visit to Desert Plus on Oct. 15/21 was an amazing dining experience from appetizers to desert. Attentive service, huge portions, and great tasting food from an array of menu choices. The six of us will be back very soon.

Had dinner there last week. Food was 5 star, service was good but they didn't ask for covid-19 vaccine certification. We walked right in. Not good

Always a fantastic dinner. Service is always very spotty because of how busy the place is, but the food always makes up for it! I've tried most of the menu and can say nothing has disappointed!

Placed an order this evening and went to pick it up at the designated entrance/table they had set up. I stood there for almost 10 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged by any staff. I decided to leave once I saw 3 servers unmasked. I’m extremely disappointed and appalled by the lack of service and the fact they aren’t following covid guidelines

I have been going to this place a few times pre-covid, and it usually tastes pretty good. Today I was in the area and decided to buy takeout since it had been a while. It was nice seeing the patio full of people. We get home, very excited to have the food (photo attached & it looks delish). However, except the veggies, nothing tasted right. Chicken has an aftertaste & smell (I can’t describe it) and Angel hair pasta was over-salted. I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but I was disappointed with the taste. Service was good, was told to pick up food at 7: 45pm and it was ready at 8pm. Anyways, I simply want to make the chef aware & maybe someone forgot and added salt two times.

Very disappointing. Food was very mediocre and customer service was lacking. The manager had his mask hanging off his face the entire time while he served tables. It was very off-putting. Will not be going back.

Staff and management are amazing! Food is exceptional, this is a family owned restaurant with real Italian food. Always tastes like my momma made it. Simply amazing. I would ask anyone to try it and prove me wrong. Knowly problem is they give you to much food and you just can't stop eating. I give this restaurant a 5 hands down.

The food is great the portions were very big and the servers were so nice and accommodating. The service was just a little slower than what we are used too. We would go back again!

I've always loved their dishes, especially the clams with my choice of pasta. The service is great and the portions are very generous. The pizza was delicious. It's best to book ahead nowadays. The parking is free. Thank you again!

Excellent service. We had a large party of 10 people and the servers were very attentive and made sure that our night was perfect. Food was coming at a reasonable amount of time and it tasted delicious. LARGE portions that’ll definitely fill you up. Worth the price. Could have more selection on desserts considering its called desserts plus:)

First time here, we don't make a reservation so there was about a 30 min wait. I'll know for next time. Food and portions were really good and service was friendly.

I'm giving it one star because there is no option for zero stars.
This place is the worst place I have ever been to when it comes to customer service. The food is OK Trattoria style food in fair sized portions. The service however is beyond horrible. We had a waiter today who was impatient, combative and dishonest. One of us was brought an item we were all made to believe was an option as a side dish and later we were charged for it. This despite the fact that, even though he in a rude and arrogant tone, had said he would not add to the bill just 10 minutes before bringing the cheque. When we reminded him that he had made a mistake he became loud, combative and very insulting with his words. We are people in our early sixties, he told us we should go to McDonalds, we were all totally appalled by the waiter's and the manager's behaviour. We have corporate offices in Woodbridge so one of our clients had suggested it as a not great place but OK if you did not have time to make reservations since they are not required here. We will now spread the word to avoid this place and actually go to McDonald's instead at least the food is equal and the customer service is far superior.

Lets be honest this is the best food in the City at a great price. Too bad the service is awful. Would definitely return for the food. But don't expect service.

Went to a private function and the food was marginal at best. The waiting staff was just not happy to be there and it showed.

I've been coming here for years and the thought of writing a review never occurred to me, I suppose when it comes to GRRRREAT food and excellent service you don't think about it.

Very Good Restaurant. The Food is fantastic. Been going here for years. A1 Restaurant. Wood Burning Oven.

Prices are good. Service is on a slower side. Food average. May be it had to do with us visiting Monday Eve.

By far the best place in Vaughan for catered events, or hosting large parties. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. Definitely get good value here. They also offer incredible take home/catering options. Not my favourite Italian restaurant in Vaughan, but it is the best for larger events or take home dishes. Highly recommend!

I attended a beautiful celebration of life reception today at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing and delicious.

A lot of people tell me they have problems with service, but the one night I went with my girlfriend it was the best dinner I've had in a long time. Not a long wait, and amazing food. If you're looking for both quality and quantity for best prices this is the place to go to.

Incredible food at reasonable prices, plus huge portions. It is truly authentic Italian cooking like nonna made. Really busy place though, even with reservations you have to wait. But it is well worth the wait. Yummy food.

A cute Italian restaurant. Walking in, you can smell the wood burning from the pizza oven, I already knew it was going to be good. We had pizza as an appetizer, and it was great. My main course, was a four-meat dish, with a HUGE side of penne alla vodka. It tasted amazing, and filled me right up! Waiters and waitresses were decent, and the price is great for the amount of food you get! We will return another day!

I have visited this restaurant a few times, food is great and the portions are huge! You will never go home hungry, worth every cent! I find the prices to be very reasonable as they don't skimp on their dishes and the quality is supreme! A fun Italian atmosphere and our service was outstanding! Excellent food and service. This is our local Neighborhood hangout. Home made Italian Food and we are never disappointed about the portions. A must to visit if your in Woodbridge. Paula was our server, she is always so nice and accommodating.

The food was good but expensive. I paid $25 per bottle of wine on top. The service was great. When I tried to tip the waitresses directly, they insisted that I pay the 10% that they added to my food bill. I didn't like that as I wanted to deal directly with the waitress and give her the tip she deserved. I am wondering if the tip was just a way to make an additional 10% on top of the price of the food for the restaurant. It is illegal for a restaurant to take the tip instead of the employees. I was left with that feeling.

I was recommended this restaurant for its huge portion but was delightfully surprised with its great tasting menu. I really love their spicy olive oil which I dip with the bread and also thoroughly enjoyed their pasta with arrabbiata sauce and their parmigiana.

It is family run and very often packed especially at nights on the weekends. But on the three occasions that I went there, I had no problem finding a table for two.

I have heard about their alleged bad customer service but found not trace to on my visits. I was very impressed with Ramsen, the waiter, who was truly great and served us well. Keep up the good work Ramsen and you will see us there again.

First off, the restaurant is beside a veterinarian clinic-eee (I didn't eat anything because of this and family members said food was mediocre). First and last time our family will be coming here. I came for a party and the restaurant would not let individual families pay for their own meals, they would only split the bill into two Bill's and added gratuity into the bill. Which to me is another cash grab on the restaurant. There's friendlier, tastier and less deceitful restaurants in the woodbridge area.pass on this one.

Terrible service. Our server acted as if he did not want to be there (did not check on us or refill drinks). The pizza came out in 3 batches, each 10 to 15 minutes apart. How can you enjoy a meal like that? The food wasn't worth it. Not worth your time nor money.

Great Italian Food! Huge Portions! And Great Service! We had the Quattro Formaggio Pizza; spaghetti, fettuccini, and dessert (Tiramisu and gelato). A definate repeat.my only hope is that it doesn’t get too crowded! Thank you for the great food and service

Based on good reviews I was looking forward to eating here. Steak was great but service indifferent. Despite asking for napkins and waiting for long, I had to get them from counter myself. I do not recommend this place.
