This place is a hidden gem, set in a plaza right across from where I live. I wished that I would have gone to this place sooner, because Apa is an awesome and friendly lady. Always smiles and caters to what you want from the menu. The food is amazing, nice and fresh always. Been going here for a couple of months and one of the best Biryani's I've ever tasted. Definite must go to this place if you like Pakistani/Indian food.
Today we had a huge gathering together with a lot of friends and we bought food from Dhaka Biryani house and the food the absolutely Fantastic. Everyone there enjoyed and liked the food very much. Would definitely recommend trying their food.
Highly Recommended for authentic Bangladeshi taste. Had Bangladeshi style Beef Chaap kabab and luchi.outstanding and authentic taste. A must try for kabab lovers.
Very delicious food and courtsey. I ate biriyani that is super delicious. I ate beef Chap. So, sumptuous. Affordable price, large quantity. Samples to taste.
Awesome food and cordial owner. You definitely taste the passion and love enjoying the food. Kachhi and misti was phenomenal- couldn't be better! True representation of authentic Bangladeshi food. Definitely recommended and try again anytime.
Fantastic value for money, great food at great price. Baby apa and her son are very, very nice and generous people. This is one restaurant we always go back to.
Great food and service combined make them very special! We had Chicken & beef Chaap With Luchi today prepared by Kamrul was so good. Delicious! Special thanks to Baby apa & Asif! You guys are awesome. Highly recommended!
I had beef chaap and chicken chaap Alhamdulliah Beef chaap was outstanding and tender Chicken was ok Luchi was soft and superhot Very tasty very warm and and friendly service Will be back definitely in sha allah:) :)
Disgusting food! Gave me an upset stomach. City of Toronto should really inspect their procedure of serving old expired food. I even have screenshots of one of their employees mentioning their food is expired
Worst restaurant ever.very unhygienic, do not try their biryanis and chaap it is very much oily, they don’t know how to run restaurant business. Health canada should check them.
Dhaka Biryani House is your go tonplace if you want to wat any authentic bengali dish in GTA area. They serve the best fish curries, chicken kosha and gulab jamun that you can ever taste from a bengali kitchen. Should also try the variety of daal (lentils) that they serve. And, the owner as well as staff are such humble and nice people that you would feel like going back to them time and again.:)
Delicious food and generous hey customers please do not ask for free bees prices are as low as it can get-come on MC Donald cost more- we should support locals
I got the kaccha goat briyani. I didn't try it myself as I'm a vegetarian but I got it for my in-laws and they really enjoyed it. Said it was one of the best they've had in Toronto:)
I don't know why so many people have given negative reviews. Probably due the language barrier? But the take out food is really good. Genuine people. I like the Biryani and Lentil. Their Menu changes often and they offer a variety Dhaka (Bangla) food. The lady and son are really good people. I believe its family owned.)
I got their iftaar box which included chicken biryani amongst many other delicious items including a dessert. The blend of flavors were amazing in the biryani and the serving size was large. I highly recommend this place! Forgot to take pics of the actual food, will post more next time:)
Alhamdulillah, smelled of home. Happy with the portion size and sooo glad with the taste. Almost brought tears to my eyes. I can’t tell about freshness because I’m not a picky person so I couldn’t tell if it was fresh or not- but I didn’t care because the taste was so good. God bless this small business and the business owners.
Oh my god! Their kacchi is one of the amazing thing in Canada! I am a bangali girl and it’s been 1.5yrs since I moved to Canada! So kacchi biriyani is what I miss the most as I am very foodie! So couple of my friends suggested me to try their kacchi and I tried! Honestly I had zero expectations but after trying I was proven wrong! They sell the best kacchi biriyani in Canada. I wish their Kacchi was for $8 so that I could eat everyday?
Took Polao, Roast and kabab from them. It was delicious. The owner was there when I was picking up the food, he was so cordial. They know Bengali food and their chaap and kebab is one of the best in Toronto.
I drove all the way from Mississauga to this restaurant because of the excellent recommendations I received. Unfortunately they ran out of the Tehari I went for and I ended up bringing home their Beef Biriyani. The quality, freshness and taste were excellent. Furthermore their behaviour and service were also excellent. The lady who owns the restaurant was very kind; I was slightly delayed in getting my order (because they cooked it fresh) and because of that she offered me a discount. When I said I was not inconvenienced at all and that there was no need for a discount, she insisted on giving me an order of what was one of the best keema curry we have ever had. This place is excellent! I will definitely make the 30 min drive often to get take out.
Kacchi is too rich, but its okay. The restaurant looks unhygenic, im not sure how the kitchen is managed. Had beef chaap and i fell sick, please dont order that. They need to up their restaurant hygeine or else im 100 percent sure that food inspectors will shut this place down
I wish I could give a better review. However, I was extremely disappointed and couldn’t help myself than giving a poor rating. I went to this place after hearing a lot of good things specially the food quality. But to my utter disappointment it seems they are not serving fresh foods. I had ordered their Signature dish Kacchi biriyani and the taste was not good. We experienced stomach bug very next day. While eating we could feel that something was wrong due to a bad odour usually you get from rotten foods. No complaints with quantity served but I felt that they wanted to get rid of the food quickly. Overall I think they need to improve significantly on overall hygiene level. I love to support our community but they also need to realize how to treat customers properly in this competitive market. I will strongly request customers to think twice before ordering from this place.
I was suggested to give Dhaka Biryani House by a fellow mate of mine. So there I went, 45 kilometres from home to a quiet side street near Danforth Village, where I'd usually go for the Bangladeshi delicacies.
The store's owned by a mother and son, and they are extremely friendly. There's a gentle hint of being at home inside the store. The food over here are more than just delicious, they are addictive.
I'd personally suggest trying out their Kacchi Biryani and Luchi Chaap, best I've had in my time here in Ontario.
The best kachhi biriyani at Toronto! Taste: 10/10 Texture: 10/10 Those who are craving for kachhi please pay a visit here, you won't regret. Or anyone visiting Toronto don't miss this must try item.
Food tastes really bad.they don’t maintain hygiene. 0 cleanliness. I would never go back and won’t even recommend.level of customer service dissatisfactory.
Great place and food, the way i like it, spicy. This was the only place where I could find Goat biryani and I must say the Goat biryani was great. We have been to this place 3-4 times and the food tastes great.
The restaurant is quite small but the ambience is nice. I would suggest trying this wonderful restaurant in Scarbrough.
The place is not good for dine in. But recommend for take away. The owner Baby apa is very friendly and understanding. If you request, she will increase your order items like Kebab, Rice etc for free.
The parking is horrible though and the atmosphere of the inside is not upto the mark at all.
