I think they were wrongly came into this courier industry, unable to feed the address properly in their system which is the basic requirements for this business. Even after updating the address by us on their portal the delivery person couldn’t able find the location. Terrible customer and delivery service. Have gone more than a week and still not received my package yet…

I wish there was an option to rate it as 0. Pathetic service. The way they kept my order on hold for no reason and kept showing will be delivered by end of the day. I shifted the delivery address to pickup thinking I mighr get it on time, however their driver did a brilliant job by never going to that place and marking the premises as closed when its open. You guy's rock at providing worst shipment service and customer service in Canada. Thank you for ruining my event.

The worst delivery experience.
My shipment has been sitting in their warehouse for 6 days and I told them I’ll come pick it up. I need to take it with me and leave the country. For the second day, I am getting an email attempted delivery notification. In fact, no one left a note at my door, or ever use a BUZZ (I would see it on my phone) to get inside the building. I strongly believe, that no one even tried to deliver the package. I am very disappointed with the Canadian part of DHL. If you can’t provide and communicate with your customers, you shouldn’t sign contracts that you can’t fulfill. For my part, I don’t feel like traveling across the city to pick up a pretty heavy parcel on my own time and more money, as it defeats the whole definition of delivery service.
P. S. Thanks to Huma Yousif, the Complaints Team Lead a week later problem was resolved and they delivered the package. I hope they revise the delivery functionality, as its not use of delivery team that does not deliver packages. Thank you again. And I hope to have smooth and flowless cooperation in the future.

I had paid for the delivery. But they forced me to go for the delivery myself, and they charged me 28 dollars again. That is, they charged me more than the money I paid for the purchase. Of course, I still don't know if I will receive my package after several days. If you are waiting for the package to arrive with this company, know that they will send you several emails every day so that they can get more money and force you to pay again for the delivery of what you bought. Yesterday, I had to go to their recommended place to deliver my package. It was not closed. No one answers the phone they gave. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Useless useless useless. Totally unprofessional, absolutes JOKE of a shipping company. Only issues with DHL. Workers can’t read simple sentences. Requested to have the doorbell rang when my package was dropped off. This did not happen, obviously. Come to find out then the package was stolen. After filing a claim and waiting 10 days, Yes, TEN days they denied the claim. Extremely disappointed with how DHL treated this matter, basically told me i’m SOL and to figure it out. Pathetic

When the package was shipped they said it would arrive last Friday. Now it is Tuesday and it is still not here. I called today to find out where the package is since the website falsely says the driver attempted to deliver it. At the phone I was told that I have to pay duties but they refuse to send any documentation/invoice about the duties. The package will not be brought to the address before I pay. The package is a present from my mom so by Canadian law should not be subject to duties. I find this refusal of provide documentation troubling. Horrible service. I will never use it again.

Horrible experience. Lies after lies. Initially the payment didn't show on the system, than they never delivered my package at home stating that the payment isn t's showing, than that I need to go to pick up the package from their office in Brampton, because I wasn't home. I was home the whole day but the fail to knock on the door or ring the bell.

The worst courier service.
• Does not inform of duties before a delivery attempt. Then the driver who is probably misinformed attempts an unsuccessful delivery.
• Even after payment is made on this same day, DHL does not initiate next-day delivery.
• Multiple calls to service representatives without resolution; There is no evidence of service representative notes or steps to the resolution being available to the appropriate warehouse and employees. Therefore, no solution occurs. Still, after days, no package was redelivered.

The worst service. They just remove items from your package if it's not allowed and throw them in the office without even informing the customer. I had to personally visit multiple offices to find out where the missing items were and why they were not shipped. They don't even inform the customer why the item is being removed. Such a horrible experience. Will never recommend anyone to use DHL again

My review is not about this particular DHL office, but about services of DHL in GTA. DHL used to be competitive and precise in serving customers. Not anymore: in the past half a year they miss scheduled pickups, showed up without envelops (despite clear instructions on their website to bring them), they guarantee express delivery in 3 business days and charge accordingly - and then fail to deliver in 10 - all the while without notifying you (again despite clear instructions to do so on their website). And they refuse even a partial refund request (and do so in an express manner & on time). Canada Post's comparable service is much cheaper and probably more reliable. COVID related excuses have expired long time ago DHL. Wake up DHL! Stay away from DHL till they return to their former selves.

Very poor customer service. Long story short, my package arrived in Ontario Sept. 21st, sat in a warehouse for 2 weeks. Tried to contact DHL, kept saying it was out for delivery. It was a challenge to speak to another human on the phone, when i finally got through she informed me of an issue with my address. I wrote "12th line", she informed me it should have been written as " twelfth line". Seriously. Once she got that fixed she told me it would be delivered Oct 11th. It wasnt. After 3 days of trying to track this package and contact someone who could help me at DHL i learned it was supposed to be delivered by a 3rd party delivery service. Tracking with them got me nowhere. Luckily i was able to reach out to a friend of a friend who works for this company who informed me this package has been in their warehouse for weeks, they have been attempting to contact DHL for weeks for further instructions. They allowed me to pick it up myself. I paid a lot of money for shipping, i ended up tracking this package myself over the course of 2 weeks, reaching out to the contractor myself then driving to pick it up myself. I feel as if i hadnt have pursued this the package would still be sitting in the warehouse and i may never have recieved it. I understand issues come up but it shouldnt be a challenge to speak to a company representative and resolve the issue. This delivery was nearly a month passed the promised date and contained parts that were time sensitive. Extremely frustrating every step of the way. I may contact the manufacturer of the parts within the package and let them know my struggles involving DHL, hopefully it will save someone else some aggrevation down the road.

My international package is appearing in tracking as custom event for the past 10 days despite providing all desired documents for which I have received confirmation. I have tried calling the customer care many times, but unable to talk to a person, it is always automated message. I have even emailed them with no response. Unable to understand why there is so much delay in clearing.

I am utterly shocked by the poor customer service I have received this past holiday season. The disorganization is so real and customer service doesn’t seem to take their job seriously. I have spoken to multiple customer service reps in the past 10 days and my packages still have not been delivered despite duties being paid and all necessary delivery information provided multiple times. DHL has also delivered to my address multiple times before so I really do not understand why this experience has been so difficult. It does not give me confidence in the company and if I can avoid using DHL in the future I will.

They have the most insensitive and rude driver ever who lacks sensitivity training towards elderly people, yelling at my elderly parents to come downstairs to pick up the package from his van outside our apartment building while away they have difficulty moving. Cruel and inhumane. And DHL for a whole year now has done nothing, they say "we assure you we will talk to the driver" yet it happens again anyways. They don't care the driver has the power to do what he wants, when he wants however he sees fit any time. The courier calls us to warn us if we don't come downstairs and meet him by his van, then he will say we weren't home. Even though he shouldn't be calling us to begin with and should be following instructions and leaving the package with security or in front of our home. He is a nightmare and this location is a nightmare with no professional manners and someone from head office should look into them as we are very close to pressing charges from the stress and fear caused by their courier every time we are expecting a package, we are scared something is going to happen to us from their aggressive driver. Emailed so many times, called so many times and no one cares. Sickening and very disgusting.

I have contacted dhl customer service 5 times in the past 3 days trying to get my package delivered. Each time I am told that I never paid the duty, yet I have and they then tell me that they can see I paid. I was also told that someone would be calling me about my delivery within two hours, and two days later, still no call. The past two days my package has gone out for delivery but then keeps saying delivery not accepted. They have not been very helpful at all. I do not recommend. Very frustrating.

Disgusting service that I received today from the DHL DRIVER. I would not even give one star rating if i have that option
THE DRIVER Buzzers ME AND Tells me that i have a package BY THE TIME I GO DOWNSTAIRS TO PICK UP MY PACKAGE THE DRIVER LEFT. Today i have been waiting the whole day at the door waiting for the dhl package and i get an email that SORRY WE MISSED YOU. This has been going on Since two days i have been receiving the same email that sorry we missed you.
I had to call the DHL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE and spoke to ROCHELLE
AND called the DHL Brampton office call center and spoke to Afroz and Ayesha to complain a file against the driver

I will not recommend anyone to use DHL SERVICE

Never use this company to ship. If you’re a business this is will ruin your relationship with your customers. Especially if you’re shipping overseas. I purchased around $40 worth of product at a shop in England and had to pay almost double to ship it. Then when it’s half way. I get messages stating that I owe $40 in duty and taxes. So I requested for self-clearance, 4 times. This was in October. Never received the forms for self-clearance and was forced to pay their blackmail fee which is attached below. Turns out the duty wasn’t $40. DHL just wanted $20 to process and order that I paid delivery for. That’s double dipping and dishonest. The packs arrived in my city on October 26th. I requested self-clearance two days before. Their customer service will tell you one thing and then do nothing. Oh and yes, they taxed the tax fee. I didn’t know you could tax taxes. But hey, what do I know

Worst company and customer service to use for shipping

I waited for a call back from a supervisor and when I got one they were incredibly rude, they kept asking me if they can end the call and did not want to solve the problem of my shipments that I have been waiting to receive for over a month now.

I dont mind paying double the price to use FedEx or any other courier, DHL has absolutely the worst delivery experience, has the worst customer service and nobody actually wants to ever help

PAINFULLY INCAPABLE is the only way I can describe my experience this past week. Consecutive days I was told "Sorry we missed you", when in fact I had been waiting at my door the entire time. NO doorbell, NO call.just lies in my opinion on their attempts. Finally scheduled a pick up at Penguin Pick-Up as to avoid another failed attempt and risk having my parcel returned to sender, which was 20 minutes out of my way. The 1Star is as low as I can go, but a shoutout to the operators and Penguin for their integrity.can't say so much for the logistics team. If I had the option of selecting the shipping company on my future orders, it WOULD NOT be DHL

I am 8 months pregnant and have ordered a diaper bag that was being delivered through DHL EXPRESS. They sent me a notification that it was going to be delivered on October 12th but decided to deliver on October 10th and 11th when I was not home to accept it.

On October 11th the delivery was shown as delivered with no acknowledgement from me and when I went home, there was no package anywhere. The package has been missing since the 11th.

Since this error, I've spoken to numerous people at DHL EXPRESS. They've gone from trying to retrieve the package, to it being lost and submitting a claim, to the driver redelivering the package and once again, it was delivered incorrectly.

I have confirmed my address 5 times with everyone who has spoken to me and handled my case. I want to understand why the driver can't 1) call me when he is here which I have requested over and over again and 2) deliver to the correct address listed

It's been a frustrating experience and especially being pregnant and now having to worry about this - hasn't been the best experience.

Tomorrow I will be awaiting for another update on my waybill but I am writing my experience here because I want to express that I don't want to be waiting another week for my package. And I hope my story adds on to all the other ones on here that DHL Express is not the way to go. If you have the choice, don't choose DHL.

Terrible company to deal with i recieved a shipment in August then received 2 customs bills 2 months later after the fact, stating I was required to pay and it was overdue. I am still waiting on my other shipment that was sent to them in August and they still have it and they keep giving me the run around do not use this company. They have terrible customer service and will either just transfer you around or hang up on you.

Driver is lost, I see him stopping in front of the house and then drive away and now status say 'not accepted'. Now the delivery is delayed by 3 days. Where did the driver tried to deliver the package? With all the gadgets and technology the loser driver does not know how to read address. What a horrific service in 2021! DHL should not be in business of delivery

One of the Worst International Courier Service from DHL - I don't understand why the DHL Delivery guys Fake deliveries and tell that the recipient is not available at Home. If you cant run the Business Close it. My package has been put on hold for last 2 days and the Call center is also useless. 2 times i have updated all the information but still the shipment is on hold.

Worse courier service I have ever came across. I was home and suddenly received message that no ones home when our delivery person approach. Why this lie! I am supposed to receive all 3 parcel together but at first I receive two of them and my 3rd one is still not delivered. I call customer care multiple time but all they respond is lie.

We payed for a service and it should be met. I called DHL if my package will arrived on time for my daughter birthday as it was schedule for Aug 23rd and bday is on the 21st.this was at 8: 30am soon later i got my package at around 12: 30pm!

Never ever use this company. The people who deliver for this company are either 100% uneducated and cannot read English or they are very lazy or they are very good at lying to their bosses. My name is literally written on the front directory and the person never bothered to call my cell or my buzzer code. Now I have to drive 45 minutes to this place and pick up my package! Have been waiting for it since two weeks and every time you talk to a new customer care rep and get false promises of getting delivered. NEVER USE DHL.

This location seems to boast one of the most incompetent staff - employees keep conveying conflicting information and asking customer to 'please wait' without any real answers.

DHL Brokerage repeatedly asked for new documents for customs clearance, informed me that package was released and pending delivery, and then completely stopped replying to my emails and calls when package failed to appear.

After spending days calling and emailing the office and speaking to over 12 different employees, a long, inefficient and incompetent investigation was launched. The investigation lead claimed after days of 'please wait' that my package is pending physical inspection from customs and nothing DHL can further do.

Eventually, after 2 months of struggle, one day I requested for self-clearance and completed the clearance and self-collection of package from Hamilton within 40 minutes. Even then had to call three times to get the documents for self-clearance and was provided the incorrect address for the DHL Hamilton depot.

Always use self-clearance option instead of dealing with incompetent staff (especially Jill B, Sandeep B, Ravneet K) who are either clueless or deliberately falsifying information.

Their service is the worst by far! Their costumer service is even worse! I had a package coming from Istanbul and it arrived in July 29th at the warehouse. Since August 5th I have been trying to get a hold of my package. They transferred me to a costumer care advisor and she kept sending me the same email everyday saying she will update me next day. I called her last week on Friday and someone else answered and told me that she’ll call me in the next hour but she didn’t. I called today at 1pm they said the same thing and she never called. Every time I call them, they just tell me they are trying to contact to the warehouse. She also asked me pictures of the items on the package and I sent them. They don’t give me any explanation nor an answer. DHL is the most unprofessional, unorganized, and a horrible company.
