I had heard about this place for years and finally tried it out. Really comfortable atmosphere, great service, and the food was delicious! Easy to find something you want on the menu, lots of standard choices for Italian food. I would eat here again.
We had a great experience at DiGusto's. This is my second time being here, first I just got a Margherita Pizza to go. The Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini was delicious. Not overly potent in pumpkin flavour but more so the spices that accompany it, cinnamon and nutmeg. The chicken pesto was good. The chicken was moist. The service was welcoming and attentive. This seemed to be the only busy spot in Sudbury on a Monday night and I see why. The make most of their menu items from scratch: pizza, pasta, charity bread (all proceeds go to a charity).
First time guests (Sun Oct 15) and we were blown away! Great atmosphere, awesome service (Hailey, thank you for the recommendations!) and fantastic food - antipasto salad & spinach dip mmm mmmm good, pizza was really well done, balsamic glaze was devine, desserts were delicious. Thanks Di Gusto for such a wonderful dinner, we'll definitely see you again:)
Atmosphere was good, wait staff were average, food was great except for a couple rogue toppings that didn't belong on her pizza - including a mushroom that she hates.
The reviews is what made us try it. We are so glad. It was outstanding! Spinish dip and our pasta was delicious. We ordered pizza to go for our dinner. I'm sure it's not going to disappoint. Thank you!
It’s been a while since we have eaten here, the last time we went was on our wedding anniversary, we made the trip from London and I was very excited to eat here… however… when I got the pasta with meatballs I found hairs.yes plural. I couldn’t eat it and sent it back. They didn’t charge us for the meal which was very much appreciated. Everything else was amazing. I would definitely try again! This review shouldn’t deter anyone away from this place, just telling my experience
We ordered takeout and it was wonderful. During the shutdown due to covid in Ontario, it is nice to have a gourmet pizza every now and again and this place lives up to the challenge! Thin crust, wood oven baked, customized. Can't beat it. Eat in is always excellent as well. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing, havent had a bad experience yet. Service dining in before covid (idk if they still do dine in right now) was great, food was amazing and so delicious. Highly recommend and will be getting it many times more
Abrupt end to an evening. Last week friends met up after months of not going out or seeing each other. The wait staff were very attentive and spot on with each order. Calamari starter nice presentation but lacking flavour. The pizza (we had arugula and caprese) has flat tasting dough but the toppings were generous and fresh. At 8: 32 (upon all 6 remaining tables having paid their bills) the owner came out and asked us to leave, get out now ‘no shenanigans, the alarm is set for 9: 00, leave now’ The most unsettling experience of 4 50something women’s lives. It was an unfortunate experience to say the least. Obviously all businesses are under duress with COVID however, there are many ways to deliver a message.
DROOL. Pizza, pasta, wine? Everything I need to be happy. Di Gusto has a top notch menu, amazing wine list and tasty cocktails. The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is stunning. I always look forward to dining in or taking out a delicious meal.
We stopped in this cute little place for lunch yesterday. What a surprise we got when we walked in. It was a very quaint authentic Italian restaurant. Not just a pizza place. Food was excellent.very authentic. Everything homemade.right down to their oils.which we ended up receiving a jar of their hot pepper oil. Thank you for your hospitality and we will be back to try your dinner menu.
Great restaurant for Italian food. First time I ate a lasagna and if you are not very hungry this plate can be shared. We come back a second time to eat the burrata again and enjoy a Muskoka Beer.
The food here was great and the service was prompt. This is a popular spot so it was busy (and a little loud) when we went there for supper. They have a small but nice selection of local craft beers.
Ambience is good. The food is expensive. I didn't like the taste of pizza and pasta. It may be because i like food with spices (I throughly enjoy Dominos, Pizza Nova). Pasta was sweet. As it was my first time eating here, I couldn't tell whether it supposed to be sweet.
What a meal! We were blown away - a true testament to the fact that house made food and attention paid to quality makes for really good eats. The Sicilia (?) pizza special is praiseworthy. Wood fired pizza and fresh pasta executed to near perfection. One day we will drive the 6.5 hrs just to come back for the pizza. I will dream of it.
Cette endroit est tout simplement parfait! La bouffe et le service! Un gros merci à Melanie qui est une serveuse incroyable et super! Bon succès dans ton futur!
Took my daughter here for a quick dinner and it was well worth it as always. Generous portions, friendly wait staff and delicious food. If you enjoy thin crust pizza from a wood fired oven, this is the best place in town. Their pasta servings are huge and the selection is great.
The place can get pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays, and it can get pretty raucous, but that's the flair about the place. It's supposed to have that open air big extended family dining room feel to it. Find a chair, sit down at the big table and let nina feed you until you burst. Mangia!
Visiting friends from out of town and they suggested we all eat here for some delicious, belly filling food. Would 100% come back. Atmosphere is welcoming, staff are very friendly and the food is so fresh. You leave feeling full and satisfied. Wish there was one in Toronto!
Excellent service, friendly staff, veal parmesan was perfect and a portion good for 2 meals. Charity bread was great with olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided. Spicy oil was to spicy for my taste.
The evening starts off with a warm welcome, Devine wine recommendation. Once the food arrives: Each bite that is taken, the world stops for a brief moment, & you find yourself full of a sense of gratitude towards your food and its creators.
Di Gusto, Authentic taste, feel and warmth. Thankful we get to share such a marvelous restaurant with our loved ones and sudbury
The only regret you have, is not having more time.
Three of us shared the caliente pizza, gnocchi (big size) and spinach dip and was impressed. The pizza had a light, airy yet crispy crust, the spinach dip is super cool as bread is baked over it. The dip is whipped or something and very flavorful with some artichoke. The gnocchi is to die for. Wow. Its a rose/vodka sauce. Delicious! I'll definitely be back.
The two stars are strictly for the Spinach dip which was very good. The pasta dish (Gnocchi) was decent. But, the vegetarion pizza was horrible. It had no taste and flavors. The deep fried fish (Cattua Della Settimana) made me extremely sick with abdominal pains, discomfort and frequent visit to the washroom.
If you want authentic Italian food in a nice relaxed environment this is definitely the place to go. We've sat at a table in a quiet corner and also enjoyed watching pizza made in the oven while sitting at the oven bar. It's our "go to place" to eat and want to show it off to all of our friends.
