If I could give Ashley Sitko a five star I would. It was very easy to work with her. I cannot give you 5 because my case is still open since 2019. I do realize it is because we are delaing with the city of Sudbury but still.

Theres to many lawyers involved with your case they lose information one lawyer doesn't know what the others are doing they don't communicate diamond is like students working for your case asking for the same info over and over because of not transfering your file properly very disatisfied

I came to Simon Diamond because, I know I was unable to help myself, through a terrible accident. He was with me from start to finish, day and night, he and his experienced team, brought me out of the darkness, helped me rebuild my life. I will never use diamond and diamond again. I was hit by a car on my electric scooter. Still have the scratches from sliding when the car side swiped me. SHOWED the lawyers my back from sliding sideways after the car hit me. Went to physio that the lawyers appointed AND EVEN THOSE DOCTORS stated they couldnt understand why Diamond and Diamond were working the way we were experiencing. They made false promises, forced me to go back to work due to their incorrect handling of my situation and didnt even allow me enough time to thoroughly talk to those i needed for financial assistance.i did everything i was asked and my body is still not better. I am actually worse off now, because i listened to them. I reached out for help and i feel manipulated and treated like a number. I asked for Bipolar and ptsd therapists due to the accident; causing severe mental health problems and after falsely being promised the help i needed they would just stop doing things and not say anything until i asked " why has not this happened yet". I was told information took more than a month to retrieve even though it would take 30 seconds on the phone or by email for myself to get the police report, doctors records and even further help with my collar bone. Now being told they do not want to represent me because they do not believe the accident happened. I have this in writing and this is why i'm terrified to leave my house every day. I do not trust businesses after this now. I now have to seek out a whole new lawfirm and im also still dealing with vertigo and concussion symptoms from how hard i was hit. Do not use Diamond. Its not about you and they drop you when you call out their toxicity. As my human right i have the freedom of speech and yet since august 10th ive felt trapped by this business. Research lawfirms heavily before signing anything.

BOTTOM LINE. The fact that Diamond had the audacity to say i did this to myself just to find a way out of helping me is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND USE ANOTHER FIRM.
Recently sold our house and purchased a new one.
The law clerk that was assigned to us for the selling / purchasing of our homes made a MASSIVE error leaving out real estate commissions from the final ledgers that were provided to us, which was close to $12,000. The day prior, we were given a final amount to transfer to D&D in trust to close on the properties, we thought everything was good to go. Thankfully, I caught the mistake the day of for the missing commissions amount, and when brought to the law clerk's and lawyer's attention, we were basically told "sorry, we did miss that, you need to now transfer us the remainder of the funds or we will not close within the next 2 hours. " Basically holding us hostage and opening us up to lawsuits should the closing not have gone through.
Absolutely disgusted with how this was handled after the closing. We brought our concerns to the managing partner and were basically told to pound sand and that D&D weren't responsible for the mistake, which is outrageous. I shouldn't be catching a huge mistake like this at the 11th hour. You pay a legal firm thousands to be knowledgeable in these types of transactions that they complete everyday and D&D fell massively short to deliver.
USE ANOTHER FIRM AT ALL COSTS AND DON'T GIVE THESE IMCOMPENTANT LAWYERS ANY MONEY.
