Amazing experience, super gorgeous trail.
Flo, Jack and sierra were great and super knowledgeable. They have a donkey named popsicle and she is the CUTEST thing i’ve ever seen lol.
10/10 recommend

Overall I had a very positive experience. First, I came with kids for a pony ride, owners were very nice and it seems like horses are in a very caring hands. I came back for a mountain ride, which was 1 hour long. The ride was enjoyable, we went through the woods and up the mountain, spotted a deer.
I gave 4 stars only because the website suggested that they accommodate riders of all levels, but in fact, the ride was a slow walk.
Still a great experience!

What an awesome place to go! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The horse ride and trails are beautiful. We even got to see a doe and her baby drinking from the pond. I'd highly recommend anyone who wants to ho on a relaxing horse ride to try Diamond J Ranch.

The worst experience I have ever had somewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could.
A friend and I were staying down in the area for a few days and we googled what to do in the area. This place showed up and we noticed it was only a few minutes up the road so we thought we would just drive down to see if they had anytime to do a trail ride that day. When we arrived this one lady who was lovely (the only nice part of this place) told us to come with her out to the ring, that the lady that does the trail rides was out there doing pony rides and she would tell us if there was any time. When we got out there she told us to have a seat she would grab her, the lady that was I charge of the trail rides proceeds to walk passed us and the other woman shouted those are the girls Flo. She looks us up and down and tells us to come back to the office with her, so we’re thinking she has time and we have to sign some paperwork.
We get back into the office and there was 5 people in there waiting to go out on their scheduled ride, she tells us to have a seat. Again we’re thinking great we’re going to get to go out and just has to sign in the pre booked people first. Boy were we wrong.
Once she finishes up with them she calls us over, the first thing she asks me is “so I have to ask you a personal question” how much do you weigh? ” Then proceeds with “more than 230? ” I was completely floored as she asked me this in front of EVERYONE, very loud. I said no I’m no where near that. Then she proceeds to ask us if we are in the area till next week as they are full for trail rides. We said no we are leaving tomorrow. She then tries to tell us we should come back in the fall because the colours are beautiful and goes on and on and on. Also tells us it’s cash only and it’ll be $94.
I would normally never write a review about a place but the unprofessional and fat shaming was too much, all we had to be told from the START was that they didn’t have time today, that’s all we wanted to know but instead proceeded to make us wait 15 minutes to humiliate me in front of a group of people. I will never return to this place and I want to warn people so they hopefully don’t have to go through is experience either.

A true rustic experience - our family (incl.kids 7 and 10 years old) had a wonderful time. Their horses are exceptionally well trained, and our guide did a fantastic job. The ride for even the younger kids was very scenic - over small bridges across streams and up into the woods. Look forward to going back later this season. Highly recommended.

Disrespectful owners who have little to no care for their customers.
This is a "cash only operation" which should hv been a huge red flag! There are very expensive and very rude.
There is limited info ahead of time about the rules. Be aware that there is a 225 lbs weight limit which you learn about once there. The weight limit is fair.
The lack to customer consideration and "fat shaming" is not.
Horrible experience. Never again.

Ride and the horses are great and I love that people are real. They are not some wannabe ranchers, they are real ranchers who love and care about horses! They are slightly expensive but.
