It's always good to dine at this place - excellence in oysters, clam chowder, seafood, etc. Highly recommending.

Buck a shuck night. Oysters were delicious, beer was cold and a nice compliment to the oysters. Service was iffy, was good when they came, but sometimes getting the server's attention was an issue, not enough servers on duty. Overall, very good and will go back.

If you're a seafood lover, this is the place to go. All the items in the menu are very fresh!

This is the better Diana Seafood and the original. Always good service.good food and good drinks. My go-to for North American style seafood.

Excellent food, excellent service. If you want fresh seafood with a variety of options in Toronto at a reasonable price, then you need to head to Diana's. As a an added bonus, their fresh seafood market, which is located behind the restaurant, is perhaps the best seafood market in Toronto.

Can't believe parking is free at this popular Oyster Bar and restaurant. All the oysters are yummy and super fresh. They taste just like it came out of the ocean. The lemons and sauces bring a burst of flavor with the oysters. The seafood sampler is so good that you want more. Chilean bass is tender and melts in your mouth. Butter rice is fluffy and pairs well with the dishes. Best Caesar drink ever, the acidity and salty balance is perfect! The staff here are friendly and the service is excellent! Any appetizers or main dish will get you the $1.25 Malpeque oysters! Very reasonable in terms of quality and price. Service was great and overall enjoyed the experience.

Popped by for a quick lunch and everything was amazing. Super fresh tasty $1.25 oysters with no bits of shell. The mussels were so good in the white wine garlic and the clam chowder was thin but still tasted great. I will certainly be going back I think they are just as good as Rodney’s and much cheaper. The service was also top notch

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Diana’s Oyster Bar and Grill for a birthday celebration and I must say, the restaurant exceeded my expectations.

To start, we indulged in a variety of oysters from the east and west coasts, including Sun Seeker, Marina’s Top Drawer, Lucky Lime, South Bay Blonde, and Glidden Pt, all of which were shucked perfectly and had a fresh and delicious taste. The condiments that accompanied the oysters were also delightful and expertly paired.

As appetizers, we ordered the Diana’s Clam Chowder (small, 7.00 CAD) and Appetizer Sampler (for two, 42.00 CAD). With each spoonful of the Clam Chowder, we were greeted with a smooth, velvety texture and a bold flavour that was a perfect balance of savoury and slightly salty. The creamy broth was rich and satisfying, making it the ideal starter for our meal. The Appetizer Sampler was an even bigger hit, offering a diverse range of succulent seafood options that showcased the freshness of the ingredients used. From juicy prawns to crispy calamari and juicy scallops, each bite was a taste explosion that left us eager for more. The sampler was a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Diana’s Oyster Bar & Grill and a perfect reflection of their commitment to using only the finest and freshest ingredients in their dishes.

The entrées at Diana’s Oyster Bar and Grill did not disappoint, as I was thoroughly impressed with my Grilled Atlantic Salmon (30.00 CAD). The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crisp skin on one side and a tender, flaky filet on the other. The shiitake and fennel cream sauce that was paired with the salmon was a perfect addition, adding depth of flavour to an already delicious dish.

Additionally, the cocktails were a highlight of the meal, especially for those who enjoy sweet alcoholic beverages. I tried Blue Hawaii and Under The Sea (10 each) and was impressed by their flavours, although those who prefer a stronger liquor taste may find these cocktails lacking in potency. Overall, the food at Diana’s Oyster Bar and Grill was delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal.

I would like to point out that when making a reservation, it’s important to be clear about your seating preference, whether indoor or outdoor patio. During my visit, I made a reservation for 7 PM, but we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for seating as all indoor tables were occupied and only outdoor patio seating was available.

Our server, Wilson, was a true gem, providing excellent recommendations and being attentive, friendly, and prompt. He checked in on us regularly to ensure that we were having a pleasant experience and the food was to our liking. He truly made the dining experience exceptional. The seating at Diana’s Oyster Bar and Grill was both comfortable and charming, as we were seated in a private booth area.

Additionally, the restaurant offers free parking in their lot. The seafood market next door, Diana’s Seafood Delight, operates a food service distribution center, providing quality fish and seafood to some of Toronto‘s top hotels and restaurants.

In conclusion, I was thoroughly impressed and pleased with my experience at Diana’s Oyster Bar and Grill. I cannot wait to return and savour their delectable offerings once again.kellychan360

Everything we ordered was beyond our expectations! The white wine garlic sauce for the mussels, seafood stew, and the fresh oysters were so incredible. We're very satisfied and will definitely go back soon again!

Great spot for some fresh oysters, Try the muscles with the spicy Thai sauce, it's not too spicy for me, however it was really flavourful. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for seafood.

Oyster is very fresh and opened properly.

The horseradish is fresh as well.

Sea bass is a must try. Crispy on the outside and buttery inside.

Seafood stew is also very good but u have to dig in with your hands to get that meat from crab leg.

The lamb rack we ask for medium rare and were cooked to perfection.

Price is above average, but portion is generous as well so it can justify.

Overall a very nice dinner and service is top notch.

The oysters and seafood were fresh and yummy, and the service was good. Everyone working there was also polite and helpful despite how busy it was. The main issue we had was with how reservations were handled; we completely understand that on busy nights/special occasions like Father's Day, restaurants are slammed and things get hectic. However, we had reservations for 6pm, only to get there to have to line up and be put on a waiting list, then eventually seated half an hour later. This might be understandable if it was a one-off situation, but this was the case for multiple groups with reservations. It seems like the issue could be resolved by setting time limits for prior groups (especially walk-in groups) or by restricting the number of reservations taken. Even pre-warning guests that this could happen would have been better than the chaos that we experienced at the front door when we arrived. We ultimately enjoyed our meal, though, and we would go back (but on a regular night only)!

We came for the oysters which were fresh and delicious. You can get sick of oysters fairly quickly so make sure you don't order too much at once. Also, their oyster special requires at least one appetizer so keep that in mind. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.

Great oysters and loved the hot sauce choices. Service was good as well, but my the main I ordered (the clam linguine) was absolutely disgusting and as I heard a table next to me describe as “inedible. ” It tastes like a sticking your tongue in a salt shaker. I think I downed 4 glasses of water trying to take 2 bites. They remade the dish for me when I complained but it tasted basically the same. I saw the table across from me ask the server about how salty it was so it confirmed how I felt and that I wasn’t being picky (because I really am not). I eat instant noodles quite often so I’m used to salt but this was like 10x the salt content. If you go here do not order the clam linguine! 4 stars for the oysters, tuna tartare, and tiramisu and good service!

My husband and I went here a few days ago for a nice seafood dinner. Upon entering, we were seated right away and eventually a server came by with menus. It took10 minutes for the server to come back to take our drink orders. We ordered a Sapporo each and he quickly said "we're out" ok so we asked for coronas instead, again "we're out" on the third try we got a drink order in. Drinks were really cold, bonus!
another 10 or so minutes go by and we are looking around for him to take our food order, literally had to stretch my arm up and wave to get him to come over.

My husband was getting really tired of this slow service and complained to the server that we had been waiting 30 minutes and no dinner still. Finally it got there and he also brought us water that should have been given to us upon seating. The platter consisted of a few bite size nibbles of octopus (like an elastic band), 1 full lobster, 6 shrimp, 6 scallops and 6 individual crab legs, butter and grilled lemon halves.
I broke open the crab leg first only to discover no meat in the leg? !? ! I sent it back and they gave me a replacement. It was so over cooked and bland, no salty taste like you are expecting. We were both so disappointed and we expressed that to the lady working there.
Save your money and go some place else. We will never go back.

Food was bad, everything other than the oyster was not fresh and flavorless. The waitress barely come and when did had the worst attitude ever.my friends at the table waited 2 hours for their food. When we paid for the bill we were forced to pay 18% tips.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Scarborough. Their menu is extensive and offers wide variety of seafood and drinks. The pasta tastes fresh and house made black pepper is delightful. I got to try a nice Ontario Riesling. The service was great. The outdoor patio gets a bit noisy as it's off a busy street but there's ample shading and barriers

Awful food with horrible service.paid over $200 for dinner and the waiter gave my group of friends and I the worst expressions as if we weren’t paying for our food.when the bill came they forced us to give them a set amount of tip and would just deduct directly from the change without notice.got “fresh” crab legs for 90$/lb but when checking out the waiter then told me it was frozen and NOT fresh. DO NOT COME.everything about the place is just BAD

Living in Toronto for over 20 years now and Diana's restaurant and fish market is still favorite. Prices are reasonable fair, and the market has excellent values daily. If you are looking for fresh sea food and good variety than Diana is the place to go. Staff are super friendly and facilities are clean.

Never coming back to this restaurant again. My girlfriend and I waited for 2 hours for our food. The waiter never came to serve us and tell us why was our food taking this long. We've never been served like this at any other restaurants before. It's the worst experience we've ever had. We were forced to pay 18% tips on the bill with the poor serving; all she did was taking our plates away and we had to ask for water. Their oysters were good, but everything else was just horrible.

Just went to Diana's over the weekend with my friends for dinner. We were served by their amazing GM, Wilson. Not only was he efficient and attentive, the overall vibe and staff morale was very positive. I've been here a few times and enjoyed the experience so I am sure I will go back again. Still one of my favorite places to go to for a good seafood meal!

My old colleagues & I went on a Tuesday evening for buck a shuck oysters (valid with purchase of any menu item excluding drinks and sides) malpeques or lucky 88s. We started off with 2 dozen malpeques. They didn't have any 88s that evening which was fine with me because I had it last time & wasn't a fan. The shucking was done so well, the oysters was clean, fresh & tasted like the sea!

Next, we ordered the appetizer platter for 2 which comes with crab cake, grilled calamari, grilled octopus, seared tuna, smoked salmon & shrimp. This was ok. Everything tasted fine however the tuna was mediocre. I also wished that it was 2 crab cakes since it was mini instead of giving us just one mini cut in half to share.

Lastly, we each ordered a main. My friends had the seafood stew and clam linguini which they said was delicious. I ordered the mushroom & leek carbonara. The menu didn't mention it being topped with a poached egg so that was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed this pasta dish.

Even though it was busy, the server was attentive when we needed him to be & we didn't get pushed out as we were there from 5: 45-10 p.m. Catching up while slowly getting through our meal.

Love that they have different oyster specials almost every day! We went to their Scarborough location on a Wednesday when they had $50 for 50 malpeques or Lucky 88. One is an East coast oyster & the Lucky 88 is Diana's Seafood own oysters which they farm on the West coast. I am only a fan of East coast oysters. They are saltier & very fresh tasting. It tastes like the ocean to me.

Diana's was pretty busy that night so their shucking was a bit slow but the attention & kindness of the servers make up for it.

A dollar for each oyster if we pay for an appetizer. There are obviously other types of oysters you can order but they are more expensive so we just got the cheapest ones. The appetizers (all about 20ish dollars) were kind of pricey but, all in all, a very good deal. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Oysters were really good and appetizers. However for the price you are paying, the service was simply atrocious. The wait for someone to take your order was 1/2 hour to start with. There was no explanation nor apology, so it appears this is normal. I found the staff to be just that, employees only, nothing else, its a though this was not a service industry. Wine order was wrong, although corrected, still charged for the wrong wine. It was our first visit, with the pandemic, we are really trying to make an effort to support neighborhood restaurants. But this was truly a disappointment. On another note, I am not sure what the restrictions are due to covid, but it was crowded both inside and out. The washroom, a whole other story.

I came here with my in-laws for dinner and was I ever disappointed. Oysters were very fresh.
Seafood platter was overpriced at $190. The rice underneath it was to oily the calamari and octopus had no taste. The ribeye steak was good but the service was slow it took over an hour for our entrees to come out and the staff were unattentive. The overall service is very poor compared to a year or 2 ago. They take your order put your food down and disappear now. I will definitely not come back to this location the poor service is the main reason. I recommend going to the woodbine location as their service and food is better.

Great seafood restaurant with many oyster options. They have regular promo days where you can get $1 malpeque oysters and other oyster discount as well, but you'll have to buy at least an appetizer with it (+$12). I ordered a appetizer plater for about $40 last time I was there and it was great. You get to try a couple of different options while waiting for the oysters. There are also many pasta and seafood dishes but I have not had a chance to try them. Will definitely try next time.

Great service, fresh and delicious seafood and food! Friendly staff, our waitress was super accommodating. Restaurant was busy but the manager still took the time to come by and made sure everything was alright. Their steak was very juicy and tender, oysters and clams was very fresh! A must try if you've never been there before!

Today was the third time coming to this location within two weeks. I came here two times with my gf and had decent experience and was raving yo my parents about this place and had the worst restaurant experience in my life (not an exaggeration). We sat at the table at 7pm and got the oysters at 8: 15pm. They even admitted that the order slips were shuffled around as I asked why a table who sat 10 min later received the oysters before us. Never going back there again. Service is so slow. Read the other reviews. Not the first one to mention it. If you are retired and have the full day off, I recommend you this place. If you want a dinner experience within a reasonable time, STAY AWAY.
