Be aware that if you let your elderly parents go on their own, they will be extorted. Do not let elderly use this service without adequate care. My elderly parents paid additional fees to be dropped at a medical office - although premium fees had already been paid by visa, the driver insisted on cash to let them out and dropped them off far from the entry point, my father was admitted to emergency shortly after with heart failure.

Do NOT use. A horrible experience and attitude when we called to complain. A horrendous company. Disgusting.

Do not use this company. My 86 yr old mother with severe dementia had to wait 3 hours for a van to go back to the nursing home from a hospital appointment. But Dignity already charged my credit card for a 2 way trip- over $200 And because my mum has dementia, with the extreme waiting time, she got very agitated and I had to get hospital security to help me with this situation. I am appalled that they dare call themselves Dignity Transportation. If I could, it would be zero stars.

Dignity… how about no dignity. I just saw one of their vehicles hit a parked car on the street and flee the scene. Haven’t used their services but the drivers have no morals. License plate ending in 152. Shame of this company!

Phenomenal in all terms of accessibility transportation. Very friendly behaviour. I would say they’re doing good job in the transportation industry.highly recommended.

Use Uber's Accessible wheelchair vehicles. Same price as regular uber, thus much cheaper. Just go on the uber app and select WAV vehicle option

The driver was very rude right from the start and very rough handling my sons wheelchair.
These ppl don’t treat ppl with special needs with any DIGNITY!
Also, the customer service was equally as bad.

I used them to get home after I had major abdominal surgery and they drove as slow as possible and they were careful to avoid the notoriously bad roads when possible because the bumps really hurt me.
My home uses dignity as well and I recently got to go on a bus outing to see Christmas lights and the driver was very nice and knowledgeable about where there was the best lights in the biggest city… Toronto!
If I could I would take dignity all the time instead of wheeltrans and beck taxis! The customer service is amazing at dignity and the drivers are always great and the vehicles are always clean!

I was behind # 2119 and this driver was on woodbine ave n and deliberately ran the red light to turn right.it is well posted no right turn on red as well as a separate light for right turns. Numerous vehicles honked at him as he did not slow down on approaching the red light

Very expensive company which cannot understand simple instructions. I have used Emery Mobility and they charge $47.50 one way while Dignity charges $55.00 and that is only to travel 15 minutes! Dignity Mobility overcharges! Emery is professional, reliable and much cheaper then Dignity.
My mothers nursing home uses this company and Dignity could not book the correct date for a very important function at the church. The function at the church occurs ONLY twice a year and Dignity booked the date for a month in advance. The seniors were looking forward to attending mass, and having lunch at the church but couldn't attend because Dignity Transportation booked the WRONG date! Is it that difficult to simply book the CORRECT date?

This company is expensive and UNRELIABLE! I will NEVER use this company if my mother needs wheel transportation but will use Emery Wheel transportation as they know how to document CORRECT dates and are much cheaper than Dignity Transportation!

We were not sure how we were going to get my mother home. Dignity Taxi was just incredible and what we needed. They were professional and caring and very reasonable. Would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again. Thank you for all you are doing!

I used Dignity to get home from the hospital. I use a scooter and it accommodated it beautiful. The taxi was right on time, the driver was very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend it.

From start to finish I was thrilled with service. Dignity adds a personal touch which is very important when working with people. I can't say enough good things about this company. I have used for short distance as well as for longer drives including from Toronto St Catharines. Great service. Great rates.

A BUNCH OF THIEVES. PAID UPFRONT FOR A SERVICE BUT THEY DID NOT SHOW UP AND REFUSED TO REIMBURSE

Dory is an absolute pleasure to deal with, represents Dignity well, booked us in last minute, accommodated us, and was helpful! True definition of Dignity and care!

I used Dignity Transportation Inc.for the first time today, and it was a very positive experience. The driver was courteous and helpful, taking good care of my mother. He even called her "Mama"! He was punctual and he also waited at the clinic for us. That was a very good outcome as I was able to avoid having to wait around for ages. The vehicle was comfortable for both my mother and me, and I will definitely use them again when my mother has doctor or hospital appointments.

We booked the services of a special transit to take our 93 year old mother from her nursing home in Unionville Ontario, to her grand daughter's wedding in Klienburg on Saturday September 28th. This after a very successful experience a week earlier to take her to a medical appointment in Scarborough.

Your company completely messed up the booking, did not dispatch a driver at all, and when asked to try an pick her up as soon as possible afterwards, even though it meant she would have already missed the wedding ceremony, you did nothing to try and correct your horrible mistake!

This left the family in tears just minutes before the ceremony was to begin, and made our daughter very sad on what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.

No explanation or apology was offered. In addition to all the heartache your carelessness caused, and the huge disappointment to this tender old lady who was so looking forward to the outing and to see her grand daughter married, there was the added cost we incurred to have a personal support worker get mom ready that morning and to accompany her for the day.

We know that our mother was so saddened by all of this, and all we could visualize was her all dressed up, ready and waiting for a ride that never appeared.

Two weeks later, our dear mother passed away. We are certain that a broken heart contributed to her rapid decline and passing.

Shame on whomever failed to do their job properly! I would never recommend your company to anyone. The nursing home has been advised of the situation and I doubt they will be recommending Dignity Transportation to the families of their residents in future.

Your company has lost any right to use the word Dignity in your name! What a disgusting way to treat people, and judging from some of the many negative reviews you have received, this is not the first time people have been poorly treated.

I only rated you a 1 because there was no option for a -5!

Dori is the best at customer service and the every single one of the drivers that have provided transportation are extremely polite and understanding.
My brother has muscular dystrophy and given his condition it can be quite difficult to travel. The team at Dignity Transportation takes care of every detail and always surpasses my expectations. They are always reliable and on time, they provide prompt and helpful assistance at great value!

Unreliable irresponsible and non communicative. The worst combination for a wheelchair accessible transportation company; let alone one whose long holds on the phone are filled with messages about reliability.
We had booked a round trip service today. The pick up was 30 mins late and we were only informed when we called to follow up.
The return drive never happened. They left us stranded. Never called to explain, never called back to provide updates or solutions. Nothing!
We called to follow up after 30 mins of delay and the only andwer was we are working on it.
She peomised to call me in 5 minutes and that call is yet to come. We ended up calling multiple places to find our way back as my dad was very uncomfortable on his chair by then. A 1,5 hour stay had extended over 3 hours.
We will never work nor recommend this irresponsible and poor service to anyone. The excuse for the delay and not showing up was both that the car had ran into an issue and they were waiting for someone to go fix it.
Stay away from them!

Website says they provide non-emergency transportation for stretcher. Turns out that is a lie and all they do is wheelchair. Why even dedicate an entire page on their website services if they don't offer? Rep showed no interest in the false information

We have used Dignity now four times and have found the drivers to be professional, compassionate and very helpful. Their vans have been clean and their rates were very fair. I got us into a pickle and they were so accommodating and so kind. Life savers. I highly recommend this service.
