- Orecchiette with Induga sausage was one of the BEST noodles I’ve ever had. Smooth. Soft, not chewy at all. The meat was some of the best I’ve had with pasta
- Rigatoni w/Ala Vodka - sauce was UNREAL.
- Calamari was the BEST I’ve had personally. Smooth, soft, and not chewy. Light & flaky breading.
- Arancini was great!
- Lamb skewers were a necessary appetizer
- grilled salmon so buttery and flaky

Great food in a prime location in Toronto where there are many other choices. The seafood was amazing esp.the fish. They were so good that it took us right back to Italy:) Highly recommend!

I came here with a colleague after a work event in Yorkville. I had the clam pasta and it was pretty good. My colleagues food was ok. This place is a good alternative to a lot of the overpriced restaurants in the area. Definitely a step up from the place next door.

We sat on the most beautiful patio at the back, served by an incredible staff including the manger. Loved the food, atmosphere and service. Can’t wait to return!

Well we were just looking for a place to eat. And found this place. Wow the food the service was all perfect. We will be back and with our friends.

Had a great time at Dimmi’s. Service was excellent. We showed up on a Friday night, without a reservation, they were super busy but they still made the effort to accommodate us. Highly recommend calling to make a reservation. Food and drink was top notch! Will return for sure - thanks Dimmi’s!

The place is overcrowded with narrow seating. Waiters/waitresses are always stumbling around my table.
The food was very mid. The linguine with clams was clearly under-seasoned.
The waitress also made choices on behalf of me, such as taking the dessert menu away without my permission.

Walked in looking to have pasta for dinner and were pleasantly surprised! Very helpful, friendly and speedy service. I am vegan and ordered the angel hair spaghetti (with pomodoro sauce) and my friend got the fettuccine alla ciccio (with wild mushrooms and truffle oil). Delicious! We’ll definitely be back for more pasta. The atmosphere is lovely and cozy, a lot of families as well.

Went for lunch over the weekend. Felt rushed by our server to both order and eat. Our server kept changing (we were approached by different people every few minutes), and we had no idea who to wave down to order more. Food was below average. Felt sick soon as we left. Disappointed!

Had the Chicken pesto con pollo pasta, it was very delicious! One of the best pasta dishes I've ever tried

The service was amazing; the food got to us fast and we felt really well taken care of. The food was delicious. I had the cosimo pizza and it was the best pizza I had in a while!

The overall experience was very good. The staff are very attentive, kind, and knowledgable. The menu is diverse and the ingredients are fresh. I think the kitchen was having an off night. The food took quite awhile to come out, and my tbone came out a ribeye. It was cooked well so I've nothing to really complain about. Bottom line is the food is good, the staff is great, the location is very nice, and the rest is insignificant when in good company.

The quality of the food was excellent and it was made the same as the Italian recipe.
The price was in the middle ranges.
I like it and recommend it.

Ate here around lunch time, we had spaghetti and meatballs, linguini and clams and cosima.
The spaghetti is okay, meatballs are dried and the flavour is mediocre.
Pizza cosima is good.
Linguini and clams are bad, the cook for this felt like never cooked this before the wine is not properly reduced and it taste so bitter making it uneatable.

I hate leaving this review, but the following just ticked me off too much.

We came with our kids and ordered them chicken wings and fries: $19 for chicken wings the weren't even that good! The fries were good though (the kids didn't touch the wings at all).
We ask for hot water so we can make a furmola bottle for our child: they charged us $2.75 for a cup of warm water! What the heck? ! 5 Star Douchery in my books.

My wife very much enjoyed her pasta, and the service was very friendly. But I am too disappointed about the price of the bad wings and ridiculous charge for hot water.

Oh and yes, like everyone mentioned: they serve cold bred to the table, but at least that is free.but not warm water.that is a premium.

Last year we found this place by chance and stopped in for a meal. Now, whenever my husband and I shop on Bloor, Dimmi is an after shopping tradition for a late lunch/early dinner. The food is great and the staff is awesome. Just ate there today! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Walked in at 6pm hoping to get out by 6: 45.

Ordered a salad, Gnocchi, and veggie wrap, and we had our food, on the table within 10mins of ordering.

Everything was incredible. First of all, best gnocchi I've ever had. Sauce was incredible. Gnocchi had perfect temperature.

The veggie wrap was to die for. Unreal flavor, veggies cooked perfectly.

All in all, an amazing dining experience, from service, to speed, to presentation, to taste! Can't wait to go back.

This place may have ruined other restaurants for me. I came here with my girlfriend for our 11th anniversary and we were both blown away by the service and food.

Just take my money and feed me for life please.

Only have had the chance to go the once and sadly, won't be able to go often due to only visiting Toronto but it was a fantastic experience. The Veal focaccia wrap was amazing, along with the garden salad. The waiter brought a house sauce to add to the olive oil dip for bread which was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Friendly service and classic Italian dishes. Our daughter didn’t like the amount of garlic in the pasta, so they redid for her on a fly and there was a new version in 3 minutes. Cool atmosphere as well.

Always great food. However, the wait for the bill was.way too long. The place was empty and we waited and waited and waited and waited for the bill even after asking for it. And waited and waited.

The food is incredible, the selection of wines and beverages is inspiring, the service is the very best of anywhere I have ever been. Dimmi treats each and every customer as a VIP. Drop in for a simple lunch or a celebratory dinner, either way it's going to be memorable. BTW, you may even see your favorite celebrity dining at Dimmi. You have to try Dimmi. I guarantee, you try Dimmi once, you'll keep going back.

I’ve dined here couple times and both times were amazing. They have tables both inside and outside and the overall ambience is very comforting and sophisticated. The servers including the owner works exceptionally hard to always check on you, clear the table and serve you with excellent customer service. The servers are kind and humorous. Their food and drinks tastes great. Their cucumber and pear sangria is a nice way to start your meal as it is a refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. We started with calamari fritti, burrata gf, funghi pizza, followed with my favourite main which is their fettuccine alla riviera. I literally crave their food and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a date spot or just a nice night out with some tasty Italian food and drinks, I highly recommend DIMMI!

Outstanding hospitality, the owner himself was completely attentive and welcoming. Pizzas, pastas and desserts were all fantastic!

Probably one of the most uninviting places I've been to in Toronto. The service was terrible from the beginning to the end. I'm not sure if it's them being racist but I noticed we were the only POC in the restaurant. They decided to give the table beside us free bread but did not receive any. When asking the servers for help they would not respond or talk to us in any way but would only nod instead.

The food was also very mediocre. I'd rather eat pasta at a random chain restaurant. I don't think I'd ever recommend anyone I love or care for to ever come here nor would I ever go back.

Tried their Bruschetta pizza and Rissoto. Omg both of them surpassed my expectations. I'm so happy I tried this place. The stop service was good too, however I expected Parmesan to be freshly grated in front of me but it came grated in a container. Everything else the vibe the location was just transformational. Would love to go here again if my pocket allows (just a bit expensive)

Absolutely fantastic - very quaint but the service was so wonderful and we will definitely be back for some more delicious pasta!

Reason for rating: I wished I ordered the regular risotto on the menu rather than the daily special. The pizza was delicious since it was a thin crust throughout.

Great friendly service. Busy on a Thursday night. Prices are reasonable. Good food, wine and cocktails. Their espresso martinis are a must try!

The food quality was reasonable, not outstanding. The items were hurrendously overpriced: $20 for a single fig and 4 slices of prosciuto. The ambience and atmosphere were zero. The quantities were abysmal.

Visited 2 weekends ago. First time. Had to wait about half hour to 45 minutes but well worth it. The hostess super cool and nice and knew exactly what she was going. Even though they were slammed drinks and food came in good time. Pizza was amazing and so was the pasta. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful spot! Hot and Honey margaritas are amazing. When we called they said they don’t take reservations and it took us 5 minutes on Thursday night to get a table.

They tell you to wait in line but they let some people bypass you in line. No they didn't have reservations. We heard the whole conversation.
2 sets of people bypassed us.
I wanted to leave but my girlfriend wanted to stay.
The food was good but the shrimps were soggy.

We went to dinner during a week night around 6pm with no reservations. We got a table right away and received excellent service from our very attentive waitress probably because it was not terribly busy yet. Fried calamari appetizer tasted pretty good but it was over breaded in my opinion. Pizza, seafood pasta and salmon pasta with rose sauce special were all excellent. Pasta was cooked well and sauce was flavorful without being heavy. At the end, we could only fit one desert amongst the three of us and agreed the tiramisu tasted absolutely heavenly.

Mmm Dimmi, mmm. Amazing service, wonderful staff, great atmosphere right in the centre of Yorkville and most importantly fantastic food. Huge menu and delicious drinks; I'm going to have to come here a couple more times to really try out the entire menu. I got the tortellini - very good but I will try something with a tomato sauce next time.

Amazing place to eat, and great customer service. You have to try the calamari, which was delicious.

Very good pastas and pizza-must try, I loved extra thin crust!
White Sangria-do not recommend, lack of taste and loaded with ice and pieces of apple.

T-bone beef was not chewable.

Overall, good! Prices are fair.
Will be back for more pizza and pasta with seafood

Service could be a bit better, few things were forgotten through out, but it’s ok

Update: waiter got me the wrong wine, instead of Chardonnay she believed I wanted Sauvignon blanc but brought Riesling (What’s the logic here) And, instead of just admitting mistake happened, she tried to convince me that I ordered it. ️ It left aftertaste. Over so many restaurants I’ve been to, this happened 2-3 times and ruined the impression of place.

Takeout: Cumberland pizza and grilled octopus are my favs, go so well with wine.

For over 10 times I’ve been to this place, today experience has been the worst.
People working are stressed and rude. I know it must be overwhelming these days, but it ain’t my fault. It’s sad to see such a good place to go down the hill. Yes you guys have clients now, I assume that’s ok to kick out people like that. The guy with curly hair approached us several times “you cannot just sit, you need to place an order “ (POV: we already placed an order.and were waiting for food and drinks). He interrupted me without even letting me talk lmao, you need to take a day off and think that people around you are also stressed with their lives and come to eat and have a good experience.

I am very impressed with the service, all the waitress and waiters are excellent with communication and very fun people! I am not only enjoyed my night, I gave them a fat tip to thank them for giving me a wonderful last mins table within five mins. Thank you service team!

Cozy and beautiful italian restaurant. I had a great lunch there with a particular great mention for the service, which is above the usual italian standard. It's nice to find a good italian restaurant with decent prices! Waited a bit long to pay in the end but nothing to complain about otherwise.

The best food in Yorkville. Pastas are delicious. Pizzas are perfect every time. Salads are fresh. Atmosphere is amazing (good for large groups too)

We came for dinner last night. We ordered mussels, pizza and pasta.
The mussels were amazing, well cooked and with a really good tomato sauce.
The pasta was really nice too.
The pizza dough is good and it is made with a thin crust.
We had a great dinner, but they should improve the pizzas.

Great food and excellent service! We love this place. I tried Sbamp’A Vucca pizza with Rappini and spice sausage and loved it. Highly recommend.

Pappardelle with beef short ribs was satisfactory and the chooclate pecan pie was quite decadent. Service was good in a lovely rustic setting with brick walls through out the interior.

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Service was attentive, the spaghetti was seasoned and al dente, the meatballs could have used some more browning but were a good size. The prices were steeper than I expected for the portion and ingredients, but I was satisfied with the flavour of the dish itself.

Dimmi provided good food and service, but nothing stands out as memorable or particularly excellent.

The servers are attentive and friendly. The food was fine. Calzone was generously sized. Bread is bottomless at the tables.

Food was always good in previous visit, and now Raymond and his team showed us how awesome they are in hosting a small corp event in their private salon. Food=5*. Location/facility=5*, service = 6 out of 5! Thanks!

This place was really awesome. The Owner Gianpaulo was incredibly friendly and informative when had questions about the artwork in the restaurant, and there is so much Rich History in this place. The food is incredible, and I recommend anyone who is in Yorkville to check this place out for some REAL Italian food.

Ended up here by chance after waiting ages for our reservation at another Yorkville restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Food and wine were excellent and well priced. Will definitely return!

Food and drink was okay, but the real cherry was the bar man named Max, what ever I needed he was there with a smile, great guy will return again.

This is a great place for friends gathering as well as a date night.
Dimmi has a good affordable wine selection. I personally like their pastas more than anything. They always bring fresh baskets of breads to the table.
Some of us also shared appetizers and two bottle of wines. We forgot to ask for separate bills at the beginning. But at the end, they were able to split it perfectly.

Busy night in Yorkville because of TD jazz festival Got a late call reservation so we were lucky. Had some drinks, Prosecco Al Limine which were refreshing. For dinner had Burrata which had a tasty reduction and Pipette, Rigatoni and Penne which all enjoyed Didn't partake of coffee or desert as we wanted to catch some music. Restaurant was clean, bright and conversation friendly. Pricing was $50/person

This place is in Yorkville and next to Bay Station. It is quite convenient.

I've been here several times, and it never disappoints whatever I've ordered on the menu. The pizza and pasta is always spot on! So, try any and every thing!

Food was fine but would not be back due to the service. The wrong beer was served to our table and we were rushed to leave once we were done our food although we were not done with our drinks.

Beautiful restaurant with a front and side patio. I went in later than normal people usually do for dinner and in a half full restaurant with many seats available with a better views available, I was seated up against a wall. Granted, I was dressed casually, but less so tha 2 women occupying a patio table wearing lulu lemon yoga pants and fanny packs. It too two servers asking to get me a glass of water. I ordered a nice glass of red wine ($14, chianti), an appetizer ($18, beef carpaccio) and a pasta dish ($22, gnocchi in rose sauce.no veggies no meat). My appetizer came promptly after my wine after that, well.the service seemed distant and cold, especially as my second glass of wine arrived, it wasn't unceremoniously dropped on the table by a waitress as she passed by with her back to me. Beef carpaccio was good, there could have been a little more beef and less salad, if you want a good version of this in our city, ruth's chris is much better, there is no salad. I love gnocchi, dimmi's is nothing special, the rose is too much tomato not enough cream or garlic and I am fairly sure it's not made fresh in house. Vivoli was the place to get gnocchi for me until it caught on fire. All said and done, I might try this restaurant again maybe earlier in the week and earlier in the evening.

I really enjoyed the view and drink but food wasn’t good, I ordered veal on a bun, it didn’t taste good.
I might go back only for a drink but not food.

I got pasta and It wasn't homemade pasta. To be more specific, I got tortellini alla pana which were socked in a creamy cheese. However I know their roasted chicken breast is pretty good! Service was good. A little busy around 1pm.
