This place is a true gem! We dined in for dinner and every item we ordered was delicious. The dishes came out quickly after we ordered and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. They genuinely cared about our experience.

Service and food was good and met my expectations. I would totally recommend this place. The quality was better than most chinese restaurants Ive been to.

Kevin also hosted us upstairs, to their bar/lounge area for some Karaoke and drinks!

Food was okay. Have definitely had better dim sum in Toronto. The har gow was over cooked, fried squid wasn't crispy and had a sweetness to the batter. Sticky rice was off, tasted sour so we didn't eat more than a couple bites. The shrimp and beef in rice rolled noodles was also over cooked and mushy. Chicken wings, bbq pork buns were good and so were the spring rolls and mixed veggies. Was disappointed with the dim sum overall though.

Service was good; servers were friendly.

By far my favourite Chinese/dim sum restaurant in all of Toronto. Hits the spot every time we go.

This used to be the best go to for take out. Unfortunately not anymore. We loved the hot and sour soup and now it tastes like vinegar- we didn’t eat it and for $9 that’s not cool. The dishes were once fused with flavour and fresh ingredients now it’s like someone just dumps sauce on stuff and stirs it around. It’s too bad we have been loyal customers for years but it’s time to find a new place

The music was loud with drum beat. We asked three times for staff to turn down music. Another patron agreed. Staff said that the owner would not let let do so. We couldn't talk so we won't be returning

Been going here since it was Pearl Court. Food is nice but service isn't that good - waiters forgot a dish and we had to remind them twice. Had to ask multiple times for a water refill.

We had the dim sum and they were, as far as we can tell, very good. They might be a tiny bit overpriced, but overall it's a very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and good food.

Great evening diners. Fantastically updated decor. The dim sum on the weekends is the best in the east side downtown core of Toronto

They do not seem to be concerned about customer service. We loved this place when it was Pearl Court but have been here three times since the rebrand and it's been disappointing. Food is still good but expect a long wait time even if you're the only table in the restaurant.

First time lunch here. Food quality is above average, especially crab claw and hargow. Service is good with quick food delivery and tea refill plus waiter smile. Hygiene is very good with clean food utensil. Will return next time

Since it was incarnated on the site of the old Pearl Court, which was a neighbourhood mecca for south Riverdale and beyond, this restaurant has been gradually upping the game and its food quality. Asian friends visiting from distant lands we're impressed by our recent brunch there. Service and decor are closer to the rough-and-ready days of old, but if it's going to be about the food - and why shouldn't it be? - this is an excellent lunch deal without apologies.

Excellent quality dim sum. It’s going to be a new go-to spot for me! My favourite was the pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, pictured below. Bonus ‘liminal’ atmosphere as you pass through the upstairs bar to the bathroom.

Great dim sum option on east end of Toronto. The staff are quite busy so it's hard to flag one down.

I ordered the Cantonese chow mein earlier this week and I was not impressed. Although it was very saucy just all slack flavor and it was packed with mear that was barely identifiable. I place my order through the ritual app which didn't allow me to customize my food. When I went to pick up my food the lady at the counter was very abrupt. I wanted to have some chili oil with my food and she was shoes to give me any saying that they don't supply any for takeout orders. This is a ridiculous practice and this is the only restaurant I've ever heard this from as I ordered this particular dish frequently from other places and have never had a problem getting chili oil for takeout. But she was able to provide me with Sriracha for takeout which she easily could have put the chili oil in the same container that she provided me to Sriracha in. It was just a very rude attitude for underwhelming overpriced food. I may return there but likelihood is steep. How you treat your guests, whether dining in or takeout is very important to me. You don't appreciate my business But I do appreciate my money remaining in my pocket for giving it some more detailing establishment.

It was good, still prefer the old one with chariot of dimsum to choose from. A bit more expensive but the place is nicer and cleaner than it used to.

Very friendly service with delicious dim sum. Recommend: Har gow and stir fried beef rice noodles.

So wonderful! We had to rush because we were going to a concert nearby.the staff were very accommodating and we were in and out within 20 minutes.the custard buns are the softest i’ve ever had and the inside was perfect.we also ordered the congee and it was super tasty and hot.karaoke is upstairs as well.would definitely visit again if i’m in the area

We've been long time regulars of Juzz sushi on Queen st E, the sister restaurant and were eager to try Din & Dim's expanded menu. Love that we can get all our Juzz faves and a wide selection of other asian cuisines in one place.

The neighbourhood was missing an option for excellent Chinese food and this place fills the void! Multiple floors each with a different vibe and love the addition of Karaoke! They've got every song you could possibly want.

Their Ramen is also amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Also try the torched oshizushi, salmon and mackerel are my favourites.

Overall good experience, interesting menu, cozy atmosphere.
We ordered the Typhoon Mountain lobster, which turned out to be 2 deep fried lobsters covered in fries with sweet and sour sauce on top. Interesting combo of flavours, and pretty certain these were McCain fries.
The bbq pork buns were great, lots of filling and the bread is very soft.
And they had great spicy mustard that was amazing with hargow.
Would come back and try more items on the menu.

Ordered delivery, 3 items $65. I feel completely ripped off! The chicken balls arrived minus the side of red sauce, despite that, I gave them a try the batter was so intensely dense and chewy and the chicken so dry.they were not worth another moment on my tongue or the cost. Then there was the black pepper beef ribs, NOT ribs at all, they were some kind of mystery cut of beef. Garlic green beans had no garlic and were overcooked shriveled garbage. I'm thoroughly disappointed and will not be ordering from there again.

I did call to inform your staff there was no red sauce included in my order and the woman I spoke to said, that there is no way the kitchen staff got my order wrong and that I should deal directly with uber. She hung up on me before I could ask why there are no bones in my black pepper ribs or let her know there was zero flavour in the over cooked green beans. Now if she had handled me apologetically and explained the confusion, I might have given your place a 3rd chance.but alas, your dinner menu is garbage and it had to be posted, since your staff refused a discussion. Chicken Balls have red sauce, ribs have bones sinew and fat, stir fried beans usually have flavour.none of these were delivered. Your staff answering the phone was rude and dismissive. This was my second time ordering from you restaurant hoping the first bad experience was just a fluke and thought I owed you a second chance (as we used to love ordering from the former owners Pearl Court). If you don't want to hear negative feedback, accept responsibility on an incorrect order or take some constructive criticism publicly here on your review page, then I suggest you train your staff to answer the phone politely, respectfully and apologetically accept responsibility for a mistake.

Nice place, very clean, excellent service and a decent menu selection for dim sum. I did find the portions somewhat small for the prices listed. To be fair, I am comparing to Scarborough dim sum restaurants where there are more of them.

The place itself and the people that work there are great but there is a lack of vegan dishes and in the vegan dishes they have there is a lack of seasoning

I ordered online and the food tastes heavenly! Sweet and sour chicken and Har Gow. Both were amazing!

Better than around Donlands station Chinese restaurants, close by my house I couldn’t find any good Chinese food, but this restaurant it was fresh, tasty and good size!

Passable but expensive dim sum restaurant. Better off going to Spadina Chinatown or the suburbs.

This is our go-to place for Canadian Chinese food. The sweet and sour pork and the ho fun noodles are favorites. The portion sizes are good, the dishes are always tasty, fresh and full of flavor. Definitely an asset to East Chinatown!

Average dim sum, very pricey. Many of the dim sum dishes, very bland no flavour. My partners are all oriental, eaten at many dim sum restaurants in the city. Best dim sum, made fresh daily and not to much MSG where I'm drinking water all day is Lai Wah Heen in the Doubletree on Chestnut Street, was originally opened by Susur Lee for the Metropolitan hotel. Very tasty and quality like you've never seen.

I did not know that this place changed the new management and renovated the whole place. Missing the old style and staff which was more traditional to cantonese, hong kong restaurant. The quality is also not as good as previously.
Also surprised that sushi or other food not related to dim sum was added. Makes it more like a regular restaurant.

We've driven by Dine & Dim many times and finally decided to stop in for dinner. Excellent Chinese cuisine and friendly staff. We will certainly return!

Went to this place on sunday, was craving dim sum. We got there and were seated after vax check, then we had to go through 3 menu styles and finally write our decisions down on the paper menu, which was fine as well. Ordered different styles of dim sum and shrimp fried rice and spicy stir fry chicken. The complimentary tea needed to be strained. The food after it arrived was starting to cool down fast, our servers were busy attending to other tables however they did bring out the items ordered very fast, as things kept going.

The issue - the spicy chicken, something that is literally ment for chicken, we get more than half the plate with vegetables, and barely any pieces of chicken. The spring rolls were okay but not great, did not feel fresh or even warmed up. The fried rice was less than average, just a bunch of yellow rice and a few shrimps on top. Did not taste that great.

The dim sum rolls/dumplings were really good but a tad expensive, however given the times, it makes sense.

There was vommit in the female bathroom sink, according to my female friends that had gone in.

The bill came out, and i was asked if I would pay cash, i said yes, as they gave 10% off. The bill was 75, i gave them 80 in 20s, expecting a $5 change so i can put more on and tip with other change. But the waitress decided to yell out as other customers were leaving, that $5 is less than 10% of tip, because tip is not included in service. Well for

1. No one clarified this.
2. Why would you automatically believe that you deserve a tip? What kind of customer service is that?

Anyways I knew the service was terrible with the food and what not, but the insult of thinking i wouldn't tip was a lot. And yes us mellienials tip, we understand how important tipping is. So i threw down a 20. And left a nice 20% tip.

Thank you, but this restaurant is not worth it. I'd rather travel further to enjoy worst dim sum but better customer service. No one gets to ask for a tip. Tipping is courtesy. And i love to tip but when you give bad service and then ask before I even get to finish my transaction, then that just leaves a sour taste.

Fantastic quality! Hargow and shu Mai was amazing. We loved the 12 pieces of salmon sashimi for 12.99$ the pieces were slabs and so fresh. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive and polite. My group of 5 was pleasantly surprised the value for the price as well as the quality. We will be back. Cheers.

I'd give it 5 s if it weren't for the pricey fare. A bit steep for a big eater like myself. I was impressed with the tuna I had a few months ago, but not so much with 7 dollars wonton soup and dim sum.

Great food and service. Ordered ginger and onion lobster, pineapple ginger chicken, chicken feet and fried tofu with braised mushroom. Bubble tea is awesome will definitely visit again.

Situated at the location of the old Pearl Court Restaurant on Gerrard Street, Dine & Dim serves up Chinese cuisine & dim sum. The news is that they are renovating and the upstairs will have sushi and they will also eventually have karaoke in a room in the basement. So, it is an improvement on what you may have been used to in the past. So, drop in to get take-out so that once we can go back to eating in restaurants, it will still be there.

Ordered for pick-up. Food was ready on time and packed well. Decent portion sizes and all the food was fresh and delicious! It was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while - would definitely order again.

Pearl Court was one of my favourite restaurants and I was so happy to hear that when the ownership changed over, the new owners kept all of the kitchen staff. You can tell - the food remains delicious. Both their dim sum and regular menus are amazing. I really hope that when we're able to visit as in-person patrons that they've kept the incredible staff as well.
