Nice and atmospheric park next to lake Ontario with a view on the US and Toronto just across the lake (if it's a clear day).

This park has nice scenic lake views, and a trail that takes you along the Oakville waterfront.

Quiet, pretty and calming park. Great place to come with a coffee and relax. Parking is sometimes an issue but you have to park up the street and walk down. It is windy down here so bring a light jacket or hat. If you keep walking 5 mins down then there is a place for kids to play and hang out.

Beautiful view with a short path to walk on, however can be tight for parking in the afternoon.

A nice place to relax and walk by the lake. Enough shade for really sunny days and nice breeze blows in from the lake. Parking can be a problem on busy days.

Took guests from out of town and they loved the views and cleanliness of this small park on the lake.

It's a nice place. The neighborhood and the park are nice to walk around. The mosquitoes were the biggest issues when visiting (visited in July)

Oakville dingell park is waiting for you on the beach in oakville. Be sure to explore this place. It's like reaching out to the sea between the houses. It is not very big, but it is still a park where you can come with your pet friend. It is not very suitable for small children to play. The lake is at the bottom of the park and may not be safe for very young children. There are benches to sit in the park. I think if you come on the weekend, leave your car in a parking lot in the city and walk to the park. There is a parking lot for a small car in front of the park. As you approach the park, you will see historical houses. There are houses that are at least 150 years old. I definitely recommend it.

One of the best park in area. If you are nature lover must visit this place. Love relaxing n long walk here. You can also plan your quick picnic day. Either you can carry home cooked food or pick-up anything from near by market. Parking areas are always full but you are allowed to park roadside. No parking fee its free. No matter howmuch crowded this place is.you will always find place to park. Oakville museum is at walkable distance. Also lighthouse & Small park for Toddlers to enjoy.
Almost every weekend I go here. Yes I would highly recommend to visit this place.

Always pleasant to walk through this park, on the shoreline, which abuts the streets south of Lakeshore with many historic houses (with plaques). Never busy with traffic and I never tire of looking at the architecture of the old houses from a bygone era. Lakeside Park is a short walk away along Front Street, with its pier and historic (unoccupied) buildings.

Located in downtown Oakville, Dingle park is marked by a large willow tree. I recommend that you include Riverside Park next door in your walk.
On a clear day, you can see as far as Toronto and Burlington.

Nice benches close to the waters edge below the main trail, with good view of Toronto when clear.
