Worst company. They’ve pulled my credit 7 times when I’ve only called them twice, which drastically affected my score. They even had the audacity to complete an order I did not agree to or sign up for with internet. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, they stated they do not have either.

De loin le meilleur service a la clientele de tout le quebec! Reponses rapides, pas besoin de renvoyer le materiel, et ils nous ont rembourser les jours non utilisees. Je serait bien rester avec cette compagnie mais nous n'avons plus besoin d'internet.

So, I don't know where to begin. I'm on week 2 of no internet. They finally concluded its my modem that was the problem so sent a new one (more expensive than my 1st one and they wouldn't cover the price different even though it wasn't my choice to switch but a need due to the first one being faulty). Not only did it cost more and I needed to wait a few days to receive it, but it doesn't have wifi so won't work for phones, tablets or laptops. It also only has 2 ethernet ports (1 for smart TV which is enough IF it had wifi). Hooked it up today, no internet again less than 2 hours later.
I AM SO FRUSTRATED. I think I'll be switching providers now. This is ridiculous

It's constantly down I've reset the modem and it's still down and it's always when you need it the most.

This is one of those instances where I should have read the reviews. They had me book a specific time for installation, only to tell me that my address wasn’t valid & wouldn’t be coming to install. I cancelled & returned the equipment, confirming with them that it was received to get my refund of my deposit back. A week later, I still haven’t received my refund. I call & find out that they hadn’t even issued it. If I hadn’t called, they would have kept my money. On top of that, they run on Rogers lines. So, buyer beware.

It is tooo bad company they deserve -5 not 0 or 5.

They operate from Egypt and they have the badest customer service i ever saw, and the badest service.

I do not recommend anyone to have their service.

One of the worst internet provider in canada. I can not attend my online class because of the low signal. We are also facing connection beak at certain interwel of time.

If I could give a 0 rating, I would. I absolutely had a horrible experience with this company for internet. I didn't even get it set up. I kept getting given different install dates everytime, and no one would show up to my house. As 2 months past, I told them I wanted my deposit back, fought with them for another 2 and a half weeks, and they finally mailed me a cheque. Do not use this company.

Just avoid this internet service provider. The people are so incompetent that they charged me for the wrong price for the wrong service for the past year. I talked to service on the phone and they changed someone else's internet service by accident, I waited an hour on the phone

My mother is 78 and her Bell internet was terrible. So after doing some research I decided to switch to Distributel. A 3rd party company (Rogers) came to install her cable internet. The technician cut the phone line by mistake and left without a word. Since her internet is also through Bell, she had no internet access either. Once she had access to a cell phone we called Distributel to complain. No apology, no accountability, it was Roger's and we don't have any information about the technician. Would not put in a request to speak to a supervisor or manager because they can't get any information from Rogers. Needless to say we are no longer customers of Distributel. Appalling customer service!

I was unable to get this service installed and was told I would get a full refund. A month later I e call after no refund and I am informed there is no record of me calling. They continued to argue it was connected and I have to pay the two months for billing and a cancellation fee. I was told it would be investigated and they would call me back. Two weeks later I call them because they never called me back. Once again they said it was installed. I NEVER had service! Extremely frustrated and disappointed at the lack of communication and record keeping. I have never had such terrible customer service anywhere. I highly highly suggest you do NOT get services from this company.

Would like to rate 0 if I can, my internet service provider was originally with Xinflix until Distributel bought the company, our account transfered to this garbage company.
Price went up with out notice, Loyal customer for many year, we had an old modem doesn't support the new internet speed, so they trying to force us to purchase the new expensive modem to get promotion discounted internet service.
Avoid this trash company.

Only thing they did fast, it's charged my money. In general I had more than 15 phone calls. Even 2 times during conversation their agents just hang up a phonecall! Costumer service awful, first of all they puted me on hold 3 times and I was reconnected with another agents and explained again and again same question, different agents tells me different stories: first time they told me I need to get their Wi-Fi modem - in couple days I got from them Wi-fi modem, after that they said to me i need to cancel previous provider- wich I didn't had before because of previous tenant already cancelled it 2 month ago - so I got a cancellation number from tenant and also called previous provider to make sure is it disconnected or not, after that they told me everything okay, I made a call back next day in a morning and they refused to install internet because of "You already have active service", are you serious? , information was provided to you already and you said day before this call "Everything alright just wait confirmation of installation date". They telling me fairytales for 2 weeks and i still didn't get internet, so I switched to another provider wich connected me since application till installation within 3 days within any problems with modems or any deactivation codes. Definitely waste of time, not recommended, dont be fooled, maybe they have offer 20 CAD cheaper then others, but how to get this internet if your customer service is awful? Refund.

I ordered this because i am moving out of london, into a small town. I sighned up and they took 178. Out of my bank account over a a month before i even move, they sent the equipment to the new place which i dont move until march 12th. So i had to go get it. Then after i picked it up, a few hours later i get a call from them saying that they dont service my area. And i had to send the equipment back and once they received the stuff back. I will get my money back. Well as i got a tracking number they recieved the stuff. But still no refund.

Very low consideration for time gapes when switching too and from; left me without internet for 2-3 days when switching to distributel and cancelled 3 days early before end of month when I was moving.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH AN INTERNET PROVIDER
I am a Distributel client for several years now. Honestly, I stayed with them because I did not take the time to change company. But man, what an awful experience! There is always problems with their cheap modem. You always have to reboot it, and if you are lucky, it starts working again. Then you try to talk to someone from their technical service. You have to wait for about 45 minutes and then he tells you that you have to make every tests possible before they send you a new one. And by the way, they make you pay every month for the cheapest modem there is. Honestly, do not lose your time with these amateurs. Tonight i had to wait so long to talk to someone from their technical service that I had time to find myself a new provider, find the same internet package for 75% of the price, and then write this long review in my second language.

So, DO NOT EVER TRY THIS COMPANY. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH AN INTERNET PROVIDER.

Au départ installation câble sa va.services téléphone un peu long. Mais la je vient de me rendre compte qu'ils bloque et ralentisse la bande iptv gang de crosseur.je suis avec Videotron aucun problème.avec mon router personnelle.et sont rendu 103$ mois et facture 2x après la cancellation du reparler à un responsable pour qu'il me rembourse ce qui a été fait.

SCAM. This company is a scam, they will take your money without providing any service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. All the negative reviews are correct - they are 100% a scam company.

Real rating is 0. I was switched to Distributel when the company I was with was bought out by Distributel. I retained my original monthly rate because I was still under contract. Once the year was up, the rate went back up to the charge without discount. I have no issue with that. I switched to another company a couple of months later, and when I called to cancel my subscription, I was offered a much cheaper plan with a faster speed. Apparently, my legacy plan no longer existed, and yet they decided to charge me that much higher rate that does not exist at their company anyways, because they are predatory. They took advantage because they could. I would not consider this company ever again.

This is a very vindictive company to deal with.
Our modem failed recently. After subpar customer service I decided to switch providers to a small local company. Distributel I believe out of spite has refused to inform the line owner (Rogers) of the pending transfer to another provider. I had been assured after multiple calls that they would do so but they did not. This in turn makes it impossible for the new provider to set up service leaving me without internet for a period of seven days. Without an active internet connection I can not work from home leaving me without income for a week. I have no recourse and all I get from Distributel is sorry sir.

DO NOT use this company there are plenty of GOOD local options available like Start.ca where they will bend over backwards to get your business.
