Call around all the local vets. This place seemed the best. Price wise, nothing special, but over the phone they were extremely helpful.

I didn’t feel heard with concerns of my dog and the Doctor who saw my dog wasn’t compassionate about the situation and just wanted to increase the vet bill as much as possible. When she came back with my dog from the back, from taking blood work (another redflag that they don’t do it in front of you), the Doctor and the tech had already opened a medication and shoved it down my dog’s mouth without my consent just to increase the bill. They also said they will call the next day to check up on my dog and they never did. When they called 2 days after, with the results from blood and urine sample, they literally gave me nothing but a fat vet bill. This place is useless.

We've been taking our dog to this clinic for almost four years. They are friendly and always stay on top of any vaccination your pet is due for.

BEST place to bring ur pet. They genuinely care about your pets well being AND they don't price gouge you and drain your pocket. Most affordable vet I've found anywhere in the city thus far hands down.

My cat’s neutering was a very smooth, straightforward process. They called to check in the next day as well. Pricing is pretty good too.

I've been visiting them for a year now and every time the experience is great. They are very welcoming and professional. The staff is great with handling my cats and is very informative about everything you need to know before and after the visit. They always follow up with you the next few days to make sure everything is going well. I had 2 different doctors for my 2 Bengal cats during their spaying and neutering appointments as well as their surgeries. They were both very helpful with providing all the information, going through the process, and what I should expect afterward. Care instructions were explained in detail by the doctors themselves and the staff each time. I dropped off my cats early in the morning at approximately 9 am, and they were all good to go around 4-5 pm. In the meantime, they did kept me updated with them and the procedures. Best of all, they both did great during the surgery and recovered in less than a week or so. I was referred to them by a family member and now i refer all my friends and relatives here. Totally recommend, and you should try them out for yourself.

I had a horrible experience with this clinic. I booked a neutering appointment for my 9 month old dog. When booking I was asked how much my dog weighed and I advised "no more then 10 pounds". I was told it would be approximately $250.00. When I attended additional fees up to $700.00 plus for blood work and a "small dog fee" and was also advised by the veterinarian that the folks advising and answering the phones weren't the doctors to advise properly of all fees. I came from out of town and wasted my time for nothing. Train your staff properly and advise potential clients of all fees before wasting their time.

I've been going to this vet clinic for many years. Dr. Memon is very knowledgeable, kind, understanding and patient. He cares for animals very much and it shows.

The spay went well. However I was charged a huge fee of $50. I called prior to the appointment to ensure there was no heat fee. And I was told there wasn’t. And when I got home after the spay was completed and looked at the invoice I noticed a $50 charge for heat fee. My cat has never gone through heat once. She’s too small so explain to me why I was charged. Everything else ran smoothly however I believe it is unethical and wrong to steal peoples money when you insure them there won’t be a charge. That is why I chose this place because they said there was no heat fee versus my veterinarian who charges one. Disappointing.

They always do an amazing job with my chow chow! Even though they’re a bit far from us, we still love to go to their clinic since our dog a bit difficult to deal with, as he doesn’t like needles and isn’t good around other dogs so they always try to accommodate to his needs!

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! Vets are completely incompetent and give INCORRECT AND INEFFECTIVE TREATMENTS! Wasted my time, prescribed medication my cat did not need to inflate the bill, and worst of all, allowed my cat to suffer in pain when he absolutely should not have been.

2ND EDIT: Clearly this vet has no idea what they are talking about from their response to this review. I have since taken my cat to a competent vet (Dr. Ip with Glendale Animal Clinic is amazing!) and was given a round of steroids and my cat's ear returned to normal after the weeks treatment. No surgery required whatsoever. Surgery is a last resort for severe emergencies, which as I've established below, was never an emergency and yet the vets at Dixie Eglinton Animal Clinic insisted it was. Let their response speak for itself, do you want these people treating your family members?

My cat's ear swelled up like a balloon after an unfortunate playing session with the other family cat and we took him to this clinic. When we arrived, the vet came in and was extremely disinterested. No one I saw bothered to give me their name so I have no idea what this vet's name was, but she treated us as if we were liars when asking questions about our cat. She simply didn't believe us when we said "our cat does not go outside" and doubted us when we said that we keep his ears clean. After looking at our cat for all of thirty seconds, she prescribed antibiotics and ear drops. She prescribed ten days worth of antibiotics and advised that if he hasn't gotten better by the end of antibiotics to call them. My cat did not show any signs of infection (no fever, his vitals were good, high energy, no changes to bathroom usage) but I figured the vet knows best. Once we get home, I realize that they have charged us for 20 days worth of antibiotics, twice the amount than what he was prescribed. We were not told we were paying for ten days worth of medication that we weren't going to use. No other use other than a good way to pad up that bill. Walked away paying $250 for this visit, $75 for the vet fee, the rest for medications, $50 from these antibiotics alone.

After three days, it was clear the antibiotics were not working, but the office was closed because of the holidays. We finally got in today, five days later, but this time there was a different vet in. She comes in and sees my cat, takes one look and says "This needed surgery when you first came in, those antibiotics won't do anything. We can't do the surgery here, but it can't wait, so you have to go to the animal hospital. " They then refused to actually refer us to the animal hospital and told us to just walk in because "it takes to long for them to do a transfer and they don't want to be on the phone for three hours. " They didn't charge us for this vet visit, which is the only somewhat positive part of this whole situation.

These people have put my cat through unnecessary pain and discomfort, and a round of medication that he does not need, all to be told that they can't help him and to take him somewhere else. Save your family member unneeded suffering and go to a reputable vet.

EDIT: After spending over eight hours at the animal hospital, the vet there told us that all of the information given from both of these vets was completely wrong. Antibiotics should not have been prescribed. He was not in dire need of surgery, he did not need to be rushed to the hospital. Simply needed a competent vet. Yet again, sent away with nothing being done all because of this clinics incompetency, except now I am down $500 for two unnecessary vet bills.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The vets care nothing about the animals, so much that they gave my dog shots she didn’t need that killed her and did nothing to try and save her when she had time. They only care about money and filling their pockets. They are the reason my family isn’t whole for the holidays. Shame on all of you.

Do not recommend. They did not even examine properly. I did not have a good experience with dr. Sadia Warsy. They might have another better veterinarian.

I visited this clinic on numerous occasions to care for my own cats as well as foster kittens. The price for the initial consultation is very reasonable compared to the other vet clinics, and you can actually book an appointment the same or next day. Had my cats neutered here with no problems whatsoever, price was good while quality of service is excellent. Also, had to treat a very bad eye infection in one of my foster kittens, the vet was very professional and knowledgeable. I quite like the fact that they don't push unnecessary treatments and medications on you and just stick to what is needed for the best outcome. I highly recommend this place and intend to use it in the future myself.

Very rude Vet (ms. Warsia). So unprofessional and doesn’t respect customer’s time. And they charge so much for every small service and keep adding stuff which are not even required. Save your time and money, avoid scammers like these.

This is a great clinic for your pets. The staff is so warm and welcoming. The doctors are so nice and caring. I brought my puppy here back in 2017 and my experience was so good that when I got a kitten this year I brought him here right away. My kitten had some stomach issues and they really put me at ease answering all my questions because I was very concerned being a owner to a new 3 month old kitten. I have recommended this place to other people and I would highly recommend in the future to others as well

I called this clinic, asking cost for spaying a rescued kitten. They where aware I was on a pension and they advised they could help keep the cost down. I asked the reception when I booked the apointment a week ago, three times, to confirm price, no extra cost right? , only extra was taxes I was told and vaccines if I wished to get them done (I told them, she's had her first rounds, from previous owners, and her last set isn't due yet, I'll wait for her to be bit older).
They lure you in with low cost for spaying, then on day of appointment, they add additional cost! Spaying isn't the flat fee they quoted me, there were additional cost, there's a heat fee, which was never mention, I did say she wasn't in heat however, and if they see she's not in heat when they begin procedure, then they would refund me, but already she was advising they have never seen a cat not in heat when being spayed. So there goes more undisclosed hidden fees, just because. They wouldn't honor their original quote and was forcing me to vaccinate as well, adding further costs, saying it's only an extra 95 plus tax. Original quote more than doubled. Ridiculous!
Sadly, too many vets in Mississauga are all about money. Over kill on shots as well! Shameful.
So, no, they are not ethical and they deceive new patients. I walked out, I couldn't afford this! And they claim to care about animals?

I shouldn't have been told one thing, and be charge for things not discussed and things discussed changed into it's a policy or "the law", my choice to not give my young cat rabbies shots atm, is a valid concern, and not needed when undergoing a stressful abdominal surgery, which is needed, shots can wait after post opt, to promote healing and no chance of adverse effects from injections. When has a domestic animal ever have developed rabbies anyways! Never!
Cash grab! And like with humans, too many unessassary jabs and procedures, we, do not consent to btw, to keep you going back to doctors. Vets are no different apparently.

I'm very happy with the services of Dr. Sadia Warsy and staff. The staff are very welcoming. Dr. Warsy has been taking care of my Goldie and I would recommed anyone to this clinic. I travel all the from Scarborough for the best care for my furry baby.

The place is nothing but a money grab. PLEASE STAY AWAY! They use fear tactics to push you into doing as many tests as you can. They also push you to buy unnecessary medicines in unnecessary quantities. DISHONEST AND EXPENSIVE!

I went in for my puppy to be Neutered the vet assistant told me one thing on the Friday. I had asked for a letter stating that and she informed me that they would call me on Tuesday. No one did. I called back on Tuesday spoke to another vet assistant and she informed me they would email it to me. They did not. I called back on Wednesday to ask what was going on and hours later the vet called me.

She is extremely rude she would not listen and when she explained herself I would ask questions and she would get defensive. She ended up raising her voice constantly not letting me speak after letting her speak hanging up the phone on me so when I called back they blamed it on bad service. Even though she had rambled on and said bye before hanging up. Eventually I was transferred to some one higher up who said they would have a meeting and call me back he also told me not to leave a bad review but he told me he was going to call me on Thursday and did not.

So just be mindful when using this clinic I did not have a good experience with the vet but they are one of the cheapest which is why I only used them for my puppies neuter but I would not use them as my regular vet considering the vets demeanor. I didn’t appreciate being told 3 different things either when it should be facts.

Fair enough prices are low and I’m satisfied with the leaser neutering for my 1 year old puppy he’s in recovery and fells good

I have 2 cats and a dog, none of them had a good experience at this veterinary clinic. I honestly wouldn't recommend. Unfortunately it's a money grab, and the vet could care less about your animal.

Great Doctor very attentive friendly staff my dog loved them and she healed so fast i phoned different vets and got quotes and they were the lowest and the most knowledgeable staff i will only go back there from now on

Came a few weeks ago and got amazing service from the kind people that work here. They treated my cat so well even though hes quite a handful to deal with. The prices for service were very fair and the staff there really went over and above when it came to service. The short red haired girl I met when I went in seemed very professional and friendly would definitely recommend this place to others!

Staff is very friendly and informative, always providing reminders for upcoming/recommended vaccines for my pup (not so pup anymore)

I've been taking my dog here for the past 4 years and they're always amazing with very affordable prices. The vet and staff are super nice and you can really tell they care about your pets. I've been to other vets where it seemed like they only wanted my money. I'm currently a student so I have to be careful with my money. The vet is conscious of this and always tries their best to help me and my dog. They always explain all the available options and never pressure me into any procedures. If they believe something is unnecessary or a waste of money, they will tell me right away and explain exactly why, which I have appreciated. This clinic is the best and I highly recommend it to everyone!

First contact was with Sarah and she was so kind, so attentive. Then Dr Arif came and I could see the concern in his eyes. He was kind, was worry, I could see he care about our furry babies. It's not just business, I understand we need to pay our bills, but we need to love what we do. Even more if we deal with lives, and he care!
Later I called and he was so kind explaining us everything. The other day Sarah (I think it was her), called to check if Yoshi was better. Just so nice, kind, lovely.
I highly recommend them if you need to change your vet or your new pet needs a vet. I already told all my friends and some clients. Starting now if someone ask me about a vet, I'll always recommend Dr Arif for sure!

I came all the way from Vaughan to have my cats surgery done because of the price and reviews. I was very worried dropping her off but they took amazing care of her and walked me though the after care. Any questions I have they are able to help me over the phone, and they are very patient. As a first time pet owner, Dixie Animal Clinic has made the experience very comfortable, knowledgeable and pleasant. They have always honestly answered all questions and concerns about vaccines and neutering (in my case) and are completely transparent with their pricing.

I particularly like the email reminders of appointments, which are customized and helpful, not to mention the telephone calls after every vaccine and surgery to make sure my dog is doing well and any concerns answered.

I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a vet.

Where do i begin! I took my 24 week old husky here to be neutered. When we first checked in we were greeted by the nicest person in the world, you could see her look of animals. I was explained the cost and the additional services available and never once was there any pressure to buy the additional services. I proceeded to check him in for his procedure and I was assured that they would take great care of my fur baby. Which they did. They called me to let me know when his procedure was over and to let me know he was resting comfortably. When I arrived to pick him up, i met the vet who performed his surgery and again, one of the nicest people you could every wish to meet. She explained everything to me and told me to call if I had any questions or concerns. I brought him back for his post op appointment and was re assured that he was doing fine. I will definitely bring him here again. I would also recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a clinic where the staff cares about your fur baby. Did i mention price? The prices are better then anywhere in the GTA. Well out of the ones i contacted anyway and trust me i contacted a lot.

We brought our 2 1/2 year old Sharpei mix (she’s a rescue) she’s afraid of loud noises, and most people. I was kind of worried that we’ve have a difficult time getting her treated, but it went pretty good. A few days before she started getting a little itchy but when I woke up that morning she had scratched herself raw in a few placed. The vet was very nice, informative, and gentle with her. Thank you Dixie Eglinton Animal Clinic.

Staff are really friendly and doctors are really helpfull, my dog got hospitalized here and they really took good care of them till he got better.

Even though it’s out of my jurisdiction, I truly don’t mind the extra mile just to get their service, knowledge & communication. Fantastic staff! Dr. Memon is a blessing to have as a Vet. He has compassion and is kind. I have referred many clients to him. All of them are thankful to have met someone like him. He is honest and will go the extra mile to help u in the time of need.

Dr Memon is knownlegable, friendly and affordable. There was an unusual problem on my dog, was treated, with no extra meds or tests pushed on me.

Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience. It is important to note that we are experienced dog owners over the last 25 years.
Firstly I had to argue for them to honour their advertised dog spaying rate (advertised on their website, on their reception desk flyer and on kijiji) - what they fail to print is that that price is only for dogs under 6 months of age and under 25 pounds. I had to insist for them to allow me to push up the spaying appointment so that so my dog would be 5 months and 2 weeks old but they still charged an additional $75 for her additional weight - she was 39 pounds. It was only once I arrived for the appointment that I was told that once they open her, if she shows that she in heat then there will be an additional $150! The assistant told me that there was no external indication that she was in heat and in particularly her glands were not swolen. Sure enough I get a call later in the afternoon telling me guess what when they cut her open she was in heat and so I needed to cough up another $150. I expressed that I went to this clinic because of their advertised affordable prices and that no other clinic has such a clause (which is true based on the inquiries I made to other clinics). The vet then proceeded to belittle me by agreeing to discount or waive the fee but I would have to say that I can't afford it - so humiliating! They will try to guilt you into purchasing extra services and/or extra medications/shots in order to jack up the price.
Thankfully the spaying went well and my dog is healthy and happy but I cannot recommend this clinic and will not go there again. It is nothing but a money making machine. Ignore their advertised "affordable" prices because by the time you walk out of the office, it won't be anymore affordable than any other clinic - in fact, in my experience, had I paid the extra $150 it would have been MORE expensive than the other neighbouring clinics.
Very disappointed and a shame. If they simply honoured their "affordable rates" and left it at that, they would more than make up the lost upsales in additional client volume. Had I had a pleasant experience I would have referred all of my friends there. The owners might be good veterinarians but they are terrible business managers.
