Dixon Small Engine Repair

Snow-blower repair in the late spring.stored over the summer.started it two days ago.all the same issues. Called today.rude, unhelpful, lackadaisical attitude.

There are plenty of people willing to do a GOOD job elsewhere. I certainly DO NOT recommend this shop.

I’m just gonna say one thing “ SOOO DAMN RUDE” I called and asked about my lawn mower and they have so much attitude and talk back with such rudeness. Their service is so expensive, I’d say just watch a YouTube vid and figure it out yourself. Horrible services.

Costumer service is very rude and unpolite.did not fix the machine and sad that he was busy and didn't care. Never go back.

I was looking for a bar for my stihl chainsaw. They didn't have any in stock of any size and only 3 chainsaws to chose from. It's supposed to be a stihl dealer. I don't think so

Took a chainsaw in for service after leaving a flat fee of 30.00 to troubleshoot it I had to wait a week before they called me told me it needed a new carburetor 243 dollars. They also told me it had low compression so its not worth fixing. I decided to order a new carburetor off Amazon for 25.00 delivery 3 days. Now I know its not an original carburetor but it runs just fine now. If they were such a great shop why wouldn't they have suggested that route? Obviously they don't care about their customers. I don't think I would recommend this company at all.

My lawn mower didn't start up this spring after sitting all winter. I dropped off the gas mower for service, and it was ready within a day or two. Great service. The gentleman who took care of me was very friendly, explained what was required. Overall, very satisfied. Great service, at a very reasonable price. I'd definitely return for future needs. They also have a good selection of tools. Drop by, worth the visit!

Dixon did a fantastic job on repairing our lawn mower. Fast service and quality was excellent. They were very busy but managed to turn around the repairs quickly which was appreciated. Would definitely use them again.

Horrible horrible staff here. Completely ignorant with TERRIBLE attitudes. They don't care at all about anything so don't waste your time here.

Excellent service. I took my little snow blower in and it was ready just a few hours later. It runs well again and was exactly as quoted. John was great to deal with. Will certainly go there again when needed.

Our table saw stopped working. It got fixed in 1 day. Great service. Excellent, honest pricing. Highly recommend.

I have been to Dixon Small Engine repair in the past and have always been pleased with their service even though it has cost more money than expected on many occasions. That is fine as long as the service has been good.

I dropped my lawn mower of because it was not working. I received a call on three days later and was told to "Come and pick this thing up" The repairs were going to be more than the machine is worth. Other than the rudeness and attitude of the mechanic I could deal with the fact that things break. When I came to pick up the mower the same mechanic I spoke to on phone could not be bothered to get out of his seat to help. When I asked if they could show me what was wrong with the mower just so I understand the mechanic that worked on the mower again could not be bothered to get out of his seat. Another mechanic tried to explain the problem but since he did not work on it he could not explain the problem. When I commented on the attitude and rudeness I was told "We don't like giving out bad news"

Well here is some Bad news - I wont be back - I will not pay for rude service and childish attitude. I will find my service somewhere else.

Also purchased a Stihl Blower from this location last fall (Very happy with it) I need a chainsaw for this season I will be buying a Stihl but I will NOT be buying it from Dixon Small Engine Repair and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.

Fantastic service, and it was over the phone. Nothing beats a little free advise.

Brought my snow blower over because it wouldn't start. When I Put It Away it Ran like a charm, but now Neither electric or pull would start it.
After a few days I Got The call. It "needs a new carb". At the tune of 250 +TX. Not feeling right about this diagnoses. I brought To Another spot. A day later I was called to come get blower. No Problems. Was told the gas smelled funky so he changed it and added some seafoam to run through. The blower runs like a charm once again. He cleaned the carb. I asked him what he thought about the diagnosis Dixon gave. He laughed and said that in his Opinion. Nobody did anything. No screws Removed or anything touched. Still dust on the engine. Doesn't know how you could come to a conclusion like that without a Proper inspection.
Anyhow completely disappointed and won't go back. And definately won't recommend. If asked. I Will tell my experience.

Horrible place, liers who don't give a $#! T about their customers.
Gave them my 2 year old snow blower to examine, after 3 days they called to say it needs a new engine due to low compression, wouldn't offer repair estimate didn't want the work. Told me to sell it on Kijiji for $50 ($2000 snowblower)
Took it to a different place, they flushed the fuel, changed the spark plug and machine now runs like new.
What a bunch of low lifes, shameful!
Keep it up, you'll be out of business in no time.
